In addition to being really slow in processing information when I try to pick up and return ( not all employees are as poor), UHAUL without authorization tried to put through a charge on my credit card for an unconnected matter. My credit card company alerted me of the unauthorized charge and blocked it. UHAUL STINKS FOR DISREGARDING PROTOCOL FOR MAKING CHARGES ON CUSTOMER'S CREDIT CARD. You buys NEVER print these comments, just a waste of time BUT NOW YOU KNOW.michael B.

The truck that was rented was okay except for the part that the rear of the truck and the cab had a bad leak because of the rain. I lost a lot of product due to the leaking roof. I use there uhaul truck to move my bbq business around. But i lot a lot of charcoal and paper goods. But overall uhaul is my go to rental company.CLEVELAND W.

When i arrived at 6:45 Pm to drop of my van i was having trouble returning my van and i asked a employee to help me return it but he ignored me until 7:00 pm i asked him again then he claimed that he doesn't get paid past 7 then asked me for $10 if i wanted his help but i didn't have cash on me only my card then he closed the doors and left me outside.Ulnise M.

The customer service at the front desk was great. The truck had multiple dents and scratches but serviceable. Perhaps my only critique is the mobile application, sounded great but not functional at all. Every attempt was an error or kept spinning with the â€œstill processingâ€ message.quincy G.

While the equipment was clean and worked well. The still active sensors for the tire pressure system did make me a bit apprehensive. Unsure if each uhaul location has it but maybe a device that can reset the sensor prior to it being rented out may be something the company can invest in.Richard V.
This survey asks questions that do not permit answers that actually describe my experience. Like the fact I had to wait almost four hours for a truck because none were in. One truck was on the lot being kept for a customer who was LATE almost three hours overdue while I sat there WASTING MY TIME. That was a poor decision on the customer service people's part.. They called the guy who insisted he was coming and would be there in 45 minutes per the policy to hold it as a courtesy but he was many hours late. After that LONG WAIT, I finally convinced them to let me have the truck as the one they were waiting on for me was not in.. I got dropped off to pick up the truck and after waiting almost three hours they were telling me to go and come back, or rent a more expensive bigger vehicle they had on the lot at MY EXPENSE).. They suggested this even though thew Closing would have been in an hour and a half. UHAUL Employees need to be better problem solvers and not disadvantage people and waste their time. I can never get those hours back, but also it COMPLETELY MESSED UP MY SCHEDULE and deadlines. I was early and they were VERY LATE in providing my reserved truck. I am glad you have people working at your business, as Homedepot, Lowe's and other business seem to have skeleton and non-existent staff. Its mainly foreigners/immigrants that don't give a hoot about the job, Americans, America and our work ethic, while on the other hand they are overly zealous in treating customers as if they are the enemy. At least you've got workers, BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE, TRAIN THE AGENTS TO LOOK FOR SOLUTIONS AND GET OFF THE SCRIPT. AND WORK TO SOLVE PROBLEMS THAT ARISE, rather than so horribly disadvantage a customer..michael B.

Truck would not start after I drove it off the lot on Linden blvd. The truck had barely any gas when I drove it from Linden blvd to 220 and hempstead avenue. No one walked me around the truck or showed me how to use anything inside of the truck or open the back or unload the ramp. The gas should have been on half but it was empty. Roadside assistance came to see what was wrong with the truck. He said the battery terminal was loose. He told me to go to uhaul the next day to extend the amount of time for the rental because i did not have help late at night to move by the morning. When i arrived at the uhaul the next morning 9/1, the customer service rep agreed to extend the time but argued with me stating i would be charged an extra 100.00 to extend the rental. She stressed me out. I rushed home to get the rental and slammed the door closed when I went inside to call my brother. I spoke to an agent on the phone explaining that the tank was almost Empty and the engine was running. I requested the truck be towed to uhaul and made a new reservation to pick up at 15' truck instead. When I arrived to pick up the 15' truck they refused to rengt me the truck stating I had to pay for the truck i did not use plus pay for roadside assistance. My credit card was charged although I did not use the truck at all! I did not move the truck from 220 street and hempstead ave. I did not load the truck with any items. I did not use any mileage on the vehicle. I would like a full refund for my inconvenience. My bank account is negative 300! You owe me overdraft fees!Anjanette C.

I'm totally convinced the truck needed servicing before it was given to me. The drive was very unpleasant. There was constant hesitation, approximately an hour into my journey, I was convinced the truck was going to shut off and the inside of the cabin was very hot.
