The phone verification with two additional people that you will return the vehicle took a large amount of time during pick-up. It would be great if customers could provide the references a few days beforehand (and could be approved before the day of pickup) so that the actual rental pickup would only entail the vehicle inspection and payment.Matthew J.

I did everything online and used my company credit card and also was asked to upload my drivers license. When I got there I had to stand in line and verify everything all over again and then provide a credit card payment. It was very frustrating to repeat the check in process when I thought that it was supposed to be easier with putting my information online. The girl that helped me was quite rude but I have to admit I was upset so I was pretty rude to her as well.GLENDA F.
Though busy, the crew worked hard to keep the line moving and people happy. I've used this location a number of times in the past and, after yesterday's experience, I will continue to do so. I would recommend this location without hesitation. Of course, it doesn't hurt that you have a USMC Retired Devil Dog as the store manager which explains why the store is so squared away. I'm a frequent UHaul customer using them for my business. So i'm familiar with the process of reserving equipment etc.. Most of the time, I'm pretty satisfied with service overall. This store took 45min to get me a trailer that I had already reserved in advance. The rep for some reason re-entered all my info that I had previously entered online (to save time). When I dropped off, it took 10-15min even though there was no other customers to wait on. The entire team there seems like they lack leadership. I will not be using this location in the future.RYAN H.
Get rid of Isabel mendez. I do a lot of business with you guys. I never have had an issue at this location in 9 years. I have gotten to know all the different people over the years. I always buy the insurance and have never damaged a truck or trailer. Her customer service skills and attitude are horrendous and I refuse to deal with her. I always have filled or fueled things before returning. Including the rental from 2 days ago. She helped me this morning and we verified the fuel. She wants to gauge me out of 80 extra dollars for fuel after I fueled it to the agreed amount. Nick at this location knows me pretty well as do a few others. In fact we joked about some stuff today while I was there. I will still use this location but I will never deal with her again for anything . I would also point out how I've never received a discount for All the extra fuel I have topped off in these trucksâ€¦. Which is fine, I went 30 miles today and put 25 dollars in the tank. She thinks that still merits 80 dollars in charges being added.CHRISTOPHER M.
You movers never showed up and I had to pay for a truck that I did not use. The truck latterly went from the lot to the office we were moving out of and NO MOVERS that were paid for showed up or answered my calls. I tried for hours with no luck. We drove the truck back to U-Haul and the manager would not do anything to help us out. WILL NOT USE U-HAUL AGAINTyson H.

I keep having an issue with the drop off process online just like last time I had a uhaul. This time - For about 40+ minutes I sat in the uhaul trying to drop it off after hours and use online check in.... every time I pressed "share location" it would start normal fill in odometer and fuel then take a photo showing it - when I would take a photo and press "okay" my screen would reload back onto the "share your location" button. I did it about 7+ times over and over. Then I used my girlfriends phone who kept saying she hadn't shared location privileges but she checked her setting and had. Anyway I had to drop it off and took photos but am trying to find an email to send them too since I couldn't turn it in properly with the online thing because it kept glitching.LINDSAY F.
I rented the uhual for lake forest which was 5 minutes from the house we were moving from. At 3pm when I was going driving to pick up the uhual I was informed I needed to go to Costa Mesa which is 40 minutes from where I was. I had to drive 40 minutes there and 40 minutes to the house just to pick up the uhual. The Jeronimo location was the most unprofessional and ridiculous location ever. I will NEVER rent a uhual from there again. I couldn't believe the customer service and situation. I ended up having to work an extra 2 hours into the night with a 1 year old and 4 year old and return it at 12:30am because of the situation.JOSE P.

I was charged a $25.00 cleaning fee for the dozen furniture pads. The furniture pads were not in need of cleaning. The attendant said the fee was to fold the furniture pads. I feel, after paying a $20.00 rental fee, an additional cleaning fee is gouging the customer.LINDA H.

I was upset to see inappropriate drawings done on the exterior of the truck. There were swastikas and inappropriate drawings that offended me a lot. These drawings should be removed or covered up before they allow a customer to take the truck out. I wish I could be refunded because this really upsets me.MICHELLE N.

The worse customer service I have experienced, I was aksed to return truck in 3 hours when I specifically noted on the reservation for 6 hours. Three hours in LA traffic we all know that this is not enough time to get to location of loading and to the destination of unloading. And let's not forget that you still need to stop and get gas and drive back to drop off. So please train you staff appropiately and ask them not to be rude your customers. One more note please do a better job at maintaining your box trucks, not only do trucks run bad, the trucks just waste too much fuel.Hersel O.

I tried the pick up by mobile, but thete were employees who would not allow me to look where the trucks were parked, so why even offer the mobile service if i can't go to the truck? I only used the trailer for one day but I paid for two without refund and I was charged an after-hours fee which no one informed of beforehand. I either should have paid the two-day rate and not been charged an after-hours fee or I should have been charged one day and the fee, or just one day without the fee.ADAM M.
