Being a Senior Citizen I was unable to read the contract I was signing until I got home and could use a magnifying glass, so I did not notice, until then, that I had been over-charged the "per mile" fee for the van I rented. The website had stated it was $0.59 cents per mile for Wednesday's yet I was charged $0.79 cents per mile. I told the man whom checked me out that I did not have internet service on my phone when he told me to use my phone to check the van back in when I turn it, if it is after hours. He said nothing about using my laptop when I got home. The only other thing he said was to be sure to fill it with gas before I return it. They close at 7pm and I was at a gas station a few blocks away at 6:45pm to fill the van, when I saw just above the gas tank cap a sign that stated to "use E85". I had no idea what E85 was and neither did the guy that worked at the station. I was the only customer so I could not ask anyone else there. I called CV Uhaul and got the recording which stated the staff were busy helping other customers and would answer the phone shortly, so I waited. At 7:06pm I gave up waiting for Uhaul staff guessing they had already left the building. So I texted a friend to find out what E85 is. I found out the fuel Uhaul want in the van was Ethanol, not the Unleaded their website states vans use. I had to drive five miles in the opposite direction to get to the specialty gas station to get the Ethanol. Since I returned the van after 7pm and did not do the online check out Uhaul charged me an extra days charge. When I saw that charge along with the overcharge for the mileage, I called Uhaul CV. The woman was willing to give me a $20 credit for not doing the online checkout but refused to correct the overcharge for the mileage. So I said I would be contacting my credit card company to file a complaint. Then she said she was removing the $20 credit she had given me for the online checkout since I was filing a complaint. So I ended up paying $100 for that $19.95 rental van for one days use! Certainly NOT worth it! Go to ANY competitor but DO NOT COME HERE!

The call center continues to screw up the reservations. No matter the location in CA. There are always multiple mistakes in getting the details correct. one way or round trip. number of miles. etc. Very frustrating. If not for the location staff at each location. I would take my business to a competitor. I hope the call center can get some needed training and follow up. My specialty is problem solving. NOT that difficult. This is truly a system issue. When will it get fixed???

Employees have shitty attitudes. Hate their jobs. Passive-aggressive and unnecessary bullshit. Employee named Nina or Mina, not sure, was just short with me and unhelpful. Just worried about going home. I was told on the phone that the location would connect my wiring for me. After completing the transaction which took forever, the assistant manager walked out and started looking for my connector. I explained that corporate said they would hook up the wiring.. The guy jerks the dolly off my hitch and just got rudely says "can't rent it to you". I said what about hooking up my wiring? He says "no, you gotta go come back next week some time." I explained I needed to be in news Mexico the next day to pick up a car. He said "you don't have a connector". I said "who here can connect one?" He just said you gotta make an appointment for next week some time. I said to the female employee, "can I just use my RV and tow with that? I can come back today". Her response was "if you want". Like I was wasting her time and might make her stay late. I returned 20 min before closing. By the time they redid the entire transaction it was almost closing time. They pulled out the dolly, hitched it up, plugged the connector in half ass and said "it not working, youre not renting it today" and yanked the dolly away again and put it back in storage while I'm telling him to try it again and plug it in correctly. They female employees grabbed her backpack and clocked out while in standing there trying to get them to let me plug it in myself. They obviously just wanted to get the hell out of there. They next day I come back with my other vehicle which had the proper connector installed and it was in working order. The same assistant manager was there, he began helping other customers who came after it showed up so it let him know I was needed to get on the road to new Mexico. He rudely grabbed a dolly and hitched it up to, connected the plug and asked me to press the brake. He said "it's not working, you can't rent thus today."and yanked the damn thing off my vehicle for the THIRD TIME. I said wait! Let me try it, I know it works". He just ignored me and walked away. I pulled out my voltmeter and checked the wiring, it was perfectly fine. I walked back in and said "hey this wiring is working fine, you must not have plugged it in properly AGAIN" He rushedly just hooked everything up and FINALLY told their truth, that my lighting was working fine. Meanwhile I'm was an entire day late in getting to myself destination because of the unprofessional, unhelpful, bitchy employees who have don't give a shit about customer service. What a shit show that place is, never again. Heading over to yelp to let others know.

They were very friendly and helpful and I was able to pick up my truck right away and when I returned it, the gentleman that checked it in was quick and efficient. I wish I remembered his name but he was very professional.

Ricardo Zaragoza the general manager was really rude to all costumers specially to me. Due to the COVID-19 he didn't senitized the cab. I have no idea why he needed two contact numbers names and last? I told him many times that I don't have two friends or family members in the US, but he didn't believe me. He took more than one hour of my time. That was really frustrated time for me. I he someone talk to him and teaches him how should be costumer service. Thanks

The only issue I had was with the online check in process. Not only did it take longer, but the truck was blocked and there is no option to state that, you have to select cannot find truck...how are we supposed to know that? Also, when they request an alternate contact, they do not tell you that person will be contacted and if they do not answer, they do not process your request and you have to start all over again, once again, how are we supposed to know that! Process needs to be improved so it clearly let's renters know exactly what will happen with each step. One last issue was that I completed the online registration at the time of the reservation and uploaded my drivers license to save time....well, whether you do online check in on at the counter, they ask you to do it again so a total waste of time!

This is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained storage facility I have ever seen. The staff has always been helpful I have always been able to get a parking spot and the hours are perfect.If I ever need a storage facility again I will be coming here without a doubt.

On the phone they told me I had to take what they had and only 450 miles any over it was 40 cents a mile . Then as I picked it up they told me 75 cents a mile . She tried to rip me off . Bad business
