Stephanie C | First ImpressionsDue to my work schedule I’m a little disappointed that the facility no longer has 24hr access card option. I usually don’t get home until around 10pm so to access my unit I would have to add an authorized person to my account to get things into/ out of my unit during business hours. I had this in the past and it was more hectic to arrange. With the 24hr card for the gate I was able to get what I needed and home within reason, especially since it was inside the building behind a gate which only allowed access to cardholders not creepy people. I felt safety was valued. People know there are cameras everywhere so really haven’t had issues. Please reinstate this option!

PETER GThe gentleman in the morning at the desk did not seem very aware of how to do the check in. Took about 15min to get everything in. He tried running my card and kept saying my card was declining when my card worked fine. Finally got my card to work after trying several times. He even tried typing it in and said the security code didn't work. The second day I checked in online and when I came into the store to retrieve my keys and pay he said my reservation was not there even though I checked in online. This was not the experience I thought I'd have renting a truck. The woman at night was great. Kudos to her!

Akita V | Online Move InOnce again, couldn’t get the truck share system to work. I was trying to take pictures and it kept not accepting them. I went into the store and the woman working couldn’t be bothered to help us. She said “it’ll take a long time” to help us , when we were just trying to drop this truck off after a long day of moving a house. I got on the phone again and talked to customer service to finish the rental. The guy online was great and told me to put the key in the box. Well the woman at the front desk had the key because we thought she was going to help us. Doing what the man said on the phone, I took the key and told her I was going to put it in the box to finish the transaction. She gave me attitude and said “where are you taking the key?” I told her what I was told to do and that we had the truck share mobile option and she again with more attitude said “you can’t do that”. I told her I was just following the directions I was given over the phone. She again wouldn’t budge and made me feel like an idiot for following the rules. I said fine and left the keys on the counter saying the rental was returned. If I get charged for anything because of her, I will be filing a complaint because she wouldn’t help with anything and decided to do whatever she wanted to do when I was just trying to follow the rules of my contract with U-Haul.

HAYDER ACustomer should be informed they will receive a text with questions that are to be answered about the rentals condition. And to wait and complete before leaving parking lot. I didn't know about it. Was driving so of course I wasn't checking or reading text . When I got home and read the text I was unable to complete it. It only gives you 15 minutes to complete. And upload any pictures of existing damage. That's about the only thing I can suggest. Megan and Nikki were very kind and helpful.

The supplies we ordered were not in the truck and unavailable when requested inside the store. The truck was poorly aligned making steering somewhat difficult. Upon drop off the staff was rude. If online checkin is an option you should not be required to get the keys from the desk and instead they should be available in a locker system. Would not use again.

IRENE FMy van was reserved at a different location that was much more convenient and closer to where I needed the van. Although the new location provided excellent service and the van was fine, having to drive farther to the new location added more than 30 minutes to my task and cost me additional mileage charges and gas.

Melinda W | Overall ExperienceI called around to storage units all around the area for the victims of a house fire. My aunt is living in a hotel with two children and two dogs. The community was donating so many things she had nowhere to keep any of it. U-Haul was the first place to answer with no hesitation. They were more than happy to provide my aunt with a unit free of charge for a limit time while she gets into a new home rental. I can’t thank them enough for their support! They made the process so easy too!

I thought they were working with me when I explained I had a sudden death and the person I share it with died and now his items are part of estate. There is some inside stuff going on . Why would they sell my stuff for 9 $ when I'm offering the balance of 800$. And who does that to people at z time like this. These are migrating curmznstsnces to say the least. I've written the ceo , the BBB, the uhaul customer complaint department and a few more. This bully is illegal.

If it cost less, I probably would have kept my stuff in there longer. But over all. It was clean and secure. But prices could be better.

My daughter passed away… was actually murdered and the blanket that was over her casket and another blanket with pictures of her were full of mice poop and urine! This really saddens me because that’s something I can’t replace. I was told I had insurance then when I complained was told I didn’t have insurance and that it was easier to go through them directly then going through insurance. I was given a check for $1500 even though the things I lost was worth much more. I complained about my unit since January. I was honestly thinking about calling Mr Shoen because something needs to be done. The mice need to be dealt with! I forgot to mention my fireplace was ruined along with my daughters sneakers due to mold. Also I have videos to prove everything im saying

These items were wrapped in plastic and stored in uhaul boxes and were damaged beyond repair.
