The online Application did NOT work causing me to have to have the cashier take a photo of my driver's license. Additionally, the U-Haul applications was still NOT working when I went to return my rental thus causing me to be unable to return my rental online and incure an extra cost. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Staff was excellent..the truck bounced alot. But it worked . The steering wheel for me was too high, can barley see the display, except the MPH.. I looked for a way to adjust the seat or steering wheel..no such thing.JOHNN P.

I am hands down, one of your most frequent customers at the Niagara Falls location. I have rented your trucks at least 20 times since 2018. I set up short term vacation rentals and my husband works for the film industry. We have rented trucks to move furniture, move sets; etc... 1000's of dollars I have spent with Uhaul. The staff at the Military rd location are just plain rude.. You'd think,, after renting so many trucks, that they would at least be friendly, instead they seem put out that they have to take care of me. I do from time to time, need to keep the truck longer...trying to extend the reservation is nearly impossible. If you dial local # it always rolls over to the 800 line and I am on permahold for 20 minutes , so I just hang up and keep trucks longer. Never have I damaged equipment, never have I not paid. I rented a pick up truck this week, it was due back at 11:30. The day of my truck being returned, I get an angry message from William at 10:58 am saying the truck needs to be returned immediately!!!!! What?!? I called back and of course, get transferred to the 800 line while I am on hold, William rudely calls again. I don't appreciate being treated poorly. I don't appreciate not being appreciated. I am done with Uhaul. 1000's of dollars spent with your company. Waste of loyalty to a company who has no value for their repeat customers. I will never rent from this location again.PAULASUE F.

I returned the vehicle at 10:30pm on 2/24/21. The next day, 2/25/21, I received a charge of over $220.00! I called the location and they stated that the vehicle wasn't checked into their computer until 12:00 noon on 2/25/21. I had recorded myself and my added driver dropping it off with a time stamp on 2/24/21. I was given a refund and paid $168.00. It seems as though the woman I spoke with was argumentative, but finally issued a partial refund. I can not believe this is normal business practice and won't be referring a single person to uHaul.SHANDRAE B.

I was scammed by your employees. There was damage to the van I rented. I was blamed for the damage that I did not cause. I was yelled at on the phone and accused of damage. We came back to your store were accused and cussed at by a store manager. I had a witness in the vehicle with me the entire time. We paid for the insurance just in case something bad happened. I asked about cameras on the building and was told they would review the cameras on Monday but I was charged the $150.00 for the deductible at 4am this morning. Where they had us parked we were sandwiched between a bunch of larger trucks that the cameras could never reach. Someone clearly struck it where it was left. Every one was back at the same time. I could not get the app to work when we returned and an employee told me if I did it with the internet that I had to just leave the keys in the vehicle and we could leave because it would be taken care of with our credit card on file. An employee accidently damaged our rental in your lot and blamed us for their mistake. Very unprofessional, actually disgusting. Now I was charged the $150.00 fee and not even given a chance to defend ourselves. I will never do business with U haul again. Word of mouth will probably cost your company a lot more money than you charged me today. Shameful.Travis D.

In addition to the problems with the truck I rented from the originating location, I described my issues to the staff at this location and they repeatedly blamed the driving conditions of the truck on being simply windy outside which is absolutely ridiculous. Having paid over $160 for this rental for the disaster of an experience I received and not being given a refund despite being in literal danger using this equipment, I will never rent from this company again and I will actively dissuade other people from using any of their rentals or services.Daniel V.

I didn't store food yet after a year in storage there was a tremendous amount of mouse droppings everywhere including my boxes!! The mice also tore up the newpaper i used to wrap my objects up with. The staff member was friendly, but didn't explain things well at all. For instance, I only realized after that I am paying for a high unit rather than a lower (6 foot) one. The staff member just assigned me the unit without asking which height I would need. I would recommend this storage facility with the caveat of asking tons of questions. I reserved and paid for an Outdoor, Pull up storage unit months before my move-in day. When I arrived on my move-in day, I was informed that there were no outdoor units available. I even showed the printed paperwork. They said there would only be one inside of the building, but it was on the first floor. This was a struggle for the people who helped me move in, as we all thought (as we should), that I was going to drive up to my outdoor unit that I reserved. I didn’t give them a hard time, they said they were sorry, etc. Anyways, it all worked out. (Mind you, I still thought that the replacement unit they gave me would still be climate controlled, as this is what I reserved to have.) When I arrived 3 months later to move out, I was astounded to see my entire mattress as well as my box spring were completely molded. All different colors. After checking the website and storage map, I found that the room I was given, 1271, was indeed NOT climate controlled. I also was billed $148 monthly, whereas I thought it was going to be $114 a month. Besides the moldy mattress and moldy box spring and the room replacement, the young male employees were always very helpful and super kind.Alexis B. | Overall Experience

The loading door is located opposite the entry door, which is not intuitive. There is a 2-3in lip at loading door that you must pull carts over, making it impractical to use them. Now, at first I was very pleased with everyone there, then I moved out of my storage there, told everyone I moved out, and told them I left, a large, empty storage box for anyone, and a empty Landry basket, to which the employees said, ok, and I wouldn't be charged anymore because I moved out, then I get a bill for a storage I moved out of on March 28th, yeah, your welcome, for the large pepperoni pizza, that's the thanks I get for buying you a pizza, you send me a bill for a storage I told you I moved out of, and you made no mention of anything else.Tina M. | Overall Experience
When I got the storage unit, I was told that I had to purchase a lock from Uhaul, even though I had my own lock. So I purchased one, then found later that I didn’t need to...also why does Uhaul need 3 phone numbers to rent. This is the only time I had to come up with three numbers...also the employee that helped me was a bit rude. I was told from another employee that he was new. Maybe I should have said something when I first got the storage. It was a month ago...every time I went to the unit after I never saw him again.
