I moved 7 pieces of furniture in one of your trailers, no boxes, no plants (no dirt involved), no parts, nothing else. But you charged me a $15 cleaning feel. Therefore I will never use U-Haul again and I will not recommend your location to anyone, and I will actually tell them specifically how you guys are thieves. Hope the $15 was worth it!

My reservation was supposed to be at 4, but I needed the truck sooner and came in around 1:45. Amber was assisting a couple when I walked in and I overheard her saying "she's off at 2". By that time I got to the counter it was a few minutes till 2. Amber was amazing!!! Normally when your a customer dealing with someone that is soon to be off...you can tell. Not with her. She was extremely kind, patient and kept a smile during the entire transaction. I even apologized to her for coming in so early and she was about to get off. But not once did I ever feel rushed. The customer service Amber provided me was by far one of the best!! Keep it up Amber!! I will definitely come back to this locat

I lost the key to the van. I was told to call roadside assistance. I did that and after being on hold for 15 minutes I was hung up on. This happened four times. How can you have road side assistance never answer the phone and then hang up on people when the only reason to be calling it is the customer is in trouble! The store personnel finally got me a key. They were extremely helpful and caring. Corporate roadside assistance is horrible.

Uhaul barricaded my car in between trucks. When I came to drop off my rental I could not leave the parking lot. I had to take an uber to work and an uber back to my car. Ridiculous.

Much too slow to pick-up trailer. I often rent trailers and use the early check in. Despite this, I still was stuck in long line in order to complete pick up process. A kiosk or some type of rapid check in like with rental cars (Hertz Gold, National Emerald Island, Avis Preferred) would be a huge improvement.

PRICING WAY TO HIGH......they get you with ad that the truck is $29.00 or 19.99 then charge .99 per mile! Because this was the only place that had any trucks most of the mileage was getting to and returning to this location. What a rip off!!

The guy at the register was nice but when we went to get our trailer, the guy was rude! We could understand him, it sounded like he had a potato in his month and he was also aggressive. Returning the trailer was hard to do because we needed to go to another location. I'm very unsatisfied with the customer service and the way we were treated. And I would never go back to you guys!

I've rented there twice in the last 2 weeks and many times over the last several years. Everyone there is great. It is well-run by friendly, helpful people who act like they want to be there.

Everything regarding the rental went quite smoothly and the staff was all very friendly. Regarding the van, it was extremely dirty. I even mentioned to the staff during the walk around that I couldnt tell where scratches/dents were due to the dirty condition of the van. I cleaned the front window myself just to have clear vision at night. The front interior was clean and comfortable.

The second location where we picked up the truck at 1501 Dallas tollway was the best. They were so nice and responsive. Even though they are not the closest to me, that is where I would go from now on to rent a truck.

Have the sales assistant check out the vehicle with the customer. The paper work in Dallas showed just under 3/4 tank of gas. After we left the facility we noticed it was just over 1/2 tank. When we checked the vehicle in Denver the assistant checked 1/2 tank when it was just over 1/2 tank. It cost us extra. Instead of thinking all went well and cost $1250.00 (including gas) for the trip, we will remember getting charged extra at the end of the trip.

I rented a van and ask what the height was in the van and no one knew the hight of van, they had to measure it. They should all know the height of any moving vehicle.

Then when I called the one 800 number they told me I could only drop it off at the original location agreed-upon. I have used several times uhaul in the past and this was my worst experience

I overheard a cashier complaining about the corporate office. He said the register system changed and they never told him so he had to figure stuff out. It would be good for him not to complain about corporate in front of customers and also understand that figuring things out without instruction is one of many key to success. Whining is rookie.

I originally reserved a 26' Truck from Print Parcel and Ship. To be picked up at 9am on the 11th. Reservation number 25640871. Upon arriving I was told I'd have to wait until the employee arrived to take me to the truck. Which was a mile down the road at a storage facility. Meanwhile I had reserved and even done the pre check in to save time as it said on your website. Ultimately the employee arrived and I followed him to pick up the truck. He said hop in, your truck is back this way. I got in the vehicle with him and we drove to the back, where he said "oh man, not sure what to tell ya, it's supposed to be here" he then called his boss and she gave me a story about how the previous owners failed to return the truck on time. (Not my problem) The employee said that I would be receiving some major refunds from Uhaul. At that point, I had a job to do, was paying help by the hour and had to find another truck spur of the moment. The next nearest was at George Bush and the Tollway. Which is quite a ways from Lebanon and 423. Ultimately got another uhaul, and started work about an hour and a half late. But after we were done moving everything where it needed to go, instead of a buddy taking me down the street 10 minutes to drop off the truck, I had to drive it 15 miles south to the pick up location because if I would have wanted to drop at the original location, it would have cost almost $100 more. I thought I read something about a guarantee that my truck would be there, if I reserved and paid in advance? None the less, my move is complete and I spent several additional hours working, paying help, and driving in rush our traffic, because uhaul didn't have their stuff together. I'm not a happy uhaul customer.

There was an issue with the trailer - brakes wee either coming on or it had a bad wheel bearing - They tried to find another trailer for me - without success - I drove the trailer for 250 miles - after about 75 miles the situation corrected itself and the trailer was fine -- likely a bad bearing - the staff at this location is always great

Was over charged for gas. I estimated 15 miles used 10 and was charged $14.00 for gas. Store tried to charge me for the insurance after i had already declined with my pre online registration. They unethical part is that the general manager just shoves the paper work in front of you and asks for a signature, no explanation unless you ask.

I was not told when I picked up my rental that the local Estes Park operator was closed until March 13th because of weather issues. This necessitated my making a 100 mile roundtrip to return the trailer. Had I been told, I might have made other arrangements. Not this location's fault......but UHAUL had to be aware of the problem and I could have been informed in Dallas.

By far the worst possible experience with any uhaul location ever!!!! Made my reservation over a week in advance, was called one day prior to pickup and was told i could come get my trailer early. Should up at the pickup location with my reservation and was told they didnt have a trailer for me and i would have to go to another location. I left there, very pissed off! Called uhaul less than five minutes later and was told the original location had my trailer and i needed to go back there. I went back and got my trailer and tried to schedule my drop off at a location that had storage units. I was told i did not need to schedule but they would give my a drop of site that also had storage. Left with my trailer only to find that a tire was damaged and couldnt go anywhere until it was replaced. After all this, i drive almost 1000 miles to my destination and go to the address they gave me only to find that there was no storage available at that location. Had to drive 20 miles away to a different location. Uhaul shohld be much better than this. They wasted lots of my time and my money without ever offering even so much as a slight discount for all the inconvenience. I work in customer service and would have been fired long ago if i ever considered treating my customers this way. Will definitely not be recommending uhaul to anyone!!!!!

Called my alternative number (my parents) instead of my phone number to ask where the truck was at 2:30 in the afternoon, even though I put it in the after hours Dropbox the night before. Did not drop the charge for the 100 miles even though I disputed it. Left a Google review saying exactly that.

The truck that I rented had a broken sun visor, so every other bump, the visor would fall and block my vision. I informed the store of this so they next person to use the truck wouldn't have to deal with it like I did, and they responded that that was something common in a lot of their trucks. It didn't seem like an urgent thing for them to want to fix the trucks so they don't block the driver's view.

To whom it may concern, the first 15 ft truck i requested should have been 15 ft not 12 feet and the other 3 feet above the cab, I had to redo the paper work because I was moving something 13and 1/2 ft long .also you have a x on some of the scratches and dents but I spent 5 minutes on a walk around to find many more dents and scratches , I should not have found anything with out a x but I found about 10 things what a waist of time, and when I found out the 15 ft uhaul and it was only 12 ft i had to go back in and redo everythingand get a 20 ft truck and the first person that helped me had now Idea what he was doing , the person the helped with the 20ft truck was good and helpful , I will rent from your competitors on my next rental in 2 weeks unless someone from your headquarters can call me and can guarantee me a much better experience in 2 weeks on my next rental , My cell # is 214-957-3728 Bill Berry

The service at this location was ok but more importantly 1 thing was I reserved a tx8 trailer and upon arrival was informed that there were none available at that location or anywhere nearby. I had no choice but to take a larger trailer which ultimately cost me more in gas to pull although they discounted the rental by a few dollars. The next tragedy was my items were wet upon arrival to my destination. One of the items was a painting that is 57 years old and a brand new tv in a box never opened as well as some bags. We did have rain on the journey but I would not expect that the trailer would have leakage.

The fuel in the truck was not filled up to the stated line in brochure. Make sure you double check this because I did not and had to pay more. I drove 32 miles and the truck averages 8mpg, I went to pump 4.5 gallons of gas to make sure I got the truck back to the original fuel level. The person who I returned the truck to looked at the fuel gauge and said I was about 2 gallons short. I then argued that the truck had less gas then what the brochure said and he told me you should have checked before leaving. I guess it was my fault for not being diligent and asking all questions and concerns.

XAVIER COOPER WAS KIND ENOUGH TO HAVE SOMEONE CONFIRM THAT THE TRAILER WAS INDEED ON YOUR PROPERTY. I needed to wait a few minutes, both on the front end in picking up the truck as well as when I returned it. Not a huge deal, but not to see anyone for a few minutes on either end shouldn't be the norm. Also, I believe I had a very short ramp for a 26' truck which made the incline a lot worse than it needed to be.

I met 5,6 people yesterday before picking up the truck. None of them were helpful. I visited U-Haul for the first time so I was not aware of the drop off and other policies but they were not interested in giving the information / service. It was just that they were doing it for the sake of doing it. And its was not like they have workload or are busy but it clearly showed they were very lazy. They were not interested in helping me out even though it was their duty. I am not sure but I think it was due to the fact that I am not US citizen. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends or colleagues. I hope you take some action on this.

1. Your registers should be 1st come 1st serve. Some transaction are quick some are not. A customer should not be penalized with a 30 plus minute wait for picking the wrong checkout line. 2. I did not request a dolly, but I was provided a dolly. My husband insisted we return it immediately. Your employee confirmed I would have been charged if I didn't waste my time (and MILEAGE) by returning it. Why should I be penalized for YOUR employees mistake? 3. When picking up the van, the check out process had me verify that I wanted the credit card I reserved with charged at check out. I confirmed because that is the card I wanted to pay with. Then I bought a blanket and paid with a different credit card. This must have confused your computer because when I returned the van the second credit card was charged and NOT the card I VERIFIED I WANTED TO USE. Thanks so much for screwing up my budget, I greatly appreciate it. If it was a problem, why didn't YOUR employee simply ring up the purchase as a separate transaction?

I picked up the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. I drove it abou 10 miles. The needle barley moved so I did not stop and put $2.00 worth of gas in it. Upon the return I was told I would be charged $30.00 ....i needed to get back to my clients house so I let it go. When I looked at the receipt they had the needle positioned much lower than actual. I think this is poor business practice. I called later in the day and was put on hold for 25 minutes before hanging up. I have been renting trucks from this location for many years. That was the last time. Is it worth loosing a loyal customer for $30.00? O hope not.

I am on hold with customer service right now. I was told the tank was at 1/4 but when I got in the truck it was below that amount. So before I returned the truck, I made sure I put gas in it to the 1/4 mark (i.e. putting more gas in it than was originally there). So when I received my bill this morning and was charged for gas and told that it was well below what I turned it in at is ridiculous. I will fight this with the credit card company as well. The truck was very dirty when I picked it up which I was not going to complain about, however, being discharged really irritates me. I rent from you each year at this time to transport my product to a gift market, but you are not the only gig in town. I no longer live near this location but have gone back to here because I have had good service in the past. This has better get cleared up. While the service was solid, I have 3 comments: 1) There was clear tension between two members of the inside staff. John helped me and was under "constant oversight" by a young woman - the tension between them was hard to hide. 2) The same young woman spoke openly about the condition of the restroom (dirty) in front of me. Inappropriate. I think customer service is important to her, she just needs to expand her definition of what that looks like from the customer's perspective. 3) The check out was long. I reserved online and did the additional "quick check in" (not sure of the actual name) online. I honestly thought I'd be able to "confirm my ID, sign, and go". We live in a "right now" world. Once I invested the additional time online beforehand, I expected my checkout to be very easy and it wasn't.

Amber Carter at the Plano location needs to be fired. She is rude, dismissive and a HORRIBLE representative for U-Haul. My experince with her was less than one star. And after coming home and reading other reviews it seems Mr. Tori Spears is just as bad. I read a review on here were he was just as much of a jerk to a customer as Amber Carter is, so it doesn't surprise me about her attitude. Poor customer service, seems to be their business model there. Whoever with U-haul that reads or follows up with these reviews should looking into the serious customer service issues at this location. Its a 2016 world of social media and transparency, you wont be in business long if you don't. I will not come back to U-Haul or recommend them to anyone else. Will look elsewhere in the future for a rental.

I went in to schedule pickup FROM THIS LOCATION. Went to this location (2 mis from my house) on the day of pickup, I was told by another rep that my rental was moved to Carrollton. Well I'm glad you asked. My Son needed to move into a campus apartment so I called a second time to try and figure out what best to do, a lady from U-haul helped me solve the problem by suggesting a one-way + trailer, she was very good. After we booked though and before pick-up day a guy called from this location and tried to talk us out of a 10 ft. truck and into a 15 ft., saying they were short trucks. I didn't want my Son driving a larger truck out of state, and I kept saying No, but he kept pushing. Finally I said look, I booked this over a week ago, and I don't care, I'm not changing! He backed off finally. Then, the day after we picked up the truck I received another disturbing phone call from a guy in OK. where the truck was to be dropped off. This guy says that truck needs to be here tomorrow around five, I said No they gave us an extra day, it doesn't need to be there until 5:30 the following day, we kept going round and round, finally I said call someone else I'm hanging up on you. I would tell anyone using U-haul during a busy weekend, these people are aggressive and you have to be forceful right back!

The entire rental set up and pick up was a joke. The stores were great but setting up the rental was terrible and highly disorganized on your end. Your staff in this department I would grade" F" . When I arrived at the rental yard I previously arranged and I was standing at the counter in the location I originally set up I received a text to pick up the trailer, your employee tells me he has no trailers and informs me I need to pick one up across town 20 min away after I just drove thru that area in congested traffic to top that off it was 108 degrees! I preceded to show him the text that said it was ready for pick up at his location? Needless to say I wasn't happy!

The truck I rented did not have a working air conditioner or turn signals that operated properly. Because I had to accomplish my move in a very limited time, I pressed on, rather than waste my time protesting the vehicle after discovering it's faults while on the road. Upon completing my move and filling the fuel tank to a level slightly above what I picked the truck up with $10.50 worth of gas, the attendant charged me an additional $5 fee for returning the truck with what he saw as a low fuel level. I should have photographed the fuel gauge at vehicle pickup to help protect my interests, but assumed U-Haul was a fair company, my mistake. All in all, this location, staff and equipment are completely unacceptable based on my experience. U-Haul needs to do a lot better.

Whoever decided to put the lock box surely was not thinking of safety! This location is surrounded by dark fields and no one knows where the lockbox is unless someone tells you or you just happen to find it after wandering around for an hour which I did not I even called in to 1 800 U-Haul they couldn't tell me where it was at I walked around unsafe trying to locate this box when finally a truck arrived leaving their truck. I asked where is the Dropbox is? the lady pointed to it for me as she went to drop hers off it was behind all the trucksame that had been returmed all were lined up and you could not see it I don't care what you did walk around you would have never seen it unless you knew it was there! I'm highly upset about that I could have risked my life looking for where to put some stupid keys at!
