I reserved my truck online. The constant pressuring to sign up for accident coverage as I registered online felt like scare tactic. It greatly lowered my opinion of Uhaul. It was apparent that Uhaul's online registration was using unreasonable tactics to pressure customers to sign up for and spend money on unnecessary coverage.Dale N.

I placed my order through the app and my pick location was changed and equipment I requested was taken off. When I got there I asked for a dolly and the rep told me they didn't have any but they did. I am very I pleased with my order being changed and me not being asked first.Justin G.
The location was fine and customer service was great. The age of the truck had over 95,000 miles on the truck. The steering may need some service because the steering was very loose and you needed to turn the steering wheel a lot to make a normal turn. All four back tires may need air as well. It seemed the truck has seen its better days.Michael M.
I was having trouble with the mobile check-in process, so I went inside to ask for help. The associate (I wish I had gotten her name!) was friendly and knowledgeable. She assisted me with check-in, and explained clearly to check the vehicle mileage and the drop-off process. Her help was indispensable - highly recommend! About the equipment: the van displayed a "change engine oil" message as soon as I started it. It also felt like the tire alignment was off. Regardless of these issues, the van drove well overall, and it was very clean.NICOLE M.

Those working at this location are always very helpful. This is my "go to" location for renting equipment and installing hitches. I never have a need to question the safety of the equipment of any connections. This is a model U-Haul office for every U-Haul business.Rebecca H.

After verifying online that we could reserve a truck at a specific place and time, we were informed via text one hour before scheduled pick up that our place and time had been moved. This delayed several other services from happening on that day. The online check in did not work and the office staff was not helpful in resolving this until we were ready to cancel. We returned the truck on time and according to the office sign someone should have been there. Once again the online check in did not work. We had to call the 1-800 number to properly return the truck and it was marked as 20 minutes late on our receipt. We did everything within our power to hold to the agreement. U-haul did not and made this much more complicated than necessary. I don't believe this is a location specific problem. I feel that U- haul International Inc. needs to do a better job of it's operating procedures.Benjamin V.

When dropping off my equipment it was a hassle. I had 3 pieces of equipment that I rented. This was the last one that I dropped off. When I got there after a full day of dropping equipment at 3 different locations all across town there was a sign that said the customer service rep was gone to the bank. With no expected return time. I was frustrated that I had to wait to drop my equipment off. When she finally returned she was helpful and got me on my way quickly.Amanda B.

Went to first pickup which was on my paperwork. Then they sent me to another place. Gave me wrong address. They loaded trailer at wrong address then had to take it off so I could go to right location. Got to correct place and the trailer had a broken strap on it so had to wait for it to be replaced. We did not appreciate how we scheduled 10 days in advance to pick up our truck from a different location and the day before we were moving we were scheduled to go to a different location at a completely different time. We don't understand what the point of making a reservation is. The worker at our location was very nice, but is not in a safe part of town which is why we specifically requested another location.Henry A.
This location was terrific! The problem is I had a "reservation" at another location. When I got there, they didn't have anything for me!!! I had to drive 40 minutes away so get what was "reserved" at the original location. Reservations obviously don't mean anything! Also, what about the $50 reservation guarantee? I was get to $50 if they didn't have what was reserved. Didn't get that since they found another one - even though it was 40 minutes away. Should have given me my $38 rental for free since I had to go around the world to get it. But like I said, experience at this one location was great.Paula S.

We ordered a hand truck at the same time we reserved the trailer. When we arrived for pickup we were told there were no hand trucks available. We were not notified at the time we made the reservation nor prior to our pickup time. This was extremely inconvenient for us. We had to search various places, which was time consuming, to find a hand truck (and not at a UHaul dealership). Not reliableSCOTT B.

1. I found a *used* facemask on the dash under the window after I drove off the lot. 2. My phone battery died en route to return the vehicle, preventing me from checking in online, and resulted in me having to pay an extra $20 charge for overnight return.John D.

This is not a good part of town. I dropped the unit off and had to take bunch of pictures just so I could return it. This just draws attention to the only white guy around at 7:30 PM Saturday night. This could have be a very dangerous situation. Please don't misunderstand me, the people working there were great - it's the return after-hours process that was really bad.James K.

I placed a reservation a few days before I intended to pick up a van. Fifteen minutes before my scheduled pick up, I get a call from someone at the store saying that my van is not there and I need to call other stores to see if they can help. He was not helpful at all, didn't try to call anyone for me or even give me a number to call. He just said he didn't have anything for me and I was out of luck. I called at least EIGHT different U-Haul stores and no one had any vans or trucks. I had to be moved out the next day. ALSO I reserved a dolly and wasn't able to get one of those either, even though the store that I ended up getting a truck from (by the way, I'd reserved a van and my only option was to get a TWENTY SIX FOOT TRUCK-not at all what I needed!!!!!) had two follows and told me I couldn't use them. I moved from Birmingham to Huntsville and had to bring the dang truck back to Birmingham after moving. The whole situation was a NIGHTMARE and I ended up spending probably $200 more than intended because of all of the nonsense. I do not yet have a job in Huntsville and because of the pandemic, my hours have been cut at my Birmingham job. I had to spend 3/4 of my last paycheck on this. Truly a NIGHTMARE.
