The U-Haul website lists a location on Market St. in Downtown St. Louis. Try as I might I could not find it. I have a feeling that location moved to Tucker so maybe update your website to provide up to date accurate information.

Truck malfunction about 2 hrs before Vegas,(1:30 am) got ok from service rep to drive the unit all the way to Vegas. We're doing 40 mp on freeway, afraid truck could die in the middle of no where or been run over by other vehicles!!

The entire process was terrible. I called uhaul which quoted me 112 dollars. The representative then gave me the wrong truck. Following calling back, i was then quoted at 170 dollars. Then two days before my date to move they called back and switched pick up locations, which forced me to rent a larger truck which cost 215 dollars. All in all, terrible experience. Will not use uhaul again.

The entire experience was great. The van (and driver) we had lined up for eclipse day simply never showed up (still haven't heard from him). The location didn't have a pickup but did have a van, same day, no problems, and all of our equipment fit. (In fact, there was about three times as much room as we really needed.) Return took seconds, no issues. Only minor thing was that the amount of fuel and mileage in the computer didn't *quite* match what the truck really had when I left (off by 2 miles and 1/8 of a tank). They manually fixed it for me. A+++ would lose van and driver again.

The staff was excellent. Everything was great until I was robbed of $10.50 because I was "a hair" under half a half when returning the vehicle. What a quick way to ruin someone's experiece for 10 bucks. It couldn't have been more than a gallon of gas at best.

Was instructed to return trailer to 2500 Ohio Ave. St. Louis MO. DON'T USE THIS LOCATION. The location was a deserted warehouse. No signage or product to indicate it was a Uhaul drop location. Found another location on GPS...418 S Tucker BLVD...location and service was excellent.

I've used this location twice and it's very convenient, quick, and the equipment is always in great condition. However, both times, I've returned the truck after hours and it's nearly impossible to figure out where I'm supposed to park.

I did not have a full tank of gas in my truck, when I put gas in I returned it with a full 1/4 tank more than when I received the truck. I was also not comped for the extra gas that I put in. This truck has a very large gas tank and I put an extra $20 more than I should. I would like either a visa $20 gift card or re-imbursement to my credit card.

James was terrific in installing the tow bar. The people who did the checkout where polite and helpful. One suggestion would have been to ensure I knew how to detach and attach the trailer, since I wound up needing service (head gasket blew) and the garage said it was my responsibility to do that. I figured it out, but it took a while.

Stop promoting Moving Help because they are thieves. The company Express Movers powered by U-Haul stole the 26 ft truck, most of my property, and damaged the remainder. I did not retrieve the truck until approximately 5-days later, and it is a warrant out for the owner of the moving company Express Movers powered by U-Haul arrest. The individual was rude to my fiance and I, and were not compassionate to the traumatic experience we continue to feel the residual effects from.

The customer service at this location is exceptional! In particular I'd like to commend Jake Langford. We've been Uhaul customers for several years now and we were most pleased with how he handled our reservation and the dilemma we encountered after finding out the wiring had to be completely re-done in order for our trailer to be installed. He made the wait and cost as pain free as possible, kept us updated and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely recommend Jake and this location to friends and family. Tiy Lewis

I put my credit card up to hold the truck and when i return i paid cash for the truck on 06/30/17 for $42.39 but you have a charge of $81.00 on my credit card 7 days later what going on i call bank and they said it should have credits my card back in 2 to 3 days

Ways quoted a completely different price over the phone than in person. I was not told about this extra charge but was informed that getting it was a requirement. Luckily I had the extraaoney but for the future you need to tell customers ALL the information when they ask. These people were very unprofessional!

Its old vehicle, and its the first time I'm driving such a big truck. U-Haul attendant had no long time at all to explain about the truck. I have asked couple of questions - for that also, he didn't answer properly. While driving, I had the hard time to get the key out and handling the transmission (drive, reverse). I would recommend, u haul should have some instructions on driving the trucks.

They did a great job mounting the trailer on my uhaul truck. However my story began when I picked up the uhaul, none of my information transferred from my initial reservation so I had to repeat this process, then I brought the uhaul home for packing the next morning and returned to uhaul located on kingshighway to pick up my trailer which apparently had been double book and was now gone. I had to go to the downtown (tucker) location to pick up my trailer during rush hour. Due to packing I had not slept for 30 hours, so I get there trailer attached and back through rush hour traffic to the kings highway location to load my car. The men working their guided me and I heard horrifying scrapping noises and they said keep going, I wasn't sure what was happening "just scrapping a little, come on" they assured me it was just the noise the trailer makes when shift the weight onto the trailer. I walk around and looked at my passenger door and could tell that something was not lining up correctly. I knew this would be a problem That would affect the doors ability to open. I was unable to test the door until I arrived in Texarkana when i wanted to drop my car off so I could unload the truck at my new place. I back out, park and they try to jack the trailer up off the hitch but it won't come off, the two kids that worked there tried their best for 25 minutes and couldnt get it off. I'm now 10 minutes late for my movers, and finally the guy who actually has experience comes out and takes it off. Ok so I get to the movers now 30 min late and they move me in. I was distracted and tired but once they finished I noticed they had dragged some of my furniture and the legs to my shelving was belt at 90 degrees all this and an employee offered $50 check by mail HA! are you kidding me, I want to talk to corporate, I should not have to pay for any of these services, I can throw my furniture off a balcony onto my car and achieve the same results myself, please contact me for the repairs to my car. 832-556-9350

This was a clean store the coustomer service reps were pleasant. This was the second time I have used UHaul but I used a van so there were things I wish the reps would have informed me of, like I did not know about the let down walking gadget that made it so easy to walk up to the truck. The rep could not adjust the mirror for me and nobody explain the "tow:" light to me and I think UHaul should make it a point to inform the consumer of everything that would make the driving experience safe and easy!

I checked in online and showed up and waited in line with the four same people for 30 minutes. There was originally one worker at the desk, but he left to go do something. Then another guy walked in and asked if we had already been helped and, when we said no, he said ok someone should be in here soon and proceeded to sit down at the computer for a few minutes. No one had any sense of urgency to get anywhere or help anyone and we had a 5 hour drive after loading the trailer. I didn't appreciate the nonchalant attitude that the manager had and that he just ignored everyone in line while he was doing something else. Some explanation or just saying "I'll be with you in just a minute, I have to finish something first" would have been sufficient. Then, as we are driving our of the lot with the trailer, he flags us down and says he need to change a light or something on the trailer, which took another 5 minutes. I was very disappointed with the wait time and wouldn't ever choose this location or recommend it to anyone.

There was an overwhelming amount of people waiting at 9am to pick up their rentals, and only 2 employees doing the checking in and trailer/truck part. Kudos to the assistant manager though, he was checking in 2 people at once and flying through everything.

There are no signs showing where to park the returning truck after hours. Put some better signs up! Other than that, very easy and appreciated. Thanks for the easy return.

When I picked up a car dolley it was the only one they had and they were in the process of replacing the straps. I was told I would have to wait for the straps to be replaced before I could take the car dolley, not a big deal. When they were finished with the strap replacement they brought the dolley out and hooked it to my truck. Once hooked up the lights wouldn't work. The employee automatically assumed it was a faulty plug or fuse on my vehicle and had me tear apart my dash so he could test all my fuses. After testing all my truck's fuses and then testing my 4 pin connector, which all tested good, he decided to test the lights on the trailer itself. Come to find out, the wiring on the trailer was messed up and I had to wait another 20 minutes for him to replace the trailer wiring. I do not recommend this location if you value your time.

Please change your online system to only allow for reservations to be made where the equipment is available. I made my reservation for Cape Girardeau only to receive a phone call the day before telling me I couldn't get my equipment from that location and had to drive the truck 2 extra hours to ensure I could have it when I needed it.

They saved my move because I arrived 15 minutes early to pick up my truck at the Congress and the young man, who was not in bldg came from around the corner to let me in after I called he then asked, "didn't you just pick up your truck" to which I responded no! To my surprise and dismay he had rented my truck to someone else with my last name. He didn't ask for their driver license or any other information because in his own words, "they paid cash." He didn't bother to change any of my information he handed them the keys to a rental I'm in my name! Just by the grave of God this location had the other persons information because the renter was supposed to pick up the truck at this location. If I had walked to the Congress location, I would have been out of luck but more importantly with identity theft being prevalent this was a very scary matter and I am still concerned

the whole experience was great! new van was very clean and drove like a dream. All the personell were concerned about what i needed,how to use the van,encase of an accident, and unexpected delay of returning the van. they made me feel they could handle any problems i would have. would recommend them highly!!

Make 24 hour drop off area more visible or have more signage. I didn't know where to park my truck after hours. 1-800-GOUHAUL helped me navigate, which is definitely a plus and made me feel safe.

The cargo van was very dirty on the outside. It should've been washed. The location was excellent, clean, spacious and well lit. This is the one of the best location in metro St. Louis, if not one of the best. Other locations should learn from the Downtown St. Louis store.

I'm a regional commercial contractor, uhaul is my go to place for moving things both business and personal (maybe 8 times a year for the past 3 years) . This was a personal home move for me. I moved from Northwoods (70 @ jenningstation rd) 7.2 miles from pick up location to Lafayette Square (tucker @ park) 8 miles from Northwoods.. Went to the quicktrip to add $10 gas (Chouteau @ Jefferson) 1 mile from my new home. Then back to the pick up location... 1 mile! That rounds up to a fair 20 miles.. I checked my receipt today and it said 47 miles?! ?? What? Wait, how. Really at ¢79 a mile! That's so foul no way did that trip take 46 miles. I added it up prior to requesting 20 miles. But I should have taken a pic of the odometer when I got the truck. Long story short. I feel I was ripped off on the milage side. Then the truck I reserved was a 20ft. I was told they only had 15ft trucks available ?! Then why let me reserve a 20? I saw a promise to give the customer $50 if their reservation isn't ready.. Well considering I got the wrong size truck because the 20ft I requested wasnt available, I'm saying that my reservation didn't meet the guarantee! I'm just completely dissatisfied with this entire situation. I doubt if I'd use this location again.

First off, I expect to be contacted by someone from Uhaul corporate within the next few days. My experience with this process was less than satisfactory. The facility and management at the ST. Louis location was fine. Although, training is an issue for your staff/team. The staff member that attached our Tow Dolly was poorly trained and my vehicle was damaged. He insisted that the ramps were in correct working order even when I noted, twice, that I believed there was a problem. He instructed me that the ramps were indeed in working order and when he directed me to bring the car up on the ramps, the left ramp failed and the front end of my car landed on the dolly. One wheel up and one wheel down. It was clear that the equipment failed as I suggested it would. Upon inspection, the supervisor of the store was also aware the equipment was faulty and should not have been used. There was not other Tow Dolly on site. Adjusting my travel plans, I had to return to the site the following day to get a properly operating dolly attached and my car loaded. The damage to my car was cosmetic and I did not make a claim. You should be aware that this incident happened and your training should be better. This leads me to the poor training at the drop off facility in other comment area.

I called to say I was going to arrive less than two minutes after 7pm ( the store closing time) but was told I would just have to pay the extra for the night and have it checked in in the morning. We ended up making it right at 7pm but it just seemed very unhelpful.

I feel I was inconvenienced because i was moving from Ofallon Il to Granite City Il but the places in Il were closed so I came to the downtown St Louis location. I asked the associate if he could speak to the manager about working with me on the mileage since half the mileage was driving from St Louis to Offallom. I feel I should have been giving a discounted rate and only pay for half on the mileage used. I've used uhaul several times over the years and have also referred friends and family to uhaul. I would like to be able to continue a long-term relationship with uhaul if this issue is addressed.
