It would have helped knowing approximately where to leave the trailer after hours. The El Centro lot is pretty good sized and the directions were not specific (don't block other vehicles or don't park in the check-in lane). This leaves a lot of space to choose from and may not yield the intended results. I thought I left the trailer in a good location and yet is wasn't obvious to U-Haul staff the next morning.

Rent the u hauls for the actual 24 hrs, I was only allowed to rent it for 6hrs Becuz it was the beginning of the month and still got charged 120$.

Had reservations for a 9:00 pick up, when I arrived I was told that uhaul had not been turned in, I had to wait an hour before my uhaul was ready. I had already scheduled helpers for 9 o'clock. I was disappointed..

Not happy I Reserved a 26 Truck a week before and appliance dolly .. The same day of pick up they change my location of pick up and gave me a smaller truck 20 and they did not have the appliance dolly that I needed and had Reserved so I had to pay more on milage due to a smaller truck

Very disappointing!. I asked for a 5x8 trailer. It took almost a week to get it confirmed. When the dispatcher called me back it said I would have to go 65miles away to get the trailer, WHY? when the local retailer is less than 4 miles from my home? El Centro was only 45 miles away, AND it was a smaller trailer at that, & the trailer was hard to control due to its size. [the staff at the El Centro Store were very helpful & pleasant to deal with.} I will be needing another trailer so I guess now I either use a competitor or call 4 weeks in advance.

All three gentlemen that assisted me where fantastic. I went into the Yuma Az store to inquire and he made my reservation for me and assisted me greatly. The person that rented me the trailer and the one that checked me upon my return were fantastic. Great experience!

Price changed because I moved reservation a day. I was already paying almost double normal rate. Rental is usually 189 to 200. All across country except for san diego county. That's my only complaint.

I had wanted my U-Box dropped off at my house & then picked up again. Instead I had to rent a truck & do it myself. Fortunately I have some experience towing 18-ft trailers, unfortunately shorter trailers are actually harder to back up. I recognize that this was all probably due to COVID-19, but you gave me the chance to vent so I'm taking it. Also, I wish you sold those cheap work gloves in a smaller size for women as they were too bulky for me. Oh yeah, & I had to go back to get another hitch ball as the 1st one was set too high to get it under the hitch - luckily the store was only a half mile from my new house. Otherwise the staff was fine, & any damage to my stuff was very obviously because I didn't pack it right - I should have put the plastic bins full of books on the bottom. But that brings up another issue - there could be more hooks for tie-down straps in the U-Box. Also I think I got to have the U-Box in my driveway for a couple of weeks without paying rent on it, so that was nice. I've rented U-Haul trucks for 2 previous moves & probably took a bit too long to return them, & you folks have always been good about not penalizing me for that.

The manager was excellent and above and beyond.of his service to this branch. I thank you Sir! The front counter person was awfull with " NO " courteousness, welcoming and respect to my presence. I could not say more praise to the manager who handled my transaction during my checking out , Mr Agustin Zamora. GOD BLESS YOU ! I could have given10 stars to this branch but due to the attitude of this front person to non local renters and his attitude to not want to help me during my critical need of service, ZERO stars to him where he works. It is his un professional attitude who gave me the worst kind of service I ever had with a UHAUL employee.... He should not be there to represent you uhaul !!!

My experience with your company has been terrible. For starters, I made reservations for the U box for June 14. Later on, I called to make changes to the date to pick up the boxes a couple days earlier, June 12. The CSR told me the changes were made. Days later, I checked my reservation online and saw that the dates weren't changed. I had to call again to make sure the changes were made so that I could pick up the boxes on the 12th. With the changes made on the 12th, I was advised that the boxes would be delivered and arrive to Florida by July 1st. When I picked up the boxes from the California location, the staff at the store was friendly and helpful. They provided good service as they got me my boxes and helped load and connect the trailer. This was the only decent experience I had. The rest of my experience was a disaster. After I dropped my boxes off, I received email updates telling me how my boxes had been returned and that they would ship shortly. I then received an email stating that I was going to have to pay $4k for the services, other than the $3k that I was originally quoted when I made the reservation. I had to call customer service again to get this issue resolved. I then continued to receive updates stating that my boxes would arrive in Florida “GUARANTEED” by July 1. Then on July 1, I received an email stating that my boxes were “guaranteed” to arrive July 2. On July 2, I called the Fort Lauderdale location to confirm that my boxes arrived as I kept getting conflicting “guaranteed” emails of the arrival of my boxes. A staff member, known as Leslie, put me on hold for approximately 15 minutes before she came back to tell me that my boxes arrived. During this time, I began to make my trip to South Florida, which is 3 hours from where I was at the time, to pick up my boxes. While I was in transit to pick up my boxes, Leslie calls about an hour and half later to tell me she made a mistake and that my boxes were not there. I asked if she had any idea when they would arrive or if she had any way to contact the driver to verify the location of my boxes. Leslie basically “yea yea'd” me and sounded like she was trying to rush me off the phone by stating she didn't know where they were and she would call me when they come in. She would cut me short whenever I had any question and rushed me off the phone. As I was already on my way to the location, I decided to head to the store location. Once I arrived, Leslie again was rude. I told her I was there about my boxes and that I needed to speak to a manager. Initially she told me the manager was in the back doing something and would be on his way to help. After about 10 minutes, she then said that the manager was off the property doing something and said that he would call me later. She took my number down and told me the manager named Michael would call me when he got back. He never called. I spent the rest of the day calling various customer service numbers trying to get a hold of s

The only issue I had was I moved out of my units (2) on the 2nd of June. I had just paid rent on the 20th of May, but I couldn't get a refund for the time I was early. My situation didn't let me use the whole month I had paid for. That's the way it goes.

I rented a 10 foot truck. 24 hours. I get there This rude punk.Tells me to shut up calls manager. Gives me a 24ft. So I store the stuff there.can’t afford it. You sell everything and I owe you 1000.
