My unit had overhead wood columns, we noticed after a year that wood chips were all over the boxes and other items. Also, despite the extended time we used the unit, there was a very strong mildew smell on everything. Overall this facility was very satisfactory. Thank you to all the staff members. Well this was the first time I ever had to wait nearly a hour to pick up my reserved truck and I rent frequently from different locations for my business. There was only one cashier who I would say handled his self very professional but was the only employe that works the register Wich had me and other customers waiting for a long time this location needs to train other employees to work the register so when this happens again they can utilize all three registers But only one employee to work the register and I asked other employees to help they said they don't do the register I'm very sorry to say this was the worst experience I had at all the Uhaul's I use to rent truck for my businessCESAR D.

From the trucks transmissiom slipping and struggling to change made this experience rough. Couldnt change it once i found out because i was in the middle of moving things. The lengthy wait time to get someone to help me with this didn't help. Last but not least the Uhaul employee couldn't find a way to send me my invoice via email. This meant i needed to come back to this location on my time to pick this invoice up. Please address these issues as im sure you will lose lots of business like this including me. The employees are amazing and this review has nothing to do with them. The employee I felt with was respectful, curious, and helpful. The equipment however was horrible. I drove a 13-14 year ole truck that should have been retired years ago, the brake light came on within 5 mins of leaving the parking lot. U-Haul needs to get it together, you expect people to drive these across country? I was white knuckling it for the 40 miles we drove it. Get your stuff together with the vehicles. This was a smooth transaction to get my initial unit, change my mind to a larger one the next month then change to a smaller unit the next month.....then I finally moved into my new home! The staff was friendly and very helpful, fully accommodating my requests for the numerous changes. The manager was always available when needed. She trains her staff very well. Not happy at all with the trailer that they gave me. the sales associate actually stopped to take a photo of the tire that blew out during my trip. I arrived at 10:45 AM to pick up my truck, went inside, and could not find anyone. Another couple arrived a few minutes later and all of us walked around banging on doors and yelling "hello", hoping the attendant would hear us. We looked outside as well. 15 minutes later, he walked in, and the only thing he said was that we could only have one person per group at a time in the facility. I arrived after hours so I did not go in to the facility or talk to anyone. But it was strange that when I pulled into the lot to drop off the car 2 police cars were in the parking lot. Also having issues trying to drop off the truck after hours was frustrating but calling customer service was very helpful.Jeff C.

Try to have better Custer service and work with people. Sometimes there running alittle late ib a move. There should be a grace period. If your going to take on extra fees or $30 plus in charges for someone being 30 min late without telling them about the charge before hand, that's a huge disconnect and major issue. I rented several times in the past. My company has a contract with other truck moving services that I will look forward to using in the future. Prices are good with uhaul but the sneaky rude staff called customer service is not worth my peace. Never again!!LATOYA K.

While the location was fine the attendant first told me that the trailer was not available despite my confirmed reservation. I had to be very assertive and she eventually reluctantly processed the rental. She directed me to the trailer "by the edge of the grass" and she would meet me there. I had a trailer connected and ready to go when she finally came out to tell me that I was to take a different (identical) trailer so I had to disconnect and connect to a second trailer. The website experience is inconsistent on a number of levels. When booking a cargo trailer, the confirmations come back with a utility trailer. This seems to be an error/bug in the website. The consistency of the check in process across the app and the website is not great since you have to add vehicle information again.Jesper G.
Had a problem contacting the store on the day I had the rental vehicle. It was due back at 7pm and no one answered the phone. I called at 6:40pm and was on hold for 30 minutes. No one ever picked up. I incurred unreasonable charges after ward.JOHN B.
This was my first uHaul rental. I made the reservation online. I chose U-Haul because of the low load height and ramp. I arrived to pick up the rental, upon looking at the 10' truck, I thought it may not be large enough for all the training equipment and realized it also did not have a ramp. I asked the associate at the desk if he had a 15' truck available. He answered in the affirmative, but it was his first day, and he needed to have his manager do the change the reservation. For the next 30 minutes, I waited patiently for his manager, whom he had contacted via cell phone. When she did finally arrive she took care of me quickly. and I was on my way. Once I entered the vehicle I noticed it was not the cleanest, but its a truck... I then found a cigarette in the ashtray (not cool!). The airbag light was on and there was a quarter tank of fuel. I filled up, loaded up and the following morning proceeded to our training location. On day 3 it rained. The vehicle sat for the morning. When we completed our training and were going to load-out we discovered about 3" of water in "Mom's Attic". This required us to remove all our equipment, get as much of the water out of there as possible and then put down clothing we use for scenarios to soak up the water that was left and try and keep the equipment dry. I did return the truck late and was hit with an additional day's rental in part because our class ran a bit late, but also in part due to the having to off-load, dry, and reload the truck. I understand these vehicles are not water-proof, but I believe there is an expectation they won't flood. This was very disappointing. I will have to look at other options and compare them next time.William A.

The employees were very courteous and professional, however it took me almost 1 hr to get my truck because they only had one person working then they tell me I need to be back by 5 because someone else is picking up truck at 5:15! So you already took an hour of my time and I need to bring it in earlier then the 6 hours I requested? I only ended up with the truck for 4 hours and I booked 6!MARIO G.

There should be in place partial reimbursement due circumstances beyond a customer's control. When closing on a home so much depend on factors that can't be controlled. I arrived on site and followed the instructions to gain access to the building. Went to my unit and found it locked with a small brass lock. Went to office and asked for assistance. Attendant was busy processing truck returns. I said I would try again the next day. Returned to find lock still on unit. Attendant met me at unit and removed the lock. Opened unit to find a 12"+×12"+ vertical support column in the middle of the unit. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the Attendant who said they couldn't do anything. I also requested the round lock that was supposed to be included. Attendant said he would get it and return to the unit. Attendant did not return for 15+ minutes and was outside handling truck returns when I went to find him. I returned to the office after another 10 minutes and he handed me a lock. He said he had to call GM to get access to locks. I asked if he spoke to the GM about the obstruction in my unit and he said No. Summary: The unit is not acceptable and another unit should have been assigned immediately. The customer service was terrible. Besides the waiting, the attendant did not address a significant issue and obvious customer dissatisfaction. The obstruction was not noted on the website or any subsequent communications. I reserved a 5'x10'x10' storage unit. The obstruction reduces the available storage volume and prohibits storage of most wide or long items. I have been waiting for the assignment of a new unit.
