Michael P.I reserved my rental from a location near my home months ago. It was changed twice by Uhaul in the 2 days prior to my reservation date and I had to drive 45 minutes each way to pick up my van. I would have went with another company if I knew it would take and hour and a half to pick up my rental.

JAMES W.I had reserved the truck 1 miles from my home. U-Haul then changed my reservation the next day to 8 miles from my house. Then to make matters worse the night before or morning of my move U-Haul changed my reservation to 22 miles from my home. This added extra mileage and gas that I had to pay for. Further it added an additional over 1.5 hours to the driving time to this location and back. Unacceptable!!
Chris K.Arun and staff were good to deal with. As a constructive observation trying to call U-Haul and navigate the system to find availability of a vehicle and just communicate in general is cumbersome and aggravating - would infuriate a less tolerant person. Thank you.

Got double bill because my original contract was printed with errors so the guy redid it at the counter took an hour to pick up so he extended the rental for “free†but then after I drop the truck off and got home the receipt was emailed and was billed for an additional day. I rate avg because this is about the same experience as my prior uhualbrental out of Az. Will stick to Home Depot for in town truck needs.

Noe E.The only issue I had is that I bought a new hitch and ball and the installer put together the ball and hitch incorrectly and the ball came loose in the hitch and almost came apart. I stopped at a uhaul dealer in Waukegan and they weee able to tighten all back together and is all good now.

Keith F.I am arrived on time, park trailer and disconnect everything by myself. After I come to the office one guy was on the phone over 15 minutes. I wait there. After that I told him that I am returning trailer. Another few minutes hi try found me on tablet because they mess up my address when I pick up this trailer day ago. Finally we go outside, he inspect trailer and everything was ok. Now I see I was charged for two days because I was late 55 minutes. THIS IS NOT TRUE!! I come on time but they was busy and I disconnect trailer by myself. All process take almost 1h so why I have to pay for it??????

SAJID M.I have used UHaul many times but I have never experienced a reservation being changed after booking it. They left a message on my phone with local number to call. I called back twice and both times was on hold over 15 minutes. Then I heard sound like my call was finally being answered but it clicked and disconnected. I was so mad and just cancelled the service and got Penske instead.

However it was dropped off on time, they took 30 minutes to check it in. Meanwhile I was charged for dropping it off early. Worst location, Catherine Washington was rude about the situation and completely ignored the problem. I asked her to pull up the video and nope they won't.

Unfriendly, nobody could find my account even with a reservation number, took an hour to get me re-registered, I even got locked into the inside facility and had to call the police to get me out because customer service was going to take 40 minutes just to answer the phone. I'm not pleased with my experience and will never use uhaul for anything again.

jim O.The person checking me in was very good. My pickup location was checked three times which made it frustrating for planning purposes. The equipment was clean however pulled severely with a load - the truck pulled so hard it would change lanes for me without turning the steering wheel! Possibly have a discussion with people when they return the truck to ask if there were any issues with the vehicle.

Jerome H.The gentleman working at the facility was extremely polite. He was the only one working the entire facility. He personally did a great job. The problem lies in the fact that we reserved a drive up outside storage unit. This was confirmed over the phone. That is not what we received. We had to go down an extremely narrow hallway. This hallway destroyed by very expensive couch. This was not what was agreed upon. We were told to get a drive up would be over double what our contract price was. Getting jagged around after a busy of moving across state lines and ruining multiple pieces of furniture was nothing short of a horrible experience.

Nail in one tire, no brake fluid, and the left side running light ground was broke so we had no lights. That is not her fault we took it anyway so next time I will be fussier on which trailer I take
