The vehicle I reserved was not ready when I arrived for scheduled pick-up. Associate who proceeded the transaction had to go out to clean vehicle (was informed of this by another employee while waiting for initial employee to return. This individual was still training so he needed assistance to process transaction. I was in location for 35 minutes to pick up cargo van. Vehicle had warning messages displaying that service was needed for ABS and traction control. I would likely use another provider in the future.

I had an online reservation which was supposed to save me time. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle there was only one person working. There was no priority given to those with reservations. I had to wait while propane tank was filled and while a walk-in was served. It took a half hour to get a vehicle.

Dropped off trailer after hours in windy conditions. I was concerned with trailer movement and had to find a good area where I was sure it would not roll. Having wheel chocks available would have made process easier and safer.

There was an issue with the entrance front door and no staff seemed to care. It could have been blocked open. Weather was not a factor. Getting to where I had to have the trailer attached was very tight and difficult to maneuver. The attendant did a fine job.

GM Offered to include insurance on the 15ft Truck. When I told him my company was paying for the move he said "well since they're paying for it I'll throw it on." Unacceptable and disappointing. Never again will I recommend uhaul.

Employees are not trained well while being the only person in the lobby was treated very poor was nobody in lobby employee wise had to wait when I final was waited on everyone was to busy socializing with each other and my SUV twas damaged while they hooked up tailor informed manager did not seemed all that concerted about my 35k Jeep... Now that 21.00 rental will cost them over 1,000 in damage but the toner I had to take out of my day to contact insurance company and to lose time and my Jeep to have it repaired and the miss time from work it's a pain and feel like very u n professional location, next time I'll go to ryder

This location was excellent for picking up the truck. When buying boxes and other supplies they were short on staff causing a very long wait for a simple purchase. Add more counter help!

This Portage St location's services has improved immensely in the last few years. They have very good people working there. Some get a little hyper and some are very cool headed. Make sure you inspect the trucks before you leave on your journey.

It was 9am on a Saturday morning and they only had one person on staff for checking out customers. She had to hook up a trailer before she was able to wait on us. I would expect more counter staff on a saturday morning.

I set up my order online and when I got to the pickup location they informed me that my truck was a 1 way truck (they didnt say this on the website) and that I would need to drive it back to my original location. I had people waiting on me so I had to pay and leave quickly but the manager didnt really care that my return trip would cost much more than I had budgeted for or what the website had quoted me. If I had known this prior to arriving I would have found another company to go with. Poor information on the website led to me having to pay far more than I was told.

William, who was in from the Grand Rapids location that day, was great. The rest of the Kalamazoo Postage location employees were....not helpful and unprofessional. Dufus is the word that comes to mind. New management is clearly needed at the Postage store.

It's a perfect place storing your stuff and it takes the worry off your mind that nothing will happen to your stuff but the smaller units could be cheaper like the one I had cost too much money

We rent from this U-Haul frequently and are always extremely pleased. This time is no exception! The service that we got was fantastic and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was incredible. Logan, who helped me with the rental and hook-up, did an amazing job! I couldn’t have asked for better help than he gave me!

Realistic pricing on rental trucks, it is deceiving to post 19.99 on the truck and then charge $200 for a half day rental to move our daughter home from college!

They told me they didn't have the storage area and truck I reserved but then found something for me. What's the point of making a reservation if you folks aren't keeping it? This appears to be a problem caused by corporate overbooking and not the facility

Equipment seemed fine, but something strange on their mileage. I did a very small in town move and got charged an extra 10+ miles. Plugging in my whole trip there's no physical way I drove that many extra. I mentioned it at checkout and they refused to do anything about it. If you're gonna rent keep a close eye on mileage. There were also some issues with the charges on my card. I would honestly just go somewhere else.

The trailer was dirty and had chunks of wood and sticks in it's. The coupler was bent and the passenger side ramp pin bracket is also bent making it difficult the remove the pin. The wait at this location is always ridiculous and was worse than ever this time.

I have rented from this location for over 40 years and always perfect; however, I could not find their direct number so I called an 800 number and was treated very rudely by an employee named Pam and she eventually hung up on me. I called back and got a different female employee who was very kind and I told her about my previous experience with an employee named Pam and she said she would report the rude employee.

I highly recommend the pick up rentals. The pick up was in excellent running condition, it only took 5 minutes to pick it up and less to drop it off!, it had a back up camera, was easy to drive and hauled a springs supply of gardening materials! Thanks U Haul! From a very happy customer.

We had to wait on line for an hour. When we finally got the trailer hooked up the lights were not working so we had to wait another 30 minutes while they worked on the lights instead of them renting a different trailer. Needless to say we will not be return customers. It thru off our whole schedule and they had the nerve to say that the rental was due back at 3:00 pm after it took them an hour and a half before we could get off their lot. Never apologized nor did they offer a discount for the inconvience.

The welds broke on the trailer I rented during normal use, leaving the trailer unable to be used. I sat on the side of the road with a broken trailer for 3 hours waiting for roadside assistance then sat at another Uhaul location for another 3 hours waiting for them to get the right paperwork to give me a new trailer just so I could get home. Terrible day. No clue why it takes that long to send paperwork over but the communication between stores and corporate headquarters is atrocious.

Ordered a appliance dolly and 12 blankets and paid $120 for them. Asked 2 employees are the blankets and dolly in the truck. Was told yes. Got to the house to start loading and no blankets and no dolly. Called down to the store where I got the truck and was put on hold and finely gave up. and went down there. I told the man at the desk I didn't get what I paid for and want reimbursed or get what I needed. He told me he would do better than that and he would reimburse me and get what I needed. When turned the truck in I was reimbursed $15 dollars. I tried calling the Manager and was told that they would give him a message to call me back. HE NEVER DID!

There were not enough staff to assist with all of the customers. Also it would be nice if the uhaul truck had a usb port or some sort of adapter to be able to charge a phone when hauling long distances.

The location seemed a little unorganized. The trailer number on my signed contract was different than the one on the computer print out. I ended up hooking up to the one on the signed contract and had a ton of trouble getting it straightened out.
