I WANT to like this Uhaul location. It is conveniently located for me and is a physically nice facility. This is my 2nd time using this location to rent a truck for local use. ONCE AGAIN, the staff of this location did not treat me professionally or respectfully as a customer. A different staff member assisted me this time but with the same negative attitude - impatient with any question I had, abrupt and "edgy" with her explanations of the check out process, generally NOT a nice or pleasant demeanor. I did not feel good or appreciated about being a customer and with the $$$ I spent, I regret using this Uhaul location once again. I realize today's racial relations and dynamics in our country are strained but, as a white customer, it felt like the non-white staff were taking their frustrations out on me. I have worked in a very diverse career field for many years and this behavior would never be tolerated. Oh well, do it once - shame on you. Do it twice - shame on me. I won't be back to this location again and will share my review through other online sites. And there are many other truck rental companies other than Uhaul to choose from. 24 hours prior to pick up I received a call telling me my pickup time was moved from 9 to 9:30. Because I had employed movers through U-Haul, I had to call them and ask them to delay start. Arrived at site at 9:30 only to learn truck was not there. Only then did they call previous renter asking when they would arrive and learned it was on its way. When I asked Woman at counter how long to turn around truck, she became rather rude and said she didn't know, depends how dirty truck was, how busy she was and I would have to take up any grievances with the previous renter as it was out of her control. I have used U-Haul quite a few times and every time there was a problem, the agents have bent over backwards to make it right, until this experience. I will not use this location again in future.Michael D.

First let me say that the location on vickers was great and the staff was excellent. I reserved a Uhaul for an 8 am pick up at a different location. I went to pick it up at 9 am and they had given it away. I think it's absolutely crazy that I made a reservation well in advance, put a credit card down, and my reservation was basically worthless. We moved this weekend so it was already stressful enough. If you could pass this along to corporate I would appreciate it. I will be doing my best to avoid renting from Uhaul ever again if I can help it. I heard one of your commercials later in the day saying how committed you are to your customers and it's ridiculous. When I called customer service they kept justifying that it was the e weekend, it's the busy season, etc. None of that justifies giving away the reservation. Also I called the day prior to make sure I understood how to use my cell phone for checking in and to review the whole process and it was never mentioned that I had to be there BY 8am. Again, I'll be avoiding UHaul at all costs and warning others of the same.KATELYN O.

Pads are excessive. A dozen per container is more than enough - an issue dealing with the unused. Software for UBox is awful. Reaching someone knowledgeable is VERY difficult with call forwarding to a truck rental / not container rental center. Example - I filled containers one at a time at origin, so separate contracts. Combining them for delivery is a hands on chore - not available to the customer. Pricing for returrn delivery reflects shows as if delivering in my case three empty boxes plus delivery fee - not just the delivery fee as expected. When finally reaching someone it's "yeah, don't worry about it" though it shows an extra $225 will be charged to my card. Scheduling arrival is a mystery until half way through the date of delivery. Impossible to coordinate with movers this way. Route should be committed 48 hours in advance to allow customer a chance to schedule THEIR side with paid labor. Again, people are all nice, well meaning, but culture is all wrong for a delivery service. It's apparent primary business is having customers come to them and handle their own details after getting rental trucks.Jim H.

We booked movers through the UHaul when we reserved our truck (in person). We came back a week later to move the truck and movers up one day. To our surprise the movers did not have us down for the rescheduled day. They still had us scheduled for the original date. We also were not adequately informed as to how the process worked with coordinating with the moving company. What actually happened was we should have received an email requesting information. It went to our SPAM folder but since UHaul told us the movers would CALL us we didn't look for an email. Since we didn't hear from the moving company we called them a few days prior to confirm. They rescheduled our moving day and they arrived that day and did a great job.John H.

Although the vehicle overall was clean, the windshield was quite dirty inside and out to the point that my vision was impaired as I drove in to the late afternoon sun. There was a problem with the climate control - it was not working while I was there in July and August. Wine stored there was ruined and I was unable to sort through the belongings as needed because working in the heat made me ill. A repairman was there but the problem was not resolved.
