Customer service was extremely poor. The woman who helped us out gave me attitude for being early. She spoke to her coworkers throughout our entire transaction. Told us she was going to meet us out in the back to help with the hitch and never came back to help we had to walk back inside to get someone. Moving is already stressful so to have the rental equipment just add on to the stress sucks. It would be nice if uhaul would step their game up when it comes to customer service.JANINA B.

THE PICK WAS GREAT THE GUY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND FRIENDLY. They blew the trash out of the truck, but it was not clean and it had 0 gas in it. Was just grateful to get a truck and honestly they were just trying to get us the truck on time and the other people just brought it back. I have never experienced such poor customer service. This location has always been the best in my opinion but today wasn't good. I needed a dolly to move heavy furniture. She failed to ask but didn't hesitate to ask if I needed insurance. I needed both. I thought she had added the dolly but found out she didn't after I got home. My fiance and I have mobility issues that make it hard to maneuver anything with ease. We all have bad days and weeks and months but when we are at our jobs we don't ignore the customer. Fail to ask key questions isn't good. I hope she has a better day and year.Karen S.

Employees were great, issue was with the trucks and charges after returning truck. Rented a 26foot truck, first one died 5 minutes after we left the lot, computer needed to fix car issue. Second 26foot truck had all the gas taken out of it on the lot. Ended up having to rent a 20 foot truck for the move. Returned truck at the end of the night, the registration was still for the 26 foot car so none of the mileage added up. Charged an extra $80 at the end for gas and mileage fees after the employee said that they would be waived. Looking for a refund on the $80 charge. I would not recommend because your business fraudulently charged me. The contract was for 4 hours and to be returned by 11am. We drove up at 10:35am a guy walked out the building and told us to just leave the truck there with the key inside. A few hours later someone called me telling me that I was past the time the truck was due back....I explained to her that the truck was there at 10:35 and asked her to check their cameras. She closed out the contract, said the truck was returned 2.5 hours late and they charged me for 2 rentals.....2x the amount. Now it's difficult to contact them. I'm not sure if you all are doing this to everyone trying to make extra money but I will be contacting the BBB about your fraudulent actions.NATASHA P.

The guy that helped us with the rental was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our van rental was not there but he was able to get us a replacement right there and then as we booked the rental weeks in advanced and needed it. He should be given a good raise for giving us great customer service and knowing what to do to help us, he was very friendly! Not a little measly raise either a significant one that would actually help him make a better living in this crazy expensive city we live in! The complaint is not with the facility that provided the Storage Unit... My complaint is with the U-HAUL scheduling & reservation system... It all was an "inconvenient mess"..! I had to call several times... The pick up facility for the truck rental was un-able to be contacted due to a disconnected phone number... I called the day before my pick up to affirm my reservation and re-assess my contractual agreement... I spoke to several agents in the "Transportation Center" several times the morning of the pick up and got another disconnected number... My CC was charged $30 more than what I was quoted over the phone by the reservation agent despite a very intentionally adamant conversation with the agent regarding that specific issue (i.e. Amount due at pick up). The person who did the contract at the facility for the pick up (a young lady) never asked for my signature and just did everything for my pick up of the truck on her phone... And, upon arrival to the storage facility the unit that I was quoted was not available when I got to the storage facility so I had to accept a different unit (a more expensive one). Throughout this entire experience I was making several phone calls to the "Transportation Center" and then the "Customer Service Center" and practically every time these calls were put on long "wait-time holds" and when finally connected to a live person the calls were disconnected..! This entire experience should be easily documented & confirmed as it is noted in all of these calls that you (i.e. U-HAUL) record these phone calls... I am truly displeased with this experience and I tried calling your "Customer Service" several times the following day to submit this grievance but just as during this experience, I was unable to speak with any of your agents... I am in a profession that is compelled to be diligent in customer service in order to perpetuate the further continuance of repeat & referral business so this was an appalling experience for me as this kind of "ball dropping" would be totally unacceptable..! I call in to schedule a storage unit and had it reserved the person had it scheduled and took my credit card. She scheduled it for the first floor and a larger unit. When I got the the facility it was all different the lady at the storage said she did not see the reservation in the system and the lady was very rude. The storage facility does not have a elevator so I have to carry all my items up the stairs. What is up with this? I am happy I got the one month free but it really was a ordeal that I did not want to deal with.
