I had to wait both on pick up and drop off for a human to be present. The store is left un attended most of the time and employees are outside smoking cigarettes. No one was knowledgeable or could handle rate questions and just referred me to the website. I will not be using this location or maybe even haul ever again.

delivered about 2 hrs later than schedule. Some thingsscratched, but that was the movers, who I got through uhaul, not problperly packing it.boxes came out with this mystery green powder on them.

The first location that I was scheduled to pick up was a total nightmare. 3859 Peoria St. should not be allowed to be a U Haul representative. Noone spoke English and could not explain to me, why after wating an hour They just sent me away.

This was the most incompetent Uhaul experience I have had with them. I rent a truck from them 2 times a year and every time it is worse. I won't be going back to that location. They have continually overcharged me for gas upon an after hours return. There was no paperwork because their printer was broke. Initi5they said gas was at 1/2 tank. Then they could not find the truck for 20 minutes even though it was right in front. Then the gas was barely over 1/4 tank and he said it was over 3/4. I corrected him and he listed it properly. Once I get my bill they charter me $21 for gas. I went 20 miles and put $10 worth of gas I. The truck which was more than I should. This place is an utter disaster.

It would be nice to integrate local information. Such as in downtown Seattle, parking would be a huge problem, and some alley does not allow ubox to stay over night. It's reasonable to recommend moving help in downtown Seattle area, as movers can literally put ubox on truck and move things quickly for you.

Manager and staff did not seem to get along. At least one employee cursed at another. Staff was not present when we first got there.

From start to finish this was a poor experience. The drop off was slow, people didn't know who did what, and one staff member spoke very disrespectfully of a co-worker in training. I was expecting the hitch install to be a professional job with the wiring permanently attached to the hitch. Instead I arrive to have the tow wire hanging loose and you lost a screw to our light cover which we now have to replace. Upon leaving we also noticed damage to our vehicle, still waiting to see there is any video coverage. I would prefer to return everything and go somewhere else but we have a trip this week that we need the hitch for.

This location helped us after we had made a reservation at the Federal location who do not have a truck for us to use because they lost the keys to the one clean truck available and the dirty truck they had, they could not release because they could not close out the paperwork from the previous renter as the credit card was bad. After waiting 90 minutes we went to the Colorado location and were helped quickly. UHAUL needs a software consultant ASAP as the system said only the Federal location had trucks when in fact the Colorado location had three. The customer service at the Federal location was a 1 out of 10 - multiple people came in with reservations but no moving vehicles were available. It was a very poor customer experience at the Federal location - no real apology for the issues and delay.

The staff in CO were great! The only challenges I experienced were in HI. The staff at Handley`s were disorganized and acted inconvenienced by my complaint when rain leaked through a crack in the box.

The truck was fine and the employees at the pickup location were friendly. The reservation process was very poor/disappointing, though. I requested a call from a manager but have not been contacted.

The location was fine. The rest of the experience was horrendous. You should be ashamed of your booking process and lack of follow through. A week before my reservation, I received a confirmation e-mail but the time was wrong. I called your reservation number and asked the lady for a copy of the recording. I have not received it and the lady couldn't fix my reservation. Moreover, even though the e-mail that I got said my reservation was confirmed and guarenteed, I received a new e-mail a couple days later with a new location - 14 miles away on very busy roads. I called back and spoke to another agent and again asked for a copy of the recording. She verified my e-mail and agreed to send both recordings from both calls. I still haven't received either. When I booked the reservation, well in advance, I was confident that I would be able to pick up a trailer at close to the time I needed and relatively close to my house. This process cost me time and money. Not to mention, you failed to honor commitments that were both in writing (e-mail) and stated on your reservation hold message. I am not someone who complains a lot or who responds to surveys often. You can be assured that I will tell this story often.

Brought truck back 4 days early. Fast return check in and the staff member was great. Checked fuel level and mileage. Quick walk around and was out within 5 minutes. Big parking lot with space for multiple pick-ups and returns to occur at the same time. Appreciated not having to squeeze a huge truck through a packed lot.

Originally I was signed up to drop off in Alma, CO. We went to the location and U-Haul doesn't exist there anymore. Then we spent time on the phone, dialing several different numbers, talking to a variety of people who couldn't tell us where to go. Eventually the problem was solved but I ended up dropping my U-Haul off almost 2 hours away from the original drop site.

The girl that dropped and picked up the U-Box was great. This could be a simple and convenient process but there is a lack of communication. I received no confirmation on placing the order. I did check spam folder. There is a disconnect between the call center and the individual U-Haul locations. Incorrect info given by phone. Customer service has to be better at this price. My things arrived undamaged and on the date I requested.

I wanted to have the 26' truck to minimize trips/mileage. Was told I'd have to pick up in Brighton with no break on additional mileage. I reserved the 20' instead...they gave me a much smaller truck, al.out trippling my miles. I feel scammed and ripped off. Next weekend I will rent from budget instead and future moves as well.

Reduce the line/waiting time to pick up the vehicle. At about 9AM on Sunday, there were almost a dozen people in line, with two agents working the counter. To make matters even worse, it takes about 10 minutes to complete the paperwork, even if the vehicle is reserved (like mine) and there are not a bunch of questions or other issues that arise. This isn't brain surgery...Sunday morning, busy day, long lines, personnel to handle, etc., etc. ...

If moving queen mattresses I would suggest using the 10Ft van. The Cargo Van is too small and it is very difficult to get the mattresses in and out. They are too broad to stand up and too wide to lay flat. Both the telephone agent and the personnel recommended the Cargo van and that was a mistake.

The equipment was dirty due to snowstorm, but it could still have been better. I found after I left that one of the lights on the trailer does not work. I also was going to tow the dolly 5 miles with a different vehicle to where the vehicle was that I gave them information on and they would not let me. This cost me extra time and inconvenienced me greatly.

The employees were unfriendly and unhelpful. I brought the gas back with more than a half tank and when they went out to check it the said there was an 1/8 of a tank because it must have settled. Also I used less than the miles allotted but they wrote down the allotted miles and charged me for miles i did not drive. I recommend standing next to the person who is checking your vehicle back in to double check what they write down.

The truck itself was fine. My husband rented a larger truck with the pull out ramp and found that much easier to load and unload. It was clean except for the smell of smoke in the cab! No other vehicle rental co. lets people smoke in them, why does U-Haul?

I only had the equipment for a total of 4 days and was charged for 7. I was told there are no refunds for the unused days. I don't think you should be charged for unused days. I WILL NOT USE Uhaul ever again. There are way to many other companies that are out there that can be used.

Everyone from the owner to the fine gentlemen hooking up and unhooking my trailer were magnificent, not a typical rental experience, as their positive and upbeat nature made me feel like I was among friends.

Customer service was excellent but the truck I rented was very dirty. Windows were coated with an oily film. In fairness to this location, I did make a last minute change in the rental vehicle, so perhaps they were unable to clean it properly. The truck ran great though. I am very happy with the overall experience.

Requested twice that we have access to our U-Box. First time call went to Phoenix call center. Requested specific time for access giving more than 24 hours notice. Facility had no record of our request and personnel went on to tell us it was first row, aisle something and that he would have to move 11 boxes to get to it. Also, it would take some time to get to it. We were on a tight schedule and couldn't wait. Second time calling 5 days later, once again call went to Phoenix call center and they were having problems putting in the request for the U-Box. Said we would be getting a text confirmation because they couldn't get the request in due to system issues while we were on the phone. Also, 2nd request was more than 24 hours notice as well. No text confirmation and that was 4 days ago. I'm not even sure I have a U-box in storage any more! POOR WAY OF DOING BUSINESS UHAUL! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

Rented a car hauler trailer for a cross country move. Everyone at the facility was very helpful. The only draw back was the next morning while doing a pretrip inspection. The front tire straps had come off during the previous late night segement...i dont know if they were installed incorrectly or someone had tampered with them...but both side were tight enought that they wouldnt just slip back on... Be smart...ALWAYS check your load or trailer before ever getting out on the road...the life you save could possibly be your own

Less surly counter reps would be nice. A smile goes a long way. I'm sure it's not a high paying job but, if you don't like it, work somewhere else. It's Denver, after all, and there are plenty of jobs to be had at the moment. I'm not referring to the owner as he's great and gets that it's about the customer service.

The young woman who received the truck at the end of the rental did not listen when I commented that her hand-held thing calculated a mileage that was not in agreement with what was written on the paperwork. It was only one mile and I stated that I was ok with paying the extra 70 cents, but she was argumentative and should have actually listened to what I was telling her -- that paperwork should agree with her electronic records because if it was more than 70 cents, we'd have more to talk about.

The only bad part of this rental experience was when we returned it after hours and saw that we had to put a lock on the back door because of the extra equipment in the truck (which we did not ask for). Definitely make sure that you do not give people equipment they don't need nor ask for and then forget to tell them that they need to do something extra later to ensure those unneeded things aren't stolen.

It's not about the "location" This review starts off wrong... How about how was your experience with uhaul in general... Uhaul had the worst Internet service, I constantly had to call back multiple times just to quote them on their promises to me ... I spent over 5,000 and still had bad service. Some of the locations are Rachid, basically for a old business, they are way behind in time. They had no back up plans and the system together was a joke and everyone knows it... uhaul, next time I'll just buy a damn truck.

They are a busy so you may have to wait a while to be served. I did not have to wait on this visit, though. They give you undivided attention when they are serving you. The process of checking in seems lengthy but checking out was a breeze. (Van rental return, not check out of unit - I haven't done that yet). Very friendly staff. When you check in (for a storage unit) your unit has a lock on it with "customer ready" tag. It takes a while to get that removed if you don't ask for it while you're checking in as they will be busy with next customer and not available to answer the phone readily if you call from your unit to have it removed. Can add time to getting started and getting your job done. Once in, it seems clean and secure. I really like the staff.

I wouldn't recommend the York st location. The staff failed to check the scheduling log and allowed the equipment to be double booked. They then had to get me equipment at the Colo Blvd location. When I inquired about the reservation refund the GM at York St LIED about the policy "you got equipment so you don't get a refund", that's not quit your policy. Maybe someone should explain the policy and customer service to her. If the staff at York did their jobs and checked the scheduling log they would have schedule my pickup accordingly. Thank you Ed and staff for covering for the York St location. Hopefully this will get to the York St MCP.

The manager at this location was abrasive. When we had a concern about getting refunded for our Ubox being 3 days late, he gave us no end of excuses, even contradicting confirmations his own staff had given us that the shipment was as delayed as we insisted. As a small example of our experience, he literally after one of his sales clerks told us that she saw on her records that what we were saying was accurate, he continued to argue with me about why we should not receive a refund. Eventually, like some kind of politician, he offered us a "compromise" and said he would refund us $100 of the $150 owed. Ed was not a good communicator, seemed only to care about his bottom dollar, and made us feel like Uhaul was doing us a favor by allowing us to do business. We will -never- use his location again.

I absolutely would never EVER recommend this location to a friend. As a matter of fact, I would tell my friends to stay clear of this place. After forgetting to put a dolly in the truck, which we had to go back for, my husband was driving down the road and the ramp to our car dolly was dragging the ground. The pin was broke, and U-Haul knew it. So when I called about the dangerous defective piece of equipment, they had us drive it 45 minutes back to the location. HUGE liability. Very, very disappointed in U-Haul to the point I never want to use the company again.

This was easily the worst experience I have ever dealt with. The location was fine, but not what I wanted. I made my reservation for a location that was .3 miles away, instead I end up being sent 10 miles away. I don't care that there wasn't a truck at my original location. That's not my fault. So why should the customer have to pay all that extra milage? I picked my storage unit specifically because it was right next to a uhaul. So instead my bill was significantly higher which was not something I was planning on paying, not to mention I could barely afford. I'm furious that you would make the customer pay for YOUR mistakes. I was more that inconvienced and I will absolutely never use uhaul again. This was ridiculous. Not to mention I spent all day before trying to call customer service and literally no one answered or my call was cut off every time. Absolute bullshit. I'm in customer service and the experience I suffered with your company is something I would never allow with my associates. You absolutely need to reevaluate your policies about milage and teach your employees how to communicate with customers. I've been reading reviews on your company and they're awful and now I know why.

I got to the store 15 minutes before 8, which is when I had reserved my truck. I reserved my truck on the Sunday before I moved so I could move quickly and efficiently, and had friends waiting for me to help me move. I even did the online check-in, in hopes to help the process move more quickly. Instead I waited in line for 50 minutes to get my Uhaul and when I asked the owner about how we could be compensated for the time we lost, he reported that there was nothing he could do except call 1-800-Uhaul. I found it unacceptable that I had to wait and make my friends wait when I had reserved a truck for 8:00 am but didn't leave the lot until 45 minutes after that.

My reservation was for 9am at the location closest to my house (750 S. Buckley Rd). When I arrived they stated that my reservation had been moved to the next closest store (615 S. Havana) and I had been notified of the change via email. I double checked my email account and only found one confirmation email regarding the reservation. The email did not include any information about changing the location. I arrived at the second location and they did not have the truck I had reserved either. They sent out a notice online and eventually sent me to a third location. At 11am at the third location I received the truck. The people I hired to help move waited at my home from 10am until 11:30am. The whole experience was very inconvenient and inefficient. The truck needs an alignment and was difficult to steer. Returning the truck went smoothly.

Brand new Ford 650, 26' Moving Van. Awesome!! Clean, comfortable, easy to drive and maneuver. Great price!! Very, very happy with overall rental experience!! My suggestions to other renters, rent twice as many moving blankets as you think you need. ALWAYS purchase the insurance on the truck. Without the insurance, if the truck is damaged, it will take hours upon hours of your time to deal with the situation. Not what you want to be doing after a move. Happy Moves!!

Nobody at uhaul ever contacted me regarding the delivery date of my UBox. My UBox was sitting at a storage facility for 8 days before I was told I could come pick it up.

Move out from Richmond, VA took a long time due to one Ubox being brought at a time and not having pads/blankets like we ordered but move in to Denver, CO was excellent.
