The staff is great ...

Great U-Haul Storage Facility... our first experience with storage facilities and it was outstanding. Every time we entered the building, hallways and access areas were well-maintained. Never had ANY issues with our unit... never saw any bugs or critters..! Staff was great... we had a compromised credit card and they were very helpful in transferring our account to new card and setting up our Auto pay. Highly recommend..!

Facility is always extremely clean. The fact that they have dollies on hand free of use for customers is extremely helpful. The convenience of having everything you need on hand, also amazing. Also being it was an indoor facility with security gave me such piece of mind. I would recommend to anyone

Everything was great EXCEPT not one employee wore a face mask and with this Pandemic it was a little disconcerting. Other than that, it was simple, efficient and friendly.

Jennifer the GM was Amazing! Any question asked she confidently responded with assurance. She is pleasant and professional. Her entire staff is always polite and friendly. Thank you Jennifer for everything.

Gavin is an excellent employee and person all around! Couldn’t have done without him for sure. His positive attitude and smile kept me going. Also I must mention Vivian, soft spoken but not to be fooled! She was the best. Very customer friendly, nice spirit and beautiful smile! She sealed the deal for my storage. Not sure if the other guys name but he was nice as well. All, if I must say, we’re excellent. Thanks guys for helping me get through the day that almost tested my sanity! 😳

Was a great experience, William was extremely professional and accommodating for us during our move. Ended up not using the storage unit as it was too far back in the facility for the amount we were moving. Would recommend for anyone with a lighter load than we had!

Very Helpful staff. When I was confused and disoriented inside the building, there was almost immediate assistance from the gentleman on duty. It was very much appreciated as it was right at lock down time and he patiently walked me through what I needed to do. Very nice people here at the 8th St location.

I originally leased a unit, which I was paying for on time each month. since I had yet to use the storage unit they decided I didn’t want it and leased it to someone else without notifying me. I rented the unit bc I was going to move to a smaller house. My plans changed and I wasn’t going to use it right away, but I had others plans of using it. But I was paying for it so I could’ve used it whenever I needed it. I believe I was taken advantage of and paid for something they decided I no longer wanted.

I want to thank Jennifer and staff for always being helpful and informative. It’s been a pleasure knowing you and I wish you continued success.

Extremely accommodating. Free dollies to use which i can’t say enough about how helpful that was. Indoors which is also very nice and convenient. Really clean. Staff was amazing. They have everything you would need to haul and/ store your items. Wouldn’t choose anyone else.

Lost my reservation and had to wait while paying movers outside to go through long check in. New location not as convenient as the lost reserved one

No light in storage unit.

The only issue I had is I reserved a storage unit on Monday 3/30 online to move in on 4/4. When I got to the Uhaul they stated they didn’t have the unit I reserved but they had a smaller unit they could offer me, I looked at the unit and accepted it because what other choice did I have with a uhaul full of furniture with no where else to go. The employee called his supervisor and he offered me a free month of rent but I also returned a Uhaul so that automatically qualified me for a free month (the employee told me that) so I actually didn’t receive anything for my troubles but a smaller storage unit. The employee I dealt with was friendly and helped as much as he could but Uhaul needs to a better job at checking reservations and making sure units that already reserved are not being rented out by other individuals.

Very clean facility! Was very pleased with our experience and would use this place again when we need a storage facility.

They need more employees. Customers are backed up.

I was not educated by the staff on selecting a storage unit and I would have never chosen a unit so far away from the elevator and front door. They chose a unit for me but never told me location at the time. Too far away and made the storage and clean out much more difficult

Jennifer (Mgr) and Brian (Asst Mgr) are awesome. Both very helpful. This place is very busy but they both go the extra mile to take care of us.

I have had my storage unit with U-Haul of Amelia for over 10 years and never have I had any complaints about the facility or the staff. I highly recommend this storage facility.

Registration was made very easy, shown the process, storage units were clean, didn't hesitate to contract with U-Haul.

Overall a terrific experience...easy access, plenty of carts for moving in and out. Clean and comfortable.

As long as we followed procedures that were established,we could move things to or from storage and not be bothered by management.

Good leadership at this location. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

As a long term customer I was annoyed with the inexplicable creeping up of storage rates that is practiced by U-Haul.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The site we rented was covered in layers of leaves and twigs. We are elderly and it.I requested that the site be cleaned up and the third time Ian’s no results, we decided to move out trailer elseware

Jennifer and the team are excellent! The facility is clean and well maintained. We have had items stored a couple of years and never once had rodent or pest problems. Do not pass them up! Mark B

When grass was cut, clippings thrown on RV. Takes 3 1/2 hours to wash. Wet grass on RV like cement when it dries. Terrible! I would still be at U-Haul if it were paved or gravel.

My belongings were safe and secure at this facility. Plus they are a central location for renting and storing the U-Box moving product. I may use this system in the future.

The unit was fantastic. As we're the staff.

Felt as if on the times i came on or called in i was interrupting their day. My reservation i put in stated nothing due that day and as i try to explain he totally ignored me wasnt willing tp listen.

We had a reserved a 10x30 unit, and had called and confirmed it more than once, but on the day we arrived, there was no 10x30 unit. We got 3 units instead. Had difficult time checking-in also.

Great staff and facilities

Stored an RV on site. I was disappointed to experience the men that mowed the grass would have the lawnmower blow grass on the sides of the RVs and boats. For the nicer RVs and boats this is serious

We had a great experience working with the manager,Jennifer. Where we stored our boat needs work . Soft soil so tires sink into it. When mowed grass clippings are all over our boat. Needs to be paved.
