Rented a 15' on confirmation call, no 15' available. Confirmed a 20' At first pick up location told only 26' available. I Rejected this. Asked for other locations that might have a 15 or 20' available. Found one 20 miles away. Final pick up site in valley helpful, after they realized I wasn't going to re-position a 26' truck for them. When we ask for a 15', we don't want a 20' or a 26' If you need repositioning, then pay for the reposition.

Went through the online process to eliminate a trip to the counter, but it didn't work. I was sent to the counter, which had 4 people in line in front of me and one person (at the time) working the counters. Others eventually joined to help clear the backlog of waiting customers. At that point I discovered that my vehicle had not yet been returned. It was due at 9:00am but at 10:30 (when I was finally served) it had not yet arrived. The clerk called the person who mistakenly thought she had 24 hours - 15 minutes later it arrived (now about an hour past my original pickup time). There were no other vehicles available to rent, even larger than the 10' I requested - I checked in the hope of getting on with the move, and the labor that I had standing by waiting for my arrival.

The truck I had reserved wasn't the one I initially rented. The store wss packed but they still came up with a way to ultimately get me the rig I had reserved but it took some time. All in all, the girl who helped me was wonderful. Just frustrating as I had moverz waiting for me at the storage unit and I ended up late and having to pay them for their time.

The Sprague location made me feel uneasy...I returned the vehicle from where I picked it up...due to a family emergencey I was unacle to make the one way trip to Seattle...Kevin the customer agent was mouthy and direct in that I would pay a $ 500.00 fee...another nice customer agent witnessed stepped and helped me...I was directed to call Corprate to find a location that would take the Vehicle...I went to the Indiana Ave location where I was meet by Andra who took me in and most helpful even though her computers were down and in Stressful situation...she handled it flawlessly and with a great positive attitude restoring my confidence in U-Haul!!!

The person I dealt with on the phone before we arrived was rude and uninformative. I told her that I was moving and what I had to store. She simply wanted to "fill" her storage to capacity in order to win some prize because when we arrived, we were told the unit was upstairs! I had household furniture and now I'd have to move it up 8 stairs! She had mentioned that was the last unit when we arrived. Had I known I would have to carry all my furniture and things upstairs, I would have gone with a different location! Then we were forced to purchase locks there because they wouldn't allow ours. It seems uhaul is ALL about making money and not making lasting customers.

We didn't feel good about the tires. The agent said he'd replace them when they came back. We rented a 4x7 open trailer. Got it to our place an hour away and found out the trailer really wasn't a 4x7. When we returned I said to the guy hey this isn't really a 4x7 he laughed and said ya I know. We never used the trailer cuz our item wouldn't fit in it. I was gonna go back into office to talk to them and my husband said after that guy's comment we will just call the head office. Which I did when we got home and they said I had to deal with the office I rented from. Wasn't gonna do that cuz the guy laughed at us. Very disappointed in this

Always cordial, informative, and efficient. Plus good prices.That's why they are always my first go-to for anything to do with hauling. My first time using the trailer wiring since they installed my hitch, and it worked like it should. As a lady on her own, it means SO much to have a place I can trust. Loved the check-in with phone app, so I didn't have to go back inside. Thanks.

The actual facility was absolutely wonderful and very clean with friendly employees. Your call center for customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. I was cold transferred 6 times before I finally gave up and hung up because no one could assist me correctly. Apparently your reps at the downtown U-Haul accepted my drivers license for someone else's name and they didn't pay you (she couldn't have had the real one because I keep all of mine and still have every single one I have ever had) . I don't know how ignorant you have to be to not realize that a license in Washington has the persons name as a part of that number and our names are 0% alike her name is Kerry Hill by the way. Your security and screening procedures are clearly appalling and need to be seriously looked into.

The female that I spoke to was incredibly rude and curt. I asked for the prices of a trailer, and she merely pointed at the wall, then I said, "You mean to tell me that I can get a 6x12 enclosed trailer for $14.95?" She responded with a snort and said no. Then I was motioned like a dog to come follow her outside, I asked where I was supposed to go, she said that she needed to find it first. Then i'm hollered at again, like an animal and I backup to the area. I drag the trailer myself and attach it to the ball on my hitch, because she was having difficulty moving it. Then, I have a spade-type plug for a trailer, your trailers take a 4 plug type. I tell her that I evidently need to buy an adapter, she wanders off, (presumably to find one), and I proceed to re-connect the trailer, (She didn't even twist the chains, and instead let it drape on top of the trailer tongue). She eventually comes back and says "we don't have one, you'll have to go somewhere and buy it, maybe to autozone" So I say fine, and I go to autozone and buy one for $10. I come back and pull up to the same spot where I was parked before, I get out of my truck, and again am "greeted" by her, saying "You need to move, I gotta get in here" I ask her where I should move, she doesn't respond. I then asked the other female employee working this morning if her co-worker was having a rough day, to which she said yes, that they've had some real assholes who were mean for no reason. Then i'm grunted at by the first female, saying that I should go back there now, and am hooked up. When I went to drop off the trailer, there was a semi-truck blocking most of the parking lot. One employee directed me where to park, (A male) and I waited. I waited 15 minutes, then I called the number on my form asking for someone to come out to check me out, and i'm told that he didn't work there, (as if it was a call center) but just answered the phone for them though he'd send them a message and let them know. I wait another 5 minutes and go into the store, there was a single guy checking a couple out, aside from that there were no employees to be found. Then I wait another 5 minutes, (now I've been waiting 25 minutes to drop off the trailer), and he walks outside with me. The first phone he grabs is evidently dead and needed to be charged, so he got another one. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes, i'm disconnected and sent on my way.

I was originally scheduled to pick up the truck at the downtown location at 7 am and no one showed up to work until after 8 am. Then my reserved truck wasn't returned. It was after 10 am before I was able to finally get a truck at the sprague location. The overall experience was stressful to say the least but the staff were always friendly and helpful.

I was there just to drop off a trailer. After waiting in line for 45 min. the young lady at the counter, who didn't seem to know what she was doing and treating the couple at the counter in front of me very poorly, asked to help two other people before me who had arrived well after me. Very rude, then a gentlemen who was there helping in the yard saw the issues at the desk and came in and helped. He was great. I would not recommend if the young lady is still there. Very poor service from her. Around 11:00 am 6/9/17. I have had good service there before but not today...

The only problem I had with this location is the general manager seemed to be "stoned" at work. His eyes were glazed over and he was not really acting coherent with people. It was unprofessional. Just because pot is legal here, doesn't mean you should be using it, especially before or during work, and most definitely not as a manager when you should be setting an example.

My experience with U-Haul has been mixed. Once a year I need to rent a truck for intown 3-4 days rental. I have been cancelled at the last minute or had to travel out of town to pick up my truck. This is so stressful, I know this is a high need time of year, but I order a touch 6 weeks in advance. I have had to scramble at the last minute and hope to get a rental from Budget etc.

I reserved a 10' truck for Memorial Day Monday. I got a 10' truck because my wife can't drive anything bigger. I realize that holidays get busy. Normally, there's a 2 hour window before reservations get cancelled. I called multiple times days before to ensure I had a truck. I had to scramble to get stuff together to move and my phone had died unexpectedly that morning missing the call that my reservation had been cancelled 45 minutes after i was supposed to be there. The manager and owner scrambled to find a 24' GH truck (HUGE! My wife can't drive big trucks) that I could use. I do appreciate that but I confirmed that reservation days in advance, I don't care if you had a 1000 people waiting for it. That was my truck. Tough on the other people that waited till the last minute. I've driven countless miles to get one or done without at times when I needed to rent a truck. If this weekend was going to be that busy a heads up a day or two or whenever beforehand, not THAT morning last minute, would have been nice to ensure that my reservation was at risk of being cancelled. I was pissed and scared when the manager and owner cancelled my reservation. Sheesh! Stress and headache I didn't need.

I booked this Uhaul over one month in advance and asked for an 8am pick up time because we had family that were going help us move. I called 4 days prior to confirm and was told that it was fine to pick up at 8am. The day before our scheduled pickup the time was changed to 3pm. This messed up our plans. Very disappointed with this service. I will not use again and will not recommend to friends.

There isn't enough parking spaces in the small parking lot. After those are all gone there isn't anywhere else to park. That's my only concern. Otherwise everything else was easy.

Sprague Ave out toward the valley is not historically a nice neighborhood. It looks a lot better now than it did in the 1980's I would not send someone there in the evening or at night. This is not in any way a reflection on U-Haul, the staff or the building itself, they were all wonderful. The location is just on the edge of a bad part of town. Closer to down town is worse than the actual location of the U-Haul building.

Communication between the reservation center and the service location failed to clearly identify the type unit reserved resulting in a return trip to swap the unit with the correct one. All other information was correct but the service location did not know initially what or who reserved a particular type unit resulting in the mixup. When a complaint was made, they made the correction and all went well afterward..... That could certainly be remedied with a little effort. Ratings for the reservation center communications would NOT be favorable.

There was a long wait at the drop off point. Not enough staff to meet the customer demand. I returned the van two days earlier than outlined on the contract and should have received a credit. ( you would have charged me for extra days had I returned it late). The young lady helping me miscalculated the mileage and a manager had to undo the incorrect charge.

The site for returning after hours was confusing, I ended up just taking my own photos and Levin the rental cuase I was so frustrated ! The a count set up was a nightmare and to top it off I had to use my email which I couldn't do cuase my data plan ran out, needs to be simplifyed, like send text messages with photos or something easy !

The WORST customer service I have experienced at any business...ever. Employees overcharge, then say "oops, the manager can fix it when you return the truck." When I return the truck the employees say, "He's gone, could be an hour, could be 2 or 3 hours. We never know with him." THEN get told the manger is on the premise...but no one can find him. Wait 30 minutes while they look for him (including walking around the parking lot yelling his name as loudly as they can), and then STILL get overcharged because, "only the manager can fix this."

On previous rentals this location was ok. In the past month I have rented nine U-Boxes, a 20ft truck and car dolley and the 26ft truck on this occasion. Bobbie, the woman in charge of the U-Boxes is awesome. The manager is always running around like he doesn't know what he is doing, and seems quite flustered everytime I have been in. He has no idea how to deal with the U-boxes, which is a problem as Bobbie is gone alot on pickups and deliveries. I had to come into the location to move stuff out of some of my boxes as I had overloaded them and the manager had no idea how to deal with it. On this rental, they did not have the truck ready for me. They took me a truck and handed me the keys and that was it. I got in and the windshield was so covered with bugs I couldn't see out of it. When I asked them to clean it, Kevin seemed quite put out. He swiped it with a brush and asked if that was good enough. It was not, so I asked him to do it again. When I got to the loading location I opened the back and it was dirty, contained a dolly, some used packing blankets and garbage. I did not request either a dolly or blankets. I did return them with the truck, but a dishonest person would not have. Other than the above the truck itself was mechanically well mainted and ran great. Overall, I was not happy with my interaction at this location on this trip.

Laziest Counter staff I have ever encountered in my life. Kevin should be fired. The last 2 times I have rented there in the past 6 months all staff have been horrible. Counter staff arguing with each other on who should do what. Truck had low coolant, garbage in the box and had zero gas. No employee went over the vehicle at all with me to even verify fuel, fluids, damage, or operation. Never will I rent here again.

I had reserved a large open trailer at the downtown Spokane location for Saturday. I was called late friday saying sorry we don't have one. But we could drive way out of the way North to get one because they had one. Then another call later from someone saying sorry they no longer had one there for me someone else has it now- but I could now pick one up they had in the valley reserved for me. When we got there they had my reserved trailer hooked up to another vehicle ready to take it and then it took almost an hour and a half to get it unhooked and then set up on our truck because they were so busy, THIS IS EASILY THE WORST SERVICE EVER, NO ONE COULD CARE LESS IF YOU GOT WHAT YOU RESERVED OR NOT.

Hire more people so they can get on with their business, check out takes too long as the staff is overwhelmed. Took half an hour just to get to the front of the line...give you no stars on that. The staff were great, personable, and doing the best they could with the onslaught.

I thought the cost of my 6x12 enclosed trailer rental was extremely excessive, I paid over 500$ just for the rental, after taxes and insurance it cost me nearly 650$, and for how beat up the trailer was I felt it should have cost me half that. I could have been halfway to purchasing my own trailer new for that chunk of change.

The only issue I had was that as I was recieving the truck that was supposed to be full of fuel, I noticed that it was only half full. That could have been expensive! Trucks need to have mileage odometer calibrated to real world mileage. We traveled (verified) 12.2 miles for our entire move with the truck. When the truck was turned in it showed 40 miles driven. Which equates to a $22.52 overcharge for miles driven. Imagine if all the trucks are set to do this the amount of extra profit for the company... I feel ripped off.

This is a very nice, clean facility. The 5X8 trailer has NO options for tying things down inside of it. Before I left town, I called and asked if the larger sized trailer has any anchor points, she said they don't. These trailers are not completely mover friendly as they need more secure points at floor level. I also waited for quite a while to pick up the trailer while the person behind the counter helped other people wo entered after me.

I was advise when I picked the truck up the amount of gas required when I brought the truck back which was the mark past a half a tank, I.e. Half and an eighth. In error the truck gas tank was filled completely which cost me $39 .93. The amount to get the tank back to a half no an eighth would have been about 10.00. When I explained this to the young man behind the counter,he proceeded to advise me that is your bad luck. We will not adjust your bill or refund you the difference. I was advised I could take the gas out of the truck or drive it around until I got the gas tank to half and an eighth. So in essence the store stole $29.93 from me. I will now be disputing the entire charge with my bank. At no time was I advised if I over fill the tank I would not be reimbursed. I was only advised of what amount was to be in the gas tank when I brought the truck back. I will no longer use your company again and put on Facebook to not use you. Ruth Passinetti

The exit to Sprague was not plowed or shoveled out so that is a safety hazard. By city ordinance you have to remove snow from the sidewalk adjacent to your property. Parking was limited to about 4 spaces near the building and there was a lot of ice in those spaces. Come on, make some effort!

I would like to say our u haul experience started out fine but wasn't long before we had truck problems called roadside service and they promptly took care of the problem and inside of 1 hour had us taken care of and put back on the road with a brand new truck. When we returned the truck Erik the sales representative took care of everything and was very professional and had excellent customer service skills . I rented a truck that someone had drilled a hole in the tank and took most of the Gas. When I went to fill it up and drove off it was pouring gas all over and caused me to loose my dollars to fill the tank, material and clothing damaged, and lost time from work. The manager has not return my calls after weeks of calling numerous times. Very pore service. The repair guy said that it was the second tank he had fixed from that location the day he fixed mine.

1) Had to return to this Uhaul location (additional 10 miles) because the right rear tire was only 75% filled. Not a good start to a long drive. When I brought it back to have the tire filled, the kid working there was not helpful at all, and acted like I was ruining his day. 2) Truck pulled so hard to the right for the whole 1500 miles that my left arm feels like a Popeye arm compared to the right arm.

The trailer I rented blew fuses in my car and my brother-in-laws car. When we talked to the kids working they were uncaring and just wanted to know if we were dropping the trailer off. Then they were going to hook it up to aonther car. We told those people not to take that trailer; it blew fuses. We had to wait inside for 30 minutes before we were able to talk to one of the kids and ask that a manager please call both of us to figure out how our fuses would be replaced. He seemed unconcerned with the problem. I will not ever return to this uhaul location except to persue the fix of the fuse!

I had a very unpleasant experience when I went to pick up the trailer I was renting. After backing up to the trailer we plugged in the trailer lights and the right blinker on the trailer wouldn't work. So we decided to try a different trailer, that one didn't work either so they thought it was a problem with my trailer light connector. The staff decided it was my problem and I wouldn't be able to leave with the trailer until I got it fixed. I went to the local chevy dealership and a local Autozone to have my vehicle inspected where they didn't find any issues. Nearly 2 hours later I went back to U-Haul where I was helped by a different worker who found out that both the trailers we connected to had wiring issues with them. He said how come they didn't check this earlier this morning? I said, that's a good quesiton. What should of taken 10-20 mins took me over an hour and a half of driving around town and trying to figure the issue out. If you're in the trailer rental business I would think you would be knowledgable on how trailers connect and how to trouble shoot issues.

They charged us $7.00 over our quote because we went over on miles. Not sure why as there's only 1 main way from Moscow to Spokane. Maybe if we didn't have to run around to find gas we wouldn't have gone over ? May you need to recalculate the Mike from Moscow to Spokane. I don't think this was fair.

The drop off location indicated as they unhooked the trailer that the pick-up site did not attach the item that was attached to the trailer brakes. It was quite a scarey trip that normally takes 6 hours and it took 7.5 hours since there was a ton of swaying in the trailer. This might explain the problems.

The 26' truck they rented me was garbage. I found out after the fact that U-Haul has late model Ford F650 trucks available that are state of the art. Why wasn't I offered on of those? I have zero expectation that I'll hear back from anyone from U-Haul about this miserable experience. Maybe Penske or Budget will be better next time.

The instructions were conflicting on the tire net and where to put when unloading. This caused some issues, with one person saying put it over the side of the trailer. Also, at the drop-off location, they said I'd secured the chain incorrectly to my tow vehicle, possibly affecting braking is what he said--only thing is, the U-Haul dealer that I picked the trailer up from hooked up the truck and those chains. Nothing came of that, but maybe it could have? Recommend some more training of personnel on the use of the car trailers.

The staff were shockingly unfriendly and unprofessional. A simple 6 hour trailer rental took more than a half hour. The lot attendant asked me if he could borrow my pen as he didn't have one. When we returned it, the front desk attendant said over the loudspeaker/walkie talkie "can you come in so I can go to the bathroom!" And the outside attendant was a little too annoyed to be outside with yet another vehicle to check in. We said thanks and left. No manners, no self respect, no pride in working.

Trailer was dirty upon pick up. Had a leak in the roof. Notified dealer and he would not trade trailers or reimburse/ discount expenses. Did say the turn in location could provide a discount. Turn in at Donnelly farm service in Idaho not only refused to discuss any discount but actually made me sweep out the dirt that was already in the trailer (I only transported two large pieces of furniture, nothing dirty.) Furthermore she wanted to charge me $1 extra for folding the blankets. I am totally disappointed with the experience.

The lights on the dashboard and the heater did not work. We only drove it 10 miles but when we filled it up with gas to return it, it took 10 gallons of gas to fill it up, so unless it got about 1 mile per gallon, it was not full when we rented it. Good thing we went to a gas station and paid $2.65 per gallon and not at their price of $4.65 per gallon!

Better communication. My appt time was changed, and the transmission cooler cancelled because no one at that location was trained to install it. The staff member that called said tell me (the van owner) to "call back at this number", and hung up. My uncle answered the call. He is 87 and was woken from a nap. He had no idea who was calling, nor does he have Caller ID on the land line that was called. Thus I was unaware of the changes... no transfer cooler installation, and time change from Fri at 4:00 to Sat at 9:00. (I was to pick up a trailer at 8:30, Sat morning.) Then there were rescheduling issues... and a problem at UHaul, which the employee doing the hitch installation left before finishing the installation. Another employee was called in and completed the job about 11:30. This was an unneccessarilly stressful contract for services.

requested during every interaction that the truck be ready at 7:00. I was not told "well we come in at 7:00 and we may be a bit disorganized at first, and we may not have the dollies you requested in the truck yet". All working very hard but I waited 45 minutes for them to get it together. If the promise was 8:00, that'd be fine. But I spent 10% of my day to move waiting for workers to prepare the rental. Otherwise, an excellent location that I would recommend to anyone.

When I picked up Uhaul I was told that gas was full. The line in fact was below the full mark. and I didn't want to be charged so I filled the vehicle as I was told to upon return. I drove only 6 miles. so I should not have used but a gallon of gasoline. They were slow and under staffed and did not communicate well.

Actually everything was fine at first. I made the reservation on-line everything went smoothly at the time of pick-up, no problems. Even the drop off was no problems, so I thought, until I get a phone call 2 days later with a rep. from the Sprague location asking when I was going to bring the trailer I rented back. I was like are you kidding me. Then 2 hours later after a 30 min phone call and a trip back down to the store, finally received a receipt showing that I brought it back, but they still had no record of it on their end. Something is seriously wrong when they don't know where their equipment is. Also as I was standing in line for 30 min at the store listed to another customer ahead of me in line complaining about how they always screw up his reservation an never answer their phone. That is basically what happened to me as well, didn't answer their phone when I called and had to get transferred to the U-Haul call center that had absolutely no information on why I was getting a phone call 2 days after I returned the rental equipment stating that I hadn't. Perhaps they need a complete overhaul on they way they operate down at that location because that whole experience for me really sucked. It would have been fine if they just checked the trailer into their system right when I brought it back, instead of loosing track of it. It reeks of incompetence.

Once I rented the truck and was out of the parking lot, I noticed the gas was below a half tank, and the Uhaul employee marked it was full. Also the guy I returned it too mention it was a little dirty, with dirt in the back. I rented the truck for 5 miles to move a desk. So I guess it was given to me dirty. We mentioned all this to the guy, and he was understanding and apologized for the condition of the truck. Everything worked out, and I will continue to use this location for all my moving needs.

The store and the equipment were excellent. The service was below average. I waited with other customers for 5-10 minutes with no employees in the store at all, and when an employee finally showed up she walked straight to the back office and ignored everyone. When the customer service employees finally came back into the store there were only two to service the growing backlog. You know Saturday mornings are busy - staff accordingly. The on-line reviews gave the same feedback and I should have paid attention to them.

This was my first time using U-haul. I was never briefed about how much gas each tank takes. Plus I wasn't reimbursed at all for extra gas a put in or the fact I brought it in 3 hours early. When the paperwork was done, I felt like I was rushed. I feel as if the rep didn't really care that this was my first time using U-haul. Due to the poor cx service, as well as lack of info being given I will most likely have to reconsider going with U-haul. And to be exact I over paid 20 bucks in gas, was told I would only get charges 49.99 for the whole rental package, and my total came to 62 dollars and some change and another 30 in gas. So to move stuff for 23 miles. I was charges 92 dollars.

When I Went to return the van I stopped to top-off the gas tank. I was maybe 3 blocks from the facility. I locked the keys in the van. So I went over to the U-haul office wow they didn't have an extra set of keys. So had to call out a locksmith and pay $60.00 for the lock-out. It smeemed very senseless. Really think you should have a master key. People are stressed when they are moving and such. And that stress causes them to make senseless mistakes. I had to waste valuable time (since I only have my weekend to get things done) and money. It needlessly added to the cost of renting the van. So very sorry I will do my best to find somewhere ele to rent a vehicle in the future. And I also will tell all my friends.

I was assigned an old terrible run down truck. I would never rent from you guys again if I had to drive it again. If I wasn't on such a time crunch I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. The truck took several tries each time to even start, the gas gauge was useless, it was a very rough ride, the transmission is slipping and has no power making it dangerous to drive on the freeway.

The only issue is that we had ordered a furniture dolly that was not put into the truck. We discovered it had not been out in when we got to out location. Having to pay for mileage and gas to go back and get it, then drive back out to my mother's house would have been pricey. We managed, but I had reserved it for a reason-and we had verified that we needed one with your customer service rep.

Inform customers that if the door is shut with the keys in the cab that the doors will auto lock on some vehicles. We got locked out because this information wasn't presented and it almost ruined our entire days timeline. It was an annoying vehicle feature, that it was always locking and refusing to open any doors unless hoops were jumped through. I felt like we were at war with a precocious child. I know that is a manufacturers feature but maybe uhaul could opt for a cheaper model that's more user friendly.

While the truck ran and looked fine, the interaction between a center employee and a customer was well below expected customer service expectations in my opinion. When the employee asked the customer to move their vehicle he handled it in a very rude and short manner to which upset the customer and an exchange of words was had in front of all of us waiting in the parking lot.

When a customer reserves a 26', we want a 26', not receive a call later in the day saying you won't have one till later in the day, which wouldn't work for us we needed it in the am, you had it when we reserved it, then I received a call saying you didn't and would I take a 17', I said yes only to get down to the store and all you had was a 15'. When I called in to try and extend my rental, I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then finally was disconnected. When I called back the person stumbled all over their greeting and said that I could have the rental longer. Then I got a call from someone else saying that no, the truck had been rented to someone else. In the end, the rental costed much more than the original quote as well. I am not a happy renter.

Uhaul screwed me over. They advertise their 6'×12' trailers for 29.99/day. Then they charge me $44/day. I needed it from Wenatchee to Spokane one way. They automatically charge me for two days but the dealer in Wenatchee tells me that they will only charge me for one day if I return it the same day I rent it, which is what I do (pick up in wenatchee at 10:30 am, drop off in Spokane at 6 PM on friday). Then uhaul charges me $113!! So I call and tell them you charged me for 2 days and they tell me that when you pay for a one-way trip, it doesn't matter if you don't use it the number of days they allow you because you are paying for the trip. So even though I use a trailer for one day (should have cost 29.99) I get charged 113 because that is how long they believe it will take me to move from Wenatchee to Spokane. I haul should have told me the correct information on the first place instead of screwing me out of 80+ dollars.

I originally reserved my U-Haul online, when I came in I told the gal where I would be dropping it off (a different location) she agreed and said that was fine. While picking up the U -Haul we had to wait for it to be pulled to the front, no big deal. I am just glad I wasn't charged for the massive scratches that the driver caused by scraping it along along U-Haul truck. When I went to drop off my U-Haul at a different location I was THEN informed I had a 1 way U haul and if I didn't take it back to the Spokane Valley location I would be charged $200 in fees for a wrong location drop. So I am already annoyed that I was misinformed. I go back to the Spokane Valley location; Ryan and another guy checked in my U-Haul they misread the gas gauge and tried to charge me more, saying that the gas gauge wasn't full when it was. The gal that was there even took a picture to prove to Travis the manager who was on duty, that the tank was indeed full. Ryan also settled the balance without even telling me! Ryan should have informed me of my total before moving on to the next customer, I was pretty upset to find my card was charged without being told what my total charges were. I think anyone would be! Travis and another gal ( I can't remember her name I apologize) helped me by re-figuring out what my correct total was but they also told me that my card would only be charged once...wrong again. My card was charged 3 times, now granted they credited back my account but having all of those pending charges on my account was frustrating, I had to hold off on paying my car payment, until after it was due because I had almost $300 being tied up. Luckily my bank understood what was going on and didn't charge me any late fees. Also when someone returns a U-Haul and tells you that the U-Haul shook so violently that they weren't able to go over 50 mph on the freeway and your response is "Ya, the last guys that rented it said the same thing, guess it never got fixed." Seriously?! I will never rent or purchase from this location ever again, it was a bad experience with one thing after another. Honestly I want my money back but I know it's not going to happen.

It was a 5 hour ordeal to get any assistance. Even drove 38 miles roundtrip from our location to the store to get help, only to get some smug "rep", Travis, tell me WITH A SMILE "huh, that sucks" when I explained that the truck wouldn't start and was stuck near a wasp near and my husband was deathly allergic and when I explained that there are 3 seniors stuck at our location that is over 80 degrees inside while I try to get help from UHaul. I was on hold with 1call for 1hr 20 mind only for the rep to not hear me and hang up. This entire ordeal took my phone battery from 97% to 12% and left us a day behind. All the jerk "rep" at the store did was write Roadside's number down and walk away. I have to pay $.89 per mile for use of a UHaul truck. Who will reimburse me the 3 gallons I used driving to UHaul to get help?! WILL NEVER REFER UHAUL... EVER!
