The additional equipment I rented, the dolly and a dozen pads, were not in the vehicle when I picked it up. I use the U-Haul app in order to save time picking up the vehicle, but having to go inside and wait in line with four other people for one employee to serve us, eliminated all time-saving. I was very unhappy that I had to go inside and speak with an employee and wait while they got me the equipment I had already ordered. What should have been five minutes in the parking lot, became a half an hour. Also, the 10’ truck didn’t have a ramp. That made lifting my furniture into the truck very difficult. I am very unhappy and sorry I rented from U-Haul.

Got mad at me for asking if she worked there- said can’t you see I am on the phone. If you don’t wear any type of ID and you are holding the phone down and away from your face it looked like she was just looking at the phone. Very rude service.Talked over me . Explained to delivery drivers of our situation which was none of their business. Stopped helping us and started helping others before the rental return was completed. Declined to let us know how the charges were calculated when asked. Said she couldn't do anything about the amount of gas that was not in the fuel tank when picked up. Refused to give a paper copy of charges said that is how u haul does it. To think this person was the general manager was a joke. This horrible service needs to be brought to the attention of the CEO and a copy of this needs to be put in her file.

Trailer leaked water really bad and ruined our things during our move because it was raining. I could have used a friends trailer for free but decided to pay uhaul to get an enclosed trailer which was a mistake due to the water damage of my family’s belongings. Tweakers in the parking lot as well eyeballing us during drop off which caused a safety concern but we had to go through the app and spend more time outside anyways in order to provide photos of drop off.

Trailer was greasy and hooked to another trailer, which is not safe. Computers didn’t work and checkout took a lot of unnecessary time. Wheel chocks were not used by staff, these are key to safe coupling and uncoupling. The trailer towed great when loaded but rattled loudly when empty.

I've been dealing with U-Haul for at least 40 years locations throughout the United States and just lately two different locations pretty-much denied me rental they were judging me wanted more information I've never had a problem with U-Haul before I don't know what's going on I don't know if I'll ever rent any more equipment Sue U-Haul again

Jim Nettlingham at the Sprague location was quite helpful. He apologized for the obnoxious behavior of the previous location. It allmost made up for the lack of service which caused us serious delay in our travel plans. The problem is, I was sent to 4399 W. Sunset Blvd. It had no signage, so we wandered around trying to find it. When we did, the staffer there refused to take the truck, even when shown the text which said that was the drop-off. He was more than a bit of a jerk. We ended up going to Sprague, which was only a few blocks from the place we'd spent the night. It meant circling all over Spokane in mid-day traffic. We didn't get out of town until after 1 p.m., and we had hundreds of miles to go through the mountains. It was a nightmare. I don't know what the communication foul-up was, but it seriously taints my opinion of U-Haul. Thanks to Mr. Nettlingham, I would probably use your service again, but unless I must. It was a lousy value for the money/time spent.
