Really appreciate the support on finding a bigger truck for the storage transfer after canceling the original order which was smaller than expected. 17' Truck made the trips more worthwhile as opposed to original 15' truck which would've been 3-4 trips instead of 2. The distance reading was incorrect and the equipment return person was giving all sorts of excuses including photo proof. Very unprofessional. George is amazing but he wasnt there during equipment retrun,RAMESH A.
I was charged an additional day because I was 10 minutes late. I was very disappointed in their customer service. I was not made aware of the extra charges until I read them on my receipt at home. I gassed up, I washed the truck and nothing was was mentioned about additional charges. I would be happier with an adjustment made to my card.PATRICIA A.

The uhaul associate gave my trailer away to the person RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! It left me to getting a trailer 1/4 of the size and have to make multiple trips. So terrible to cancel my reservation, sell my trailer and then NEVER APOLOGIZE or try to correct the situation. I had made an online reservation, which was NOT UPHELD. IT WAS CANCELLED, and I received NO NOTIFICATION! Until I was standing in front of the associate, who was giving away the trailer I reserved!MARAH D.

The pickup location staff did a good job, but the call center did not meet expectations, and the online website was horrible. The absolutely most annoying part of the rental experience was getting constant useless messages while on 40 minute hold times to go to the website and do the transaction there. This treats customers like you think they are stupid and you want to get rid of them. The truth is that your online system is deficient and unusable for some transactions and your own call center cannot even get it to work.RICHARD P.

Our trailer got ants - the staff didn’t know if pest control was used ever or when the last time was. Debris like nails and other construction material were everywhere. Depending on who answers the phone. Whether it be a call center or the actual location personnel when you call directly into the Dublin Ca rental location....please have your team members ALL give out the same information. We rented a truck with our President's American Express at time of initiating the rental agreement over the phone with Employee Logan who said he was onsite at this Dublin location. I asked him if we would have a problem since my President would not be at U-Haul picking up if we could do a credit card authorization form or send a copy of our credit card. Logan said Yes we will take the photo copy at the office. Whelp, my associate got to the Dublin U-Haul office this morning and could not use the credit card I gave over the phone even though we had the printout just as Logan had advised us to do. We understand that all business are short handed and that sometimes lines get crossed. But when something is stated that it is verified then we should be able to go off that verified and accurate comment from the company that we are doing business with. Highly disappointed with how today was handled even when calling back to this location.Michael E.

No one did a damage/ how to operate walkaround with me. The ratcheting strap assembly I could not figure out. They seemed worn/loose/binding. I did not know about the folding fender until after I had driven the car onto the trailer could not open the car door, backed down off the trailer and scratched my head for a minute or two. This location is by far the BEST in the area. I tried to use the Livermore location and was left frustrated and will NEVER go back there - even though it is closer. I rent U-Haul all the time for work and will only use the Dublin (Scarlett) location.JULIANN C.

when I rent the truck gas level was more than 1/2 tank but it's not full. Due to that, after using the truck, it's hard to fill the gas to the given level. So if you give truck with full tank to your customers. They will use the truck and fill it to full.VENU S.

Two issues where I had to change to a different storage unit when the one I reserved was overrun by ants. When the employee made the change she accidentally moved me out of my other storage unit. The storage unit was just what i needed! It served the purpose for a safe contained space while i needed it. Staff were almost always there at the counter to help customers, which is to say I rarely had to wait for service. When I did have to wait for a staff person to return to the counter, it usually wasn't for very long. The younger staff are not friendly, but they do their job. I would have rated this 5 stars but wasn't informed of how to properly move out of my unit. I told the Uhaul employee in person that I was moving out of my storage unit on the 7th when I rented a truck to do so. I asked if he could cancel my reservation of the unit and if I needed to do anything else. I was told no. The next day my bank account was charged for the unit and I had to submit a cancellation through the website. I wasn't told that I would need to take further steps else be charged for the unit and so I am very unhappy and will be filling a claim with my bank for the return of my $114.Tiffany L. | Overall Experience
