I find it extremely ridiculous that you allow people to do a online reservation and not have the trucks that were rented. I would honestly like a refund for my time, stress, and unprofessional employees. This morning when I went to pick up the truck I waited over 10min. When it was my turn, she looked up my number, started writing down my confirmation number and a 800 number. She did not tell me that my truck was available. She just said call them. They will take care of you. I was confused because that is all she said. I had to ask her why I had to call this number. She said we do t have the truck and they take care of you. I had to spend over an hour to get a truck that was 8 hours after the 9am time I selected. Very poor service, extremely unprofessional employees, and stress that I should not have had.Levi B.

hooking up the trailer was an issue that took much longer than I had planned. In addition, the coupler was so rusted, that making a secure connection was very difficult. Luckily, I have experience in hooking up trailers securely. Based upon the U Haul representative's knowledge, someone renting the trailer with less experience could have lost it.ROBERT JOSEPH S.

When I went to get my truck, it was not available and there was no way for me to know that. The woman at the office did nothing to assist me just told me to call the line. The online service needs to be clear to customers that you are not guaranteed a truck so they are not inconvenienced. Spoke with a supervisor John, after the consultant who could have cared less about the inconvenience I was in, he was amazing! Overall my experience with UHAUL was not good.JOY MARIE U.

Wish we had earlier notice since we already made plans for moving and had to switch things around. This location was nice and friendly, just was farther away than I wanted or anticipated. I scheduled a truck for the 24/7 truck share, and when I arrived at 8 AM and clicked pick up my truck, it said that it was scheduled for hand delivery, which it was not, and that I had to wait until the store opened at 9. When I called customer service the woman on the phone was rude and not helpful, saying it was already 8:15 (since I was on hold for over 10 minutes before speaking to her), and that I can just wait until the store opens at 9. I was still required to bring my truck back at 3, even though I scheduled 7 hours and didn't get to pick it up until after 9. Once I got to the U-Haul employee in store, my reservation was then "expired" because I was over an hour "late" to pick up. I double checked my reservations and it was scheduled as a 24/7 truck share, even though the woman on the phone said it was not listed. It was an overall unpleasant experience, and not a great way to start a moving day.REBECCA MARIE S.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience at this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the horrible quality of the truck was unacceptable! The passenger door was bent so every time you opened the door it made a loud popping noise and also let air/rain in. Their was also damage to some of my mattresses as a result of water coming in from the roof bc of previous damage to the truck on the passenger side. Lastly, they did not fill up my truck before I left so I had yo spend over $100 just to get started on my 5 hour trip! I expect a major discount!ANN G.

We used the online system to order the truck. The online system is frustrating--it wouldn't let us indicate a one way move, so when we got to Kalamazoo to get the truck, there were problems. Thank goodness for Jasmine Rennshaw, Courtney Thomas, and Kayla Hawley! They fixed the problems and went above and beyond to help. They were friendly, polite, and above all, they knew what to do. Jasmine even gave us her cell phone number to make sure that we could reach her as we were fixing the problems. We have moved many times, and we always use uhaul supplies and trucks. The truck had the garbage of the last driver left in the cab. Beyond that when I returned the truck the person doing the intake said "I got you, you're all set". What he should have said is "bend over, I'll fuck you". He listed my fuel nearly a half a tank lower than what I returned and hit me with a $45 fuel charge. The genius should have also increased the mileage too because the mileage on the receipt shows I only drove 7 miles! Hard to use that much fuel in 7 miles! What a tool. We had an outstanding experience with the U-Haul. We were coming from three hours out of town and hit construction which put us behind our scheduled pick up time. During a busy moving season in a college town, the staff was kind enough to move our pickup and return time to ensure we had adequate time for our move. Pick up was smooth, the staff helpful and friendly. There was different staff on duty when we returned the trailer and moved into the storage unit but the service was the same, top notch. You should make sure that when you report a truck stolen, you also report it returned so that next person to rent it will not be stopped by two police officers on high alert as I was. When I reported the police incident to a young woman checking the truck back in, she provided the name of the office's manager, Jon Gilmore, and gave me his phone number. It would have been good service for him to return my phone call but he never did. I have rented from U-Haul and this location before but it is likely I will not in the future. It's difficult to say. I was stopped by police because the license plates came up as stolen. They held me for an hour as the called different places to verify my information. The gentleman that waited on me was very professional and courteous. He explained that the police had been informed but, for some reason didn't get around to entering the issue in their system. He made it up to me with price break, which I appreciated.EDGARL D.
