When i first arrived i waited approximately 10 min before any employee came into the store I was third in line. Finally one showed up to wait on customers then maybe 10 min later the manager came in. She was in the hitch bay per the security cameras, looked like watching one being installed. The staff that I encountered was friendly but all but the manager looked over worked and hot. Very shocked on how dirty the van was. Even though I purchased the insurance I took pictures to have a time and date of the damage that already existed. There was no walk around on the equipment with an employee I was just handed the keys and told where I could find it. Dropping off was much easier and quicker. I will use this location again however I think the workers deserve a raise. The lot was very busy and I only saw 2 workers and Dave working it.TENA S.

The truck I rented had driver's door damage. Twice during my rental, the door opened when going over speed dumps. If I had more time I would of called Uhaul to come bring me a new truck with the insurance I bought. The is equipment is UNSAFE!DAVID H.
I was overcharged for items I did not purchase I called the store a d was put on hold for 30 minutes to be transferred to another cue but no one ever came on the line. The truck had bugs in the driver area and the cargo area had roaches in it. I was quoted one price the next day was charger almost double what I was quoted. No one came to check the truck or mileage before i left yet i got billed for mileage that im not even sure i used. I use u-haul often but will never use this one again. Already left a Google review but I wasn't able to pick up the truck I was renting using the 24/7 mobile scheduling. The manager didn't really care about the situation and just said that seems to be a problem with scheduling online. It's unacceptable for this to happen, especially if I am not the first one. I called multiple times during the week to make sure everything was okay and would never get in touch with the uhaul location but three customer service reps said it would be no problem. The day of when we couldn't pick up the uhaul, two employees on the phone hung up on me and the third again didn't care and could not help us. Overall an unacceptable experience with terrible customer service. It's a good thing other truck rental companies are popping up because I will not be using uhaul again. When I brought up the issue I had when receiving the truck, I was told that the location I picked the truck up from is just a u-haul affiliate and since that was the case the manager said that he could not help me. I find this ridiculous.William G.
I had an issue with the fact that I had reserved a dolly and when I went to pick up the truck, I could not get my dolly because there were none available and was told they were not guaranteed. I ask: why do you not tell the customers this? Then I told them to give me the appliance dolly at the cost of the dolly and of course the answer was NO. So if you try to rent from this location online it'll let you perfectly fine but when you get there they won't give you the trailer in this case because we had a 4-door Jeep. And according to them a four-door Jeep cannot safely tow a 5x8 open top trailer to pickup one table for whatever dumb reason it's against company policy. So now instead of $20 for a trailer I have to spend $20 plus mileage for a van that has more damage on it than it does stickers for previous damages... The van I got was so jacked up that even the key was broken on one side completely off so you can only use the key one way and I didn't realize this until I accepted the stupid van.... Oh and did I get caught for the mileage because of discrepancies with U-Haul no absolutely not I got charged even f****** more.... So putting the 33 mi on the vehicle my total should have been $45 but no I wake up this morning and f****** rat bastards charge me an extra 20 f****** dollars because I turned the m*********** in early you better get the f*** out of here U-Haul and fix your goddamn s***..... Needless to say if they do not correct this I will be disputing this charge absolutely because I did not authorize getting screwed over three times in one sitting u******** acceptable.ALEXANDER L.

I have not rented from uhaul in a long time. Great experience checking in and checking out! Love the no paper email and text w docs! Very convenient and fast. Equipment was obviously maintained. The mobile app check in is confusing and hard to navigate. Thank goodness the location was still open when I went to pick up the vehicle because the page that had the code to get the key to the truck got accidently tapped and then I could not get back to get the code again. It had already "dispatched me" per the gentleman that helped me inside. Then the truck was not in an area that I could find easily without walking the parking lot so another gentleman had to help me. And once returning the truck I had followed the instructions and put the key in the drop area and was trying to confirm my drop off and then it wanted pictures of the truck for return! I couldn't take a picture with the full fuel gauge so I hope the guys checking the truck in realize I did indeed bring it back full. In short make the mobile option easier to navigate and if you get ahead a step you have the option to go back to the previous page.Taryn H.

1. I reserved everything 2 weeks in advance and When I got there to pick up the truck snd moving supplies they did not have everything I reserved. I was missing one dolly, 40 pads, and an appliance dolly. The one guy behind the counter had no clue about how to check me out and use the computer. neither of the two guys behind the counter were empathetic, apologetic or offered any solutions to them not having my supplies. The were rude and acted as they just didn't care. They did not ask my if I had any questions or show me how to operate this 26ft truck. They just handed me the keys and my receipt. They did not go over my receipt explaining my charges. They basically said here's the keys, here's the truck. The did not say thank you for using uhaul. They did not ask if I had questions. They did not say have a nice day. Nothing. During checkout (before I entered my credit card) I asked them to break down the charges and their answer was I don't know but it will show on your receipt. I said I want to make sure it's right before I pay you. One guy said the â€œscreen won't show meâ€ then basically tried to rattle off his memory what he thought I was purchasing and said if there's a problem after you pay well correct it. I was frustrated and was under a time crunch to get back with the truck because I had rented Help to help me pack the truck. I was so aggravated I will never use U-Haul again.Terrell H.

I rented a truck with the fuel gauge saying full. After driving for less than two miles, the fuel gauge read 3/4 of a tank. I drove a total of 9 miles and had to put $10.00 in gas to get the fuel gauge to a full tank (roughly 2.7 mpg). I've driven tanks that get better mileage than that.RYAN K.

I asked to the rep at the Altamonte location before I rent the truck if i can dropped off in another location without extra cost and he said no.
