Morton sensor lighting in hallways did not stay on when movement detected. No lights in units. If you don't bring your own light it's very hard to see in unit. Security screen monitor for clients/guests above entrance door not working. Dead mice and droppings found in my storage contents. Access card did not work. Mold found on boxes and furniture.

It really didn't make sense for a digital check in to drive around and then locate the truck, just to go to the office anyway and get the key... but everything was fine, it was just a bit offsetting to do extra if a rep was going to do it all anyway.

Fumigate the back of the truck. The odor was impossible to get rid of. I emptied a can of lysol and sprayed odo ban to no avail. The back smelled like rot and body odor and locker room after a game.

customer service needs improvement. only one clerk with 4 waiting customers when i arrived, two got upset and left. when i returned the trailer, there was no one inside the store to receive the trailer back. i looked all over the grounds, found some mechanics in back and tried to call to talk to someone in store but number posted goes national.

We've always had great experiences with Uhaul, for many years and in various states, as we are military, and very dependent on these types of services. So, when we found ourselves needing to do a "traditional activity" for our family and we did not have a truck to use to carry the 6ft-blow-up-cake, we thought about Uhaul... and sure enough Uhaul saved the day! Our granddaughter was very happy, as she was very surprised, and we made a point to let everyone know that we had to rent a Uhaul truck, at the "spare of the moment" to get this done. We went to one Uhaul place and their truck was already rented out, meaning they didn't have a truck, but they called another Uhaul store to reserved a truck for us....that was great, they coordinating with each other in order to help us, in a timely manner, is much appreciated. The courtesy of the staff needs to be noted as well. Thank you very much.

I rented a 26ft truck in the 10 yrs I have rented I have not been so upset. When I got time house to start my move, to my surprise roaches came out I sprayed and waited 30 minutes before I started loading half way through loading they started coming out behind the wall. glad I hadn't put anything on the main floor, sprayed again. then I put a fogger in there waited hour open up we was good to go. Request them show you your truck had been exterminated before leaving. I like 👍 renting from them this was just a bad experience.

It's hard to get a small truck from this location with only a few days notice. Even if the truck is only needed for a couple of hours and will be returned to this location. Would recommend keeping more 10 foot trucks onsite for daily rentals.

I wAs disputing the charges for my one-way rental. my contract showed return on 12 August and the vehicle only had a half a tank a gas. But I was charged for gas and an extra day I didn't heard from anyone but I went ahead and pay the charges because I want to stay in good standings.

Messed up my contract. My plan was to rent a car trailer to pick up my girlfriend's car that broke down in Oklahoma city and haul it to her home in Hot Springs Arkansas. Then proceed 192 miles to my cabin in Arrow Point Missouri. This idiot that billed me in billed me for a return back to OKC...that never crossed my mind..I certainly did not want to take it back to OKC. your agent totally botched the original billing. I called the Regional manager off a 1-800 Number the Agents gave me at Hot Springs. She did nothing to help me get it straight. Told me I needed to file a complaint with UHAUL..so here it is...poor company. Ill never use you again. If I ever need a rental again..it will be Ryder, Pensky,...anyone other than your loser company. Totally screwed up my trip and absolutely didn't give a damn to straightened out...BBB is going to get my report also.

It took me one hour and ten minutes to check the truck back in. Your credit card system was not working and the employees did not know why. I had to call my wife to drive to store. We paid in cash. It was a bad feeling when you are told your credit card was declined after trying four times with two cards. when your credit score is in the 800. Bad experience.

The truck had a hard time stopping, the steering wheel was incredibly loose and the back gate got stuck at the bottom and took a grown man to close and lock / unlock. Felt unsafe driving the truck on the highway. Should probably get that truck fixed before the next customer.

Was busy but took care of the customers as fast as possible and was able to fix the magees mess up as I took a pic of the fuel level when I picked up vehicle so wasn't charged

They should not be allowed to put pets in the cabs of those cars because people are allergic to them and sometimes yawls vacuums and I get all the paint here in one of the trucks that I did rent before it just reeked of a pet smell and I couldn't even rent that one so pray Brantley is OK but they should not be able to just leave their pets in the vehicle and make them smell and leave here all in the cabs

Not only did they not have the key in the box ready for pick up at the time of the reservation but we had to wait for someone to come in and get the key and the equipment that we reserved since it was apparent the truck had not been detailed before we went to pick it up.

When I scheduled my one way trip from Florida to Oklahoma, I needed to be able to unload my cargo at a self-storage unit. I was going to Allen, Oklahoma, but the closest unit available was 1.5 hours away in Oklahoma City. I agreed to that location only because it was free for the first month (though I failed to think about gas for my truck - not free). Anyway, I was concerned that a unit number had not been assigned when I saw my reservation and called the location weeks in advance of the start date for my unit. I was told that units do not get assigned until you show up for your reservation, but was assured that everything was in order for my reservation. The day of my cargo and trailer drop-off, I received a text message that my drop-off location had been changed. I called the original location again, and I was transferred to the call center with a 39 min. estimated wait time. I hung up the first time because I didn't actually have that much time to wait at the moment. After completing my errand, I called again, was transferred to the call center again, this time with a 19 min. wait time, during which I was forced to listen to repeated messages about going to their website instead of calling. I wish I could have, but I was on the long 1.5 hour drive to Oklahoma City. When the representative finally answered he said he couldn't help me and needed to transfer me. Then there was nothing...no annoying U-Haul messages on repeat, no music...nothing. Still I had waited so long already and was trying to navigate the truck and trailer around an actual train wreck, that I decided to stay on hold for another 10 minutes. Then I disconnected the call and called in again to the location, the estimated wait was 10 minutes. I lost signal on the drive just as that 10 minutes was up. I called in again. The estimate was 10 minutes. I waited and the representative again said she couldn't help me and needed to transfer me, again I went into the black hole of nothingness for 15 minutes this time. Then I disconnected. The next time I called I already reached the original location, instead of being transferred to a call center. Donna said that unfortunately, they did not have my unit available anymore and found another location 15 minutes away that did have one. I changed direction and went there. When I arrived, they said they did not have a unit available that was climate controlled downstairs as I originally reserved, but they did have one that wasn't climate controlled upstairs (sorry no elevator). They called around to other locations, but only one location actually answered the phone and they didn't have the kind of unit I needed. I walked outside to look at the self-storage area and call the original location again, but could only reach the call center, which again transferred me into the black hole. I returned back to the office and the employee had called one of the customers who was supposed to already move in and they gave up their unit. What a relief that was! Then they forced me to buy a special lock saying it was required, although 2 of the storage units right next to mine didn't have that style lock. When I go pick my stuff up, I will have my new fifth wheel trailer in tow and I am not looking forward to maneuvering through their lot. I'm glad this whole ordeal with U-Haul is almost over. Their system and customer service could definitely use an overhaul! I would recommend trying another service provider.

You don't prorate and that sucks. One day left in the month and you pay a full month. Have the storage unit one day into the next month and you pay a full month. NOT an economical way or place to store anything.

The lady at the call center was not clear on all of the rental details. I was not told that I had to go to the location to finalize the rental. I was not told that I had to use a certain lock. I was not told that my unit was upstairs. I am not able to navigate stairs very well. After a day of packing, I was very upset to learn that the only remaining unit of the size I rented was upstairs!! I had no choice at that point but to keep the unit. The young man helping me finalize my rental was very helpful.
