The online digital log in is flawed and terrible. I will never ever use that again. I got to the pick up location at 9:10am and after dealing with the terrible app and absolutely terrible “app communication” I finally had to speak to someone on the phone to get it straighten away. I finally left at 10:10!!!! It was awful and will never use the app again. I rather rent through another company

Please try not to hand out defective equipment to customers who can potentially get injured like I was and also damage my property.... I was given a broken tow dolly that hurt me and my car

Came in to rent a tow dolly and truck. Got the paperwork and wasn’t even shown where the truck is or walked around it or anything. Then the tow dolly had a piece missing, metal D shaped tab needed to strap the tires down. I showed one guy, who didn’t know what to do. He asked the manager, manager told him to get us a full car trailer, because there were no more tow dollys. The employee then asked me to back the truck up and take the tow dolly off myself. As I did, he walked over and talked to me, WHILE I WAS STILL MOVING THE DOLLY. HE DIDNT EVEN HELP ME UNHOOK THE TOW DOLLY, OR CARRY IT BYMELF INTO A SPOT HE PICKED. Then made me drive the 26 foot truck around the tight parking lot backward to back up to the trailer. The manager was great, but that employee was subpar. He talked a lot, but that’s it. Nice guy, but i don’t think it’s my job to unhook and place uhaul merchandise inside a uhaul parking lot. MIND YOU, ALL OF THIS WITH MY TWO YOUNG CHILDREN WITH ME. Waiting in the truck while I had to unhook the trailer and help the employee hook up the new one. It was a very big let down.

The location and customer service was amazing. The only issue we had was the App didn't work when we tried to return the truck during closed hours. However when we explained what happened the next day they were understanding and took care of the return.

Evidently the truck was not properly checked and on the second day the radiator trouble light came.on. after waisting and hour waiting for help to arrive, the mechanic discovered the radiator was way low on coolant.

The car had roaches & on top of that I was giving misinformation, causing my pickup to be delayed a whole hour. I spoke to the manager regarding the misinformation & he couldn’t even apologize of compensate for the situation. All he did was put the blame on the answering service & said that’s not his team/employees. At the end of the day wether it’s someone from the call center or the actual location they are all employees of UHaul & they all should be giving out the correct information. & as a manager you just don’t put the blame on someone else & say “that’s the call center” correct the mistake & take owner ship of it.

Would rather make reservations directly with location than to go through central booking. Reservations are done incorrectly and require 2nd and 3rd phone calls to straighten out. This is unsatisfactory.

i found the check out area very congested and cluttered with racks of merchandise closing the area into tiny corridors.

The return after hours was horrible. The U-Haul system could not detect our location even with 3 attempts- my location was on. I called customer service and was transferred to a different department- I was on hold for ever, after being on hold for almost 30 minutes I hung up. Called customer service again after arriving home and after a while I was able to speak to someone. I was told that I needed to call the location in the morning and that she would notate the file. This wad very frustrating and unnecessary. Needs a new friendly drop off system

What is the point of putting all my information in online then when I get there I have to give it to her all again? I ordered supplies for my move and they couldn’t even tell me without me asking three times how much I ordered. I didn’t write it down I assume they would know and have it ready.

I spent over 30 minutes trying to disconnect the trailer, I had to take the receiver out of the truck and bang it to get the trailer to come off, then, I was charged a late charge because I couldn't complete the check in process on time. While, I asked an employee for help, she told me to jump on it...

The drivers seats was awful. It slanted to the left and when you would hit the brakes it would slide forward and the back when to hit the gas. Also the drivers door was very hard to shut. You had to really slam it to get it to shut. This is the worse truck rental I ever had. And the mileage charge is way to much to be charging.

The truck needed wiper blades n the front end was to loose your maintenance personnel need to do a better job with the maintenance n will like to get credit for one day because I returned the truck a day early n I didn’t use all the miles that I charged for thank you

This was a fiasco. Registered online to avoid lines. Get there and there are 2 lines with appx 10 people. I asked an outside employee what the process was as I did not think I needed to be online and also called the 800# and both said to get in line. So a 5 minute process took 40 minutes. The employee who finally made sense of it then proceeded to make me feel stupid because “ I should not have waited in line”. Never again U-Haul!

Instructions should be emailed ahead of time to give the renter a better idea on how go about locating and getting the truck. My rental had a picture of the lock where to get the key instead of where my truck was parked. Had I known locating the truck comes before getting my key it would’ve saved me from having to stop a rep To help me figure out how to get my key. Both times I’ve done the online system hoping not to have to bother a rep I’ve had to still stop someone to help me defeats the purpose of the self serve process.
