Kyle was excellent. We dropped off the trailer 2/1/2020 (2 days early). He thanked us for that. The system was down so he couldn't check us in online but was extremely courteous, quick and efficient. Still have not received our email confirmation the trailer was returned. Again tried to call and cannot get through.

I was unhappy about having to go out of my way to pick up the trailer off of Santa Fe in Englewood, co but after dealing with the rude lady there and meeting the man in Lakewood I was happy with him. I think you should deliver the requested need to the location that works for the customer.

Trailer was fantastic, well maintained, clean on the inside, but filthy on the outside. Please instruct this outlet to clean the outside of equipment before renting out! They also recommended the wrong hitch ball, should have been a drop down.

I was happy with truck, only thing that needs improved is the mobile pickup, I couldn't get the location to work which was ok cause It gave me a option to scan barcode but when I dropped truck off the location didn't work again and didn't have the scan barcode option so I had to call. But that was also easy to do even at 2:30am, the lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful to get it dropped off so I didn't get extra charges.

The only gripe I have is that my trailers were supposed to be picked up at the Santa Fe location, not the Lakewood store. When I questioned this at the Santa Fe location, I got attitude from the employees. Not very good customer service, but this is becoming the normal way to treat customers. Good customer service is becoming a lost art.

Kyle Rutherford manager of this Uhaul location is beyond rude. I told him when picking up that if I couldn't be back before closing it would have to be the next day so I may need the Uhaul for the full day. What Uhaul banks on is the inconsistencies associated with moving and charging additional fees when they can. I was charged 2 days for a 1 day rental. Mind you I had rented two other Uhaul trucks over the past few days. I have a terminal illness and recently donated all my belongings to various people and not only that I paid to deliver it all and did so despite my illness. While we were unloading the last of the items at 9:30am the following morning I received a phone call from Kyle Rutherford who was not just mean he was beyond rude and cruel and yelled at me without even asking if there was any issues. There were but I won't get into those details here. The maltreatment instantly flared up my illness and may have very well taken time from the remainder of my days. I intend to let every review venue know how he treated me. Also why would Uhaul double book trucks within 24 hour periods? He claimed he had it rented although when I arrived back he had nobody waiting for the truck. I told Kyle I would be reporting his behavior to his management and letting others know how he was treating a dying man. He hung up the phone on me. I spent the remainder 45 minutes as I proceeded to return the truck trying to call him back. He avoided me and wouldn't talk to me when I arrived back at the store. You know a dying man has nothing more to lose and treating people so terribly would in most cases result in being fired from their job. I suspect it won't happen to Kyle because he is a money maker for Uhaul in double booking and charging additional fees. I should also mention prior to renting the truck I was in the store and he refused to help me rent a truck and straight up lied and said none were available and told me to go online and look for one. I did go online and had a difficult time navigating the site and after two hours wasted I managed to rent a truck from his location and schedule to pickup two hours later. So this is the type of person Uhaul hires to manage a store and how he treats his customers. He behaves pretentious and with attitude yet the sorry loser is stuck working a $15/hr job spending his days tormenting his customers for his own self enjoyment. I probably won't ever rent a Uhaul again for obvious reasons but I hope the rest of you start using Fluid truck rentals. Fluid will rent a 26 foot truck for $110/day and the first 100 miles free. That's cheaper than the $200 I paid for less than 24hours and for a 15ft truck. Forget Uhaul they're old news and they deserve to be driven out of business. Fluid Truck, Fluid Truck, Fluid Truck. Very unsatisfied with Uhaul. I reserved a 26 foot truck and was informed the day before pickup that I could only get a 20 foot truck. I ended up having to rent a second truck resulting in a significant increase in cost for me. I will make sure to inform people looking to rent trucks about my experience with Uhaul. Very disappointed!!!!!!!

Service was good, but only one person on staff, so wait time was long. Pickup ran good, but the interior had not been cleaned in a long time. I used a Clorox wipe on the steering wheel, and it was black after wiping it. Seats and console were also disgusting.

This comment is related to the lack of a step at the cab of the 15' truck. We had to bring a short ladder in order to get into, and often get out of, the cab. Otherwise the truck use was successful.

Have the truck I reserved 1 week before my move there at the pick up location would have been nice. The smaller truck caused the move to be harder.

I was renting (online) from a UHaul place 10 miles closer to my storage unit, but when I had to change to this new location for no reason other than what was advertised wasn't available there, it added 20 X $1.09 to my bill. That's the only complaint I had. I thought UHaul should have adjusted my bill by about $22 or driven the vehicle I rented to the original location.

Have the equipment that uhal promises. I set a reservation to pick up in castle rock got an email that I had to go uhal in Lakewood to pick up trailer. When I got there they said they didn't have the trailer that I would have to go somewhere else. So upsetting. Lost 2 hours trying to find a place that had the trailer all the while movers are at my house waiting.

It was opened 30 minutes late and they didn't offer to extend the contract to compensate for the delay. The truck's needs oil change was on. The truck was behind two other vehicles so was not positioned to be ready for pick up when the location was opened.

It is obvious that at certain times there needs to be someone/something to be able to answer the phones. I was on hold for almost an hour. It is difficult for one person to do all that is needed when there is more than 1 person at the counter and the phone is ringing. Forward the calls. I would like to put a good word in for Jacob at Green Mountain U-Haul. I could tell he was newer. He was working by himself and he really handled customers well. There were several customers in the store and the phone calls. He was inside and outside but he did his best to acknowledge everyone there. Thank you! Colleen

I *thought* everything started off well.  The 5x8 trailer was securely attached, taillights checked and given the "good to go" but my trust was unfounded.  After several hundred miles of towing, I discovered that the left taillight was *not* working.  "No worries", I thought, "I can adjust, knowing the taillight is out".  I figured I would get the bulb replaced for the return trip.   Upon arrival at my outbound destination, I looked at the light and saw that none of the wires were connected to the taillight fixture.  It was *impossible* for the taillight to have been working when I left... the fellow who "verified" correct brake and turn signal operation outright *lied* and thus put me, my passenger, and other motorists *at risk*!  This is unconscionable, certainly unethical, and perhaps even criminal. I was able to get a replacement trailer without hassle at my outbound destination.  (Kudos to Roadside Assistance!)  Upon return, I described the situation to the fellow who took receipt of the trailer.  This guy seemed to imply that *I* was to blame for the unwired taillight, saying that he **had personally rewired** the light before renting the trailer.  This was the second outright lie from personnel at this location.   There will not be a "next time" for *me* at this location but I can offer a simple suggestion to improve their service:  Tell the truth about the functioning of the equipment and let the customer decide what to do.  Certainly, **do not lie and jeopardize customer safety** (and other drivers) just because you're greedy for revenue.

We rented a cargo van to pick up some lumber and also to move a queen size box spring. We did online check-in so picking up the van was very quick and easy. Returning the van was also quick with no unexpected charges. The U-Haul employee was very helpful and professional. Our final charge was lower than the estimate because the job took less hours and miles than we anticipated.

We rented a truck and got a free months storage. We needed to extend that storage 1 week, and they told us they’d charge us for the whole month. $174 for 1 week of storage is bad business. You’ve lost our business. We canceled the uhaul truck to get our stuff out of storage and went with another company. We also move to a different company for storage.
