Very poor communication and rude and lazy employee. Didn't call or text me in advance when they already knew my reserved truck is not gonna be available at 10AM on 7/30 because the previous customer extended their rent on 7/29. They made me a new reservation for 5PM which was already very inconvenient for me but they still said it is uncertain that I'm gonna get my truck back at 5Pm. When I went to the office again at 3PM on the same day, I asked to check if my truck is gonna be available at 5pm and call the customer who is currently using the truck whether he or she is gonna extend the rent or not. And the rude employee confronted that she is not gonna call or do anything before 5pm because my reservation is 5pm. And she said â€œI'm done talkingâ€ and she left the front desk. First of all, my original reservation was 10Am and they changed it because of shortage of trucks and then the employee didn't even attempt to find availability of trucks beforehand after all this inconvenience for me. I think the employee needs new education or training for dealing with customers because I've never seen an employee who just leaves the site when customer is in there asking for help. And the manner she showed was very rude and unpleasant. I would not recommend this place if you need to deal with this employeeseokhyun J.

I was over charged by 400.00 which I can't get in contact with anyone to get a refund. Not only that but was hit with 2 more charges when I dropped off the rentalRICHARDO JR H.
I returned my 20' truck at this location and the place was very clean, spacious, friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a bummer is the guy before us was told to come to this location to rent his truck but when he got there they didn't have his truck and sent him to another location. He didn't have a ride so we gave him a ride to other location. That's the only thing about UHaul that kind of stinks is that you plan to pick your truck up at a specific location, at a specific time, and they can change that location pickup the day before. It's just the way it rolls!!! But overall, I will use UHaul every time!!Kristen H.

Computer system is very slow and not inefficient. The attendant had to keep starting over because it would restart on him. I was there for over an hour. It would also be helpful to be open for the office longer than 7pm. It was an inconvenience multiple times. Checking in was fine. Checkout is where the problem was. We were asked to remove the trailer ourselves and â€œput it back where we got it.â€ Then I see I was charged double for a late return. Horrible customer service.KYLEM M.
First, the following does not reflect on the employees at this pickup location. The gentleman there was beyond helpful with the situation that was handed to us and did the best he could with what was available. The logistics of picking up my equipment were a nightmare. After scheduling a move between cities with a morning pickup a full month in advance, we were told one day before that equipment wouldn't be available until 2pm 20 min further out of our way. After calling back we scheduled a pickup 45 min further away for the morning. When we got there we were told the only reason that we even had a truck (they double booked it) was because someone else was late for their pickup. Sheer luck at someone else's misfortune. It seems that U-Haul only cares about maximizing the use of their equipment and not if those scheduling pickups even get what they reserved. On top of that, it seems like there is fine print after fine print for the so called $50 guarantee for not having equipment available which is nowhere to be found on the website even though it is immediately talked about by reps in person when booking your truck and signage touting it. I will not be using U-Haul service at any point in the future again after this experience.Daniel T.

Corporate should allow messages to be saved at the local office and the whole EZ Pass fiasco that is "managed" by corporate needs to be improved!!! I stopped in a few weeks ago to reserve a storage unit, and the process was simple. However, when I showed up yesterday there was no reservation to be found. The person helping me (I think her name was Stephanie) got me set up with a storage unit pretty quickly and got me one in a good location, so no harm done. The "hold time" in trying to reach the call center was way way too long. The first call was at least a 30 minute wait, and the customer service rep failed to extend my rental for an extra day as requested. I was given what I thought was the direct number to the Thompson Road facility, but that went again to a call center somewhere. another 20 minute wait,MICHAEL D.
The truck wasn't ready when I got to the location but the staff was quick to clean it and get it ready. However, the last time I used this location they charged me for a 2 day rental for being just a few minutes late. I didn't realize this until after the fact. Also they charged me an additional fee for cleaning. I made sure to sweep the cabin and box before returning.MATT V.

I am so glad I chose UHaul of Carrier Circle for my dropoff and storage rental. When we first arrived an employee came out to help us get the truck into the loading dock. He was right there when we needed him. The starting odometer reading we had was incorrect so the mileage was off by 10,000 miles. Jack was wonderful, did not give us a hard time and solved the issue quickly. Just what we needed after two long days of packing, moving and driving. For my last rental I used online reservation. When I returned the vehicle I was immediately met outside by Mr. Johnson who processed the return in just a few minutes. The storage facility is clean, well-maintained, climate controlled and so convenient! It has been the best thing about this move. Thanks Mr. Johnson!Pele N.

I am a 64 year old Female, and I had to rent for the first time, and drive a 10 ft truck from Albany to Syracuse - Thruway and main roads. I went to the Taft Rd. location and my trailers lights were not working so they sent me to carrier circle and said they would call over to have me registered. I arrived and they had no record of who I was so we had to restart the process and then was given the wrong trailer. This took two hours from start to finish and I ended up paying more for a trailer I did not want but could not switch the trailer because of a commitment I was not running late for.David S.

Between the facility and the customer service line, I was overall annoyed by the service. I just needed to cancel and get a refund on a storage unit I no longer needed. The first call center rep I spoke to sent a msg to the facility, the facility never reached back out to me. I called back, the next rep blind transferred me to another rep after being on the phone with me for 10 minutes, then the next rep blind transferred me as well. I went to the facility, the rep at the desk did not know how to cancel a storage unit reservation. I've never worked for Uhaul but I was able to walk him through the dashboard to cancel/refund. I was very disappointed in the fact that I was required to pay for the complete month when we only were in the unit for 6 days of the month. I realize it probably is covered somewhere in the small print of the contract. But to me is a very dishonest business practice to charge for time not used. I have no complaints about the staff. Both of my visits to the facility they have been helpful and professional. It also appears to me to be a well kept facility. My only complaint is that both times I have gone they seem to be having system issues causing everything to move very slowly, having to re-enter information because the system is not cooperating, etc. This lead to long wait times and I have to imagine your employees and other customers get frustrated.
