When I reserved my rental I chose to pick up from a certain location but on the day of pick up I went to that location only to find out it was moved to another location and no one informed me. This then increased my pickup time to 3 hours which is 300% longer than what I had scheduled for. This pushed the rest of my day back. In the future I will use a different company since uhaul was not cummunitive of the change.

We waited for a hour to receive our equipment. Turns out they didn't have our 17' truck (that we reserved 4 days prior) so my fiancé and I had to compromise with the 15' that they had available. When we arrived there was an unimaginable line of people waiting for uhauls (that weren't ready). Worst experience. I went with uhaul due to the lower rates but I much rather pay more with budget or Penske and receive my rental at the designated time. This experience definitely played a major issue in our moving plans. Never again will I return to uhaul!

Motorcycle trailers are the best way to move handicap scooters due to it being very low to the ground and because of the attached ramp. Made the job smooth, quick and easy. Thany you bor being there.

The installer missed 2 screws that hold the plastic cover underneath the car. I'm returning to pick up the screws tomorrow if he can find them. I don't want just any screws, I want tje original ones. Other than that, everything is good.

While the locations seemed to be well maintained at each location, the biggest, and aggravating problem I had was the location I chose for pickup did not have the specific truck I wanted, even though I gave the location a full weeks notice. I was forced to go to another location that morning. This ended up wasting a whole hour of valuable moving time, and I was extremely upset about that. I was never emailed, or contacted about the change, and only found out the day of the move. Simply put, if a customer gives you a weeks notice that they would like a certain size truck at a specific location, it needs to be available at that location, as long as you have a couple days to get it there. In my case I gave Uhaul a weeks notice and they failed me.

My booking experience was terrible. I made specific arrangements for a truck based on my travel. At the last minute it was switched to an alternate location several miles away from the hotel I purposefully stayed at that was next door to a very large Uhaul facility. It took me several attempts using the dispatch number to get through and each attempt put me on hold for 20 minutes and hung up. Once I finally got through, they said thre were no truck available at the site I reserved, but the lot was full of trucks?! Once I got over to the facility they sent me too, everything was fine, so this rating really applies to the booking system not ye facility.

The gentlemen who assisted me with my rental was not very engaging. He did not greet me and was very robotic. He did not ask me to do a walk about of the truck prior to leaving stating that because I purchased coverage it did not matter. Did not agree with him so my partner did a quick inspection before we left. Did not tell me anything about the night drop...had to figure it out (couldn't find drop box upon return). Other than that it was fine.

I am charged a repair fee of $66.44 for a damage. I called the local office many times and could not get a response from manager. I am sure that i did not do any damage to vehicle. Buy they accused me of doing a damage to top corner of the vehicle. How come i inspect the top of the truck and take pictures once i pick it up. I want my $66.44 back please.

The first location I was sent to was not even open according to the hours they were supposed to be open. I called the day before to confirm. I wasted at least 1 -1.5 hours at the Fondren location (which was quite a pitiful place) and then having to call UHaul and then being sent to the Bellaire location which was a much nicer facility. I wished they had NOT sent me to the Fondren location to begin with.

The electrical wiring on the passenger side did not work. I noticed at Microcenter after another driver had honked when I made a right turn I assume because the signals did not work. Next time I will get out of the car and check the light myself. The lady that gave the green light did not do a good job.

I was held up at desk due to debit credit card verification. I was asked to show 2 forms if ID, a lease or passport. I had to provide 2 different credit cards for verification. This information should be told prior to rentals

Jonathan Moreno (mgr.) along with his co-worker, told me "If I didn't like the customer service, don't come back"... (I called "Todd Taylor" on 03/24/17 @ 8:10pm, and informed him of the poor customer service...). In additions they lied on the return time, they put 03/26/2017 11:50am. I was at Grambling University baseball game at that time, on the other side of town. The truck was returned before they opened @ 9:00am. I have had a few billing issues the past few rentals, but overall I've had smooth transactions with U-Haul. I AM NOT DONE WITH THIS MATTER, I WOULD LIKE A RETURN PHONE CALL... Dealing with U-Haul is like fathers day in the projects, nothing but confusion & mis-information After returning the trailer, I bought my own for future use so I never again have to deal with this company. The location I finally did get a unit from was decent enough, the phone center should be shut down with the cost used to purchase new up to date equipment.

I picked up an 8 ft truck the day after a hard freeze...so there was about a 2 inch thick x 3 ft long of ice in the bed. After I alerted the UHaul staff of the issue (before leaving their lot), they were kind enough to help remove the ice out of the bed. Good job, guys!

They opened late. The lady handling me rental couldn't work the computer, then gave me the wrong 15'truck. When I wen to turn the truck in the contract had a different equip # and mileage for the truck she gave me. A difference of 20,000 miles and my trip was less than 100 miles. It took over an hour to return the equipment due to this error and finally after about an hour trying to resolve this over the phone with a "transportation" the tentative solution was for me to leave the truck at the return location and U-Haul would resolve the mistake without further charges to me.

Will not rent from uhaul again and will not recommended anyone there. Lied and said truknwaw on full we checked had them redo the contract to put the tank where it's at. Charged 16 for being 20 mins late other places give you at lease 30 mins grace periods. 8 told my other three friends to cancel their reservations.

I had to come to this location because where I had the reservation, (beechnut &gessner) was locked. I didn't have an issue with I the location on Bellaire but the manager at the other location needs to be reprimanded.

They double charged me for the rental. They supposed to have refunded me back for the dolly when I returned it instead they charged me another 60 dollars. The regular employee agreed, yet the manager was not trying to understand the issue. The customer service understood. I told the manager my mom gave me a lot of those blue covers and he said they will take them just put them in the uhaul and they will fold them. Yethe they charged me for not cleaning the uhaul. I give up. Now instead of my bank account showing positive it is showing a negative 345.00 because I am being charged for NSF and money that I should not have been charged. I have been going to this uhaul for over 28 years and never experienced this type of service. I got my first hitch there. So dissappointing.

I wasn't upset with this location, as much as I was with the location alongside the Sam Houston toll road. I scheduled a pick up there, for them to notify me once I got there that they did not have what I needed, and sent me further than where I intended to go. Had I known, I would've selected another option closer to me. I also tried to return it to the same place I tried to reserve from, and was told I could incur a $300 dollar fee for not returning it to the location I got it from. To me, this is poor practice and customer service on Uhaul's end.

Our reservation was for 34 street but the Person taking the reservation screwed up Our rental date And there was not a 26 ft truck available so we had to drive Accross town and settle for a 20 ft. Then once I was told to drop the truck off I drove there and the place was closed Sunday and Monday . I do not like how I was given the run around and I want you to credit my account for 1/2 of the rental

The person who helped us with the truck was really helpful. Inspite of the fact that Sat afnoons are the most busiest for them, they took time to answer all the questions we had. The uhaul location is pretty well maintained and the staff are really helpful. Overall it was a very positive exp. for my wife and I.

We made our initial reservation at 10515 SW Frwy. I gave Jessica a rep my credit card information and she told me the total amount would be $253. After I hung up I had a question & called back. This time I got the General Manager who said I did not have a reservation and he did not have & never has had a Jessica working there. Of course, I panicked, wondering who had taken my card information. I hung up & called again. This time I got the reservation center again and they confirmed I did have a reservation. I also went on the website to verify. We also went by the SW Frwy location & the person behind the desk looked on her computer & also confirmed our reservation & said the truck would be there for us to pick up Sunday am. We left & about an hour later, I got another call telling us our truck would be at the Bellaire location as we requested. I told the person, I did not make that request, in fact, not only did I not make that request but the word Bellaire had not ever come out of my mouth. After getting several more calls, we finally agreed to pick the truck up at the Bellaire location. The girl said they would give us a 20' truck for the same price as the 17' since a 17' was not available & they would add 10 miles at no charge for the inconvenience of having to pick the truck up at a location further away from our storage. We were satisfied with this arrangement. However, we received our credit card charge and it is for $50.10 more than the agreed amount. We were 30 miles under the arranged mileage & we put more gas in the truck than when we picked it up. We would like to know what the additional $50.10 is for. I can be reached at 281.793.9029. I was irritated that after getting two different prices from my phone to my computer. I did go in to the location to make a reservation for the equipment that i needed. the following day they told me it was for a different location.

I called at 6:27pm and was told to come on down. They close at 7. Took my reservation showed me how to check my email and do express check in. Got to the store location on Bellaire Blvd in Houston Texas and the employees had closed the store before 7pm and refused to rent me a van. Door was locked and it wasn't even 7 yet. The we're behind the glass counting the money down. We're very rude to me when I asked why I had beenough told to come on down, made to go through express check in and all, wasted my gas driving clear across town to find a closed store. False advertising online and when I called. Guy inside with other two workers told me the most I can do is come back at 9 the neXT day when they opened again. His manager wants them out of the store by 7. It was awful customer service. I called customer service and made a complaint and nobody called me back like the promised. Worst rental experience ever. Lost money based on their delay.

I have been using this location for more than 3year at least 2 times a month those days. Today the manager on duty was to harsh on me, he told me there was a scratch on the truck when I returned it, but I let him realized that I pointed it out to the lady on duty last night and that I marked it on the green paper given to me but this manager will not believed me calling me a liar. I was not happy because he knows me very well, and I made him to understand that I do not have anything to gain by lying to him. he was all over me calling me names, which I believed he must have been under drugs by what he was smoking to be acting like that. This guy is a total disgrace to UHAUL period.

Granted I used the van to carry cooked food and it was cleaned and no food particles was found on it they charged me $50 which they said they will use to re-clean it. I was also told that after 100 miles that I will be charged 0.29 cents per mile instead they charged me 0.79. I was in a hurry and I didn't want to argue with them . I felt being treated wrongly and unfairly.

I was pleased with the service I received at this location. I was not pleased with my overall experience with U-Haul. I placed a reservation on the 24th at a location close to me (2305 Voss). When I arrived I was told they did not have a truck for me. I was told that a text message would be sent to me when a truck was available at that location. I went to another location looking for a truck and was told to call traffic and they would assist me. I had to drive 20 miles (from my home) to pick up a truck at the Bellaire location. The 1st location I choose at 2305 Voss was only 3 miles from me. I was not at all pleased with the Voss location. I was very upset that a truck was not available where I made the reservation and that I had to pay for the extra 30 miles used on the truck.

My experience at the first location where I had reservations (Pronto Shipping and Packaging 3354 Chimney Rock Houston Tx77056) I would NEVER CALL AGAIN! I received an email and text confirmation. Called 3 times. Lady VERY RUDE and hung up cause she had a customer. Called back put me on hold and said just come in. Called back and put on hold never came back on line. So Friday we are on our way to pickup trailer and my son called and she said she doesnt have a trailer. Sorry. Ask her to help find a trailer and of course that didnt happen. I had to call your traffic dept.and Anna found a trailer on Bellaire. I think the Pronto store gave my trailer to another customer cause she could make more money since the Sugar Land location orginally quoted a cheaper rate but didnt have a trailer.. Greed. I did NOT like how I was treated as a customer at the Pronto store. Why did I get a comfirmation by text and email and then no trailer? Plus you need more help at the Bellaire and Pflugerville locations. Waited way too long and had reservations
