I ordered furniture pads online when making my reservation but they were not included with the truck rental. In addition, I was looking forward to the online check-in/pick-up process but your website was "down for maintenance". The two employees working the counter did the best they could but there was a line of customers waiting for service both during the pick-up and drop-off time period. If the website is going to be down for the automated pick-up, it would be best to make sure you're staffed fully.SHION H.

My access card has not worked, I always have to ask someone for assistance. This location is pretty busy so if it would be ideal for the machine /system to work. so I don't have to wait for someone to unlock the door. I pay every month for the service, the least I need is for it to work. Staff needs customer service training. People come in with an attitude or are very stressed. people are moving so understand they will come me with attitude, not towards you, so the staff doesn't have to give ppl hard time, they need to talk nicely and properly so the customer doesn't feel rush or not understood.SOPHIA A. | First Impressions
I ran into a number of issues with my rental. My vehicle was illegally towed from in front of my apt with my possession in the truck. Both Uhaul and the towing colluded and refused to allow me to pick up the rental despite still being within my contract. I reached out to. N number of people at Uhaul who are/were unresponsive. The manager at the location was very rude, applied a number of fees to my card, and stated he "did not care" about our issues. I am currently working with my credit card company and the attorney general in getting these issues straightened out. Very disgusting experience undeed.LUNIDE D.

I reserved online for an 8am pickup and received a call to confirm the pick up and the location it would be available at. However, no one was available for the 8am pickup so I had to wait until 9. This caused me to lose the movers that I had to help me. Very unsatisfied with uhaul in general for allowing me to reserve a truck for a time that it could not be given.MEGAN M.

I had been U-Haul customer for a long time it's the first time I had ever had bad experience with the location and with the U-Haul customer service I call customer service three times I waited over an hour for each time the one time I had Someone to answer me they end up transfer me to another customer service stayed on hold over hour I end up hanging up bad very bad towing dolly don't have strapGamrelanbia M.

The check process on the phone was poor. Too manny steps that should have been done at rental Truck was in very poor condition. Check engine light came on intermittently. Transmission was bad and either shifted too soon or not when it should. Roll up door was over spring and almost came off tracks. Mileage was abysmal that I needed to put in 10 gallons of gas to cover 73 miles of driving with no idling. TerribleTHOMAS D.

I am a returning customer and I am particularly angry at your new policy to only accept major credit cards for van and pickup truck, especially when we purchase the CDW. Your remaining truck like 10' seems to be poorly maintained an are not suitable to our needs. This credit card thing really feels to be taken for a frauder or a bad customer per definition. I hardly expect to have a commercial gesture from you at the exclusion of an apologizing email. Be aware that because of the above I would not anymore recommend your company and will likely look around for one of your competitor. RegardsGeraud G.

The starting mileage and fuel level was incorrect. I was told to take a picture with the link that was sent to my mobile phone. This did not work so I was billed an extra 54 miles and 13 gallons of fuel which led to being overbilled by $140. Im literally on hold now for 35 minutes. Service was o.k until we returned the vehicle after nine days. The clerk stated we used 200 miles and left us in shock!! We only drive from Dorchester Ma to Downtown Boston on 8 days. 200 miless is Boston to New York! We asked them to check it over. My guess is that the clerk imput the starting miles 100 over. We felt ripped off $100. We called for the manager but the clerk said there was NOTHING HE COULD FO FOR US...unless we had pictures. LESSON LEARNT. Never again!WENDELL G.

Truck was on E fuel and they charged 88.00 dollars for fuel. Plus I asked for a 26' in West Roxbury and I got a 20' in Hyde Park so I end up making two trips so double the miles. ( NO HAPPY).Frank M.

Billing issue - Upon initial rental I was asked for an estimate of time and mileage which I gave but having rented before, I knew there is a 24hr window. I went past my estimated time. I called just before closing and was unable to reach anyone so I contacted customer service and was informed (confirmed) of my 24hr window. Upon returned I was informed that I was charged for a 2-day rental because of going over my "estimated" timeframe". Upon explaining my interaction with the leasing agent the fee was adjusted. I was informed that the leasing agent didn't thoroughly communicate the policy. This should be corrected immedidately.LORENZA J.

If would be great if you guys had cash on hand. I paid cash for my rental today and wasn't able to get the change back that was due to me.. Also the receipt that I received stated that by card was being charged. I was very clear at the beginning that I was only using my card to hold the reservation and I would pay cash at the end. It would be great if the transaction would reflected what actually occurred. Date 3/2/21 @ 4:20pm Lastly, the wait time for service was over 35 or so mins. long. Darron and Jesus at Hyde Park, MA location provided great customer service with their flexibility, knowledge, recommendation, problem-solving and courtesy. They represented U-Haul professionally and deserve a lot of credit for its success. Online U-Haul leaves a lot to be desired because paying online was a nightmare. The app was just as bad. In my initial inspection of the truck when I picked it up, I noted that it was clean. After actually settling in and driving I noticed that the area inside the truck where the cupholders are was pretty dirty. I wasn't using any of that space so it was no big deal.KATE D.

Also, very misleading as you advertise $19.95 on your trucks and charged my card $160.00 to bring one load from Hyde Park to Taunton and back to Hyde park.
