From picking up the 20 ft moving truck at the Landings in Columbus GA to dropping it off almost 800 miles later at the U-Haul location in Lake St. Louis MO, our experience was excellent all the way around. The truck was clean, well-maintained and drove well, and U-Haul personnel were friendly and helpful when we had to change the pick up date and drop off date a couple of different times. For the most part the rental experience from making an online reservation, to picking up the U-Haul, to returning it was a success. The blankets/pads however was of the quality that left lots of lint on my light-colored, fabric couch and loveseat. Otherwise, the rental experience was fantastic!Elaine R.

1) The manager and staff were courteous. 2) Upon arrival my parts were not there. After a call he said they would arrive today and they would install today. 3) I was supposed to receive a call but did not, so I returned at 6:30 4) They did not know how to do the wiring, so they did not, although they did something, because... 5) I have an ABS and Tail-Light warning on my dash that I never had. 6) Finally, there was a new and terrible rattle under the car. After examination the next day I found both muffler heat shields were bent backwards crushed between the muffler and the floor pan. I have clear photos. 7) Now I have to get wiring done elsewhere... Overall a very poor experience, and ultimately will cost me more money and time than if I'd have gone to my car dealer.John L.

Have more service equipment for the customers. There was no dolly available for use when I had already requested one for my reservation. Also, when reserving storage space and rental vans over the phone, double check with the customer that the drop off location is able to have trucks/Van's dropped off. I had to change locations because the Uhaul place I used for storage did not accept truck drop offs, but I did not know until the day I picked up the truck.Sydney S.

It's not fair if you return the truck with more gas than you began with and not be credited for the extra guys, but uhaul will be quick to charge outrageous fees if one brings back a truck below than what they started with.Jonathan C.

The car hauler strap ratchets need to be lubed well before customer leaves lot. Straps took considerable amount of time to loosen. The ladies at my Uhaul took care of this once returned.MARK A.

I was accused of stealing a truck before they verified that I actually dropped it off. I was also told I can no longer rent a van which I do frequently to move boxes and furniture. I normally use a debit card, I never stole or damaged any property. I was charged an extra day and should not have been. I also rented for 3 days and they forced me to take a two day rental. I felt discriminated against and treated and talked to VERY Poorly like I was a common criminal and I've never did anything to Uhaul. I was told I coul never rent a van again without a major credit card but I've been doing it for yearsJEANINE T.

All these years renting UHaul (30 years). For the first time in my life, the guy who checked me in asked me how I was doing actually talking to me and really pleasant. The guy who I interacted was also amazing and pleasant too. Great too see still there are people who take a pride of what they are doing!!!! All my prior experiences with UHaul never experienced this. The way I felt was. â€œWe have the best price, you need my truck, it is somewhere ther go find it, you better bring it right on time and better bring it clean, get out of my face nowâ€AHMET T.

I reserved a furniture dolly to go along with truck and moving pads. When I checked in I was told there were no dollies available. Ended up not being a big deal, but worth mentioning had I needed to move a refrigerator.Ron W.

The app process was extremely slow and I still had to go into the store and wait in line to pick up the keys. Waste of time. I could have just as easily booked online then went to the counter to do the less quicker. I gave an average score for the location, because it is average for the Uhaul stores I've been in. My return was for 9am on Sunday, and the location did not open until 9am. So i just assumed it would be fine to return at 9:30. Nope. I received a call from the location that I immediately called back and the woman was irritated that I was not there and repeated over and over that she needed my truck back â€œnow,now,nowâ€ when I told her I was 5 mins away. I assumed they must've needed it for another rental. Upon arrival to the location they already had a parking lot full of every size truck and the return line already had 8 trucks in front of me. So when I walked inside there were two employees working the counter one female and one male. As i heard the woman speak, that was the one who was rushed and rude to me on the phone and she was giving the customer she was assisting with their rental a bit of an attitude as well. The gentleman behind the counter wrapped up with his customer and was much more pleasant and asked if i had any issues and took the keys from me and said my reciept will be coming via email and to have a great day.PHUONG D.

Your app is misleading in that it says to park in the location where I picked up the vehicle, however, upon returning the key to the employees inside, I was berated for not pulling it into the return lane. I explained about the app stating to return the unit to the space where I picked it up and mentioned that app is flawed if i did wrong and he said the whole system is wrong. He was agitated and it left a bad taste in my mouth and I was just thankful that it was not my wife returning the vehicle and being fussed at.Dykes B.
