The close at 5 pm and someone where still at the location whoncannot give any help to customer and I spent 1 hour to complete the return because I have an android (samsung) who cannot pick up the location anytime I tried it comes with an error I have to call my son to come with his iphone to complete that return for me. I was very upset and this is very discouraging.

Company representative was rude, equipment ( hand truck ) was missing unknown to me, u-haul changed original one way reservation ( queens to Bronx ) to return to queens ( very inconvenient )on day. before pick up. All this amounts to a pandemic unnecessary overcharge.

The Jamaican guy at the rental person wasn't the problem. He was quite respectful and helpful. It the Mobil app that u have. It's sucks. I did everything on the app and I still had to wait there for an hour to a truck. The reservation was made but the van selection proceeds did not go through. That's unbelievable. Won't do that again.

Experience would have been better if the truck was at the location where we booked it 3 days prior. We were told it would be here. It wasn't. Instead we had to add extra mileage on it because it was at a different pickup location. 10 miles out of the way.

Day before I was supposed to pick up the truck I was told by U-Haul Via text message that my truck I was no longer available and I had to drive an hour out of my way to pick up a truck in a bad neighborhood, customer service rep gave me no alternatives, I had to call 3 times but received the same answer With no help. The truck was still being cleaned at 9am when my truck was supposed to be ready and it was not ready till 10am an hour late.—— whoever reads these please see if a full or partial refund can be applied, I've used U-Haul a lot in the past but won't be in the future if these issues aren't rectified

You guys need to be more specific about the gas gauge instead of drawing a circle around the amount of gas amount in the tank when picking up, it's very confusing to the customer. If you are just below the mark you charge above fast rates but there's no refund if I'm above 😇

There was only one customer service rep and 7people waiting. It took nearly an hour and half to get the truck. The representative was ok and was trying to service two customers at a time which isn't an ideal way of handling customers. I also had issues with picking up my truck at another location. The overall experience was way below average

Throughout my experience I didn't find one associate who knew what they were doing. I was told to find my own van in the lot AND was searching for 10mins until I found out I was given the wrong key.

Where to start... I searched all Uhaul locations and booked a 20 foot truck online, prior to my arrival, was notified the day before leaving and was told there wasn't any on premise... I seriously don't understand why that happened, but no explanation was given. There are certain contingencies that have to be met and mine didn't qualify for the Uhaul guarantee, so that went out the door. I even called the Flushing branch and customer service from their end was horrible. #attitudecheck Location states that they open at 9:00 AM, but no one was in the office because doors were locked at 9:20 AM. It appeared to be a one man show. The only person in sight and holding it down was the truck valet/handyman Barrington (shout out to him). Ironically he was cleaning a 20 foot truck as he was helping the lady in front of us. I was in queue and another group came after. Because he was the only one, the group behind us left simply because it took too long to be helped. Apparently there are trucks for in-town and one way trips and that one was for in-town use. I'm thinking Uhaul may need a major overhaul on their websites? #Imsurprisednoonehasevermadethissuggestionbefore My question to Uhaul is: WHY they DON'T differentiate that on their websites, so there aren't any discrepancies when it comes to pick-ups? I'm sure everyone can relate to my disappointment and frustration when your hands are tied, having to sell, leave, and have my mother bring up the remaining possessions left behind by me as a result from Uhaul. What seemed like an easy, one shot, one way trip, will be two - next time without Uhaul.

There was a long line and the associate Rochelle was trying to handle multiple customers at once. She did the best she could and there was another associate with no name tag on he was so slow and did not have the knowledge base to help customers and also was wearing AirPods looked very unprofessional. While waiting in line for some time I looked around and the floors were not swept from the previous day as I was there early at 9:00am. This location needs to focus on customer service and presentation to be successful.

Add more trained employees. This location is under staffed which causes major delays in picking up and returning the vehicles. The employees at this location are very professional and try their best to service the customer as fast as possible. Again you need more trained employees at this location.

Overall, the staff at Cambria Heights was very helpful. However, I didn't enjoy my overall experience with UHaul. The customer service via phone was horrible. I spent almost 25 minutes on hold whenever I called. I was told I could return after hours but was not told about the return fee. Imagine my surprise seeing an after-hour return charge showing up on my contract. Very sneaky to not mention that fee. Next time I move, I won't be using UHaul.

I wish the intitial time to fill out the info was shorter as I had to be somewhere in a short time and the clerk took a longtime to get us registered and to give us the key and he also told us the wrong info as to where the vehicle was located. Other than that everything else was smooth

The customer service was very poor and the manager was very rude. The overall service was the worse, I rented a 26" truck when I got there they didn't have it and they gave me a 20" truck and told me to just make extra trips if needed meanwhile I'm paying for that mileage for the extra trips, while I'm was driving out Noone to help direct you out of a very tight spot and the tire bust on there premises while I'm trying to maneuver the truck on my own, then they told me to call road side assistance because whether I'm on the road or on there premises I would have to call them myself, also I have to pay for the tire, plus when I realize my time was running out waiting over 2hrs for roadside assistance to come, i ask to get another truck and the manager says no, the young lady at the counter told me to call customer service for help when I did they said that they can't do anything it is up to the manager at the store discretion and if I go somewhere else on my own my credit card will be charged. When I returned the truck they charge my credit $243 for the tire and I had insurance on the vehicle but according to them it doesn't cover tires!!! Worse experience in my life, I wouod not recommend anyone to Uhaul

Tell the truth to customers Supply decent vehicles that are maintained Don't harass the customer for your petty gain The reserved size truck did not exist so I was forced to take smaller unit I could have has 20 miles closer to home at $2/mile Your truck had no Airconditioning, transmission problem and non functioning airbag This list is very long and after my ordeal I don't think Uhaul is worth my time!

The trailer was dirty and left a film of dirt on my things. Also I drove through heavy rains and dirt from the door caused dirt to be splashed onto my things. I guess in general in the future I would hope the van Trailers be cleaned more thoroughly. Also, there should be more emphasis online about the electrical connection for the trailer lights. This should be stresses much more like the hitch capacity was and had a video. There was little heads up about the electrical connection.

Very pleased with this uhaul experience compared to previous experiences from different locations. Very fast and efficient but through. For my future moving needs I will definitely be returning to this location.

Driver side door lock didn't open by key or key fob. Had to open from passenger side. The van was clean but not completely, it was easily usable though. Please fence the property with iron grills which will improve neighborhood look as well as property look and driver will have it easy to figure where to exit property. This location had higher mileage price than elmont. Other than that everything was great including customer service.
