I didn't understand the after hours drop off procedures, and they charged me an extra $20. I tried 3 times to reach someone by phone for help. Put on hold for 30 minutes each time, no help answered. Tried the 3rd time the next morning, waited another 20 minutes, only then to find out it was too late and my truck was already checked in and with an extra $20 fee.RALPH S.

The whole area was very clean and well cared for. There was a restroom in one of the storage units for the general public, that was impressive! The units seems to spray for bugs, so you don't have to worry about taking spiders home with you when you vacate.Ralph S. | First Impressions

not much every problem that sprung up This location had a gentleman working that was awesome ( I forgot his name) but he was working alone even on a saturday and when the mobile devices failed to work like they always do he was there to make sure my rental went great. Most places in Stillwater leave you hanging for a long time telling you its your problem and leave you with less time to move, not this gentleman he was awesome he needs a raise. very pleased keep hiim is my adviceJAY C.
The staff on duty was extremely cold and not helpful. We were there before close and the staff person was not doing anything. But they refused to help us drop off a trailer. I will warn everyone to stay away from this location. They apparently have a reputation for being extremely rude.Alesha T.

Customer service was very bad. The man that came out when I returned my trailer rudely asked me to turn on my lights. I mean why are you asking for lights before even inspecting the trailer? This seemed like an odd request so I asked for clarification. He responded, â€œWell obviously you have no intention of helping me so just leave.â€ I replied, â€œI'm happy to help, just explain what you want. You don't want to check the trailer over first?â€ His reply was, â€œNo, just leave. I'll do it myself.â€ Although the place looked nice and was very clean, would not recommend.STEPHEN M.

The agent that I spoke with prior to pick up wasn't very friendly and did not explain things very well. He seemed eager to get me out of the door. Also, when I dropped off my rental, the charges were different from what I agreed to at pick up. The difference was approximately $38.52 and even though it's not a lot of money, it's the principle. I still haven't been refunded the difference and after contacting my financial institution, I was informed that they had nothing to do with it. I tried calling, but after spending an entire day of packing, driving and moving, waiting for 39 minutes to speak to someone didn't sound very appealing.SHERRY F.

Many problems with this location and my reservations. 1. Rented a storage unit and truck. My account showed I had both reserved. I tried to do the online check in a few days before and it would not work. I contacted them and was told it wasn't working as I didn't have one reserved. Again, my account showed I did. I was then told by the manager of the location to 'think of it like eBay', that someone had booked the same unit at the same time and the first one to do the online checkout got the unit. He said I was â€˜beaten to the punch'. I don't see anywhere on their website that states they operate a bidding site. The manager then kept saying it was the software's fault and proceeded to trash the company he works for, blaming them and not his location. Again, my account showed I had the unit booked and that there was no problem. If I had not checked I would have showed up at the location to then find out they did not have my unit reserved. I was then told not to expect the truck at the time reserved either, as the people renting it before are notorious for not returning it on time. As they had sold the storage to someone else I didn't need the truck, but it was another reservation they couldn't meet. 2. I was able to change storage plans, but still needed a truck. I rented a truck from them again as there was no other option. I rented one with two dollies. Picked the truck up via mobile contactless pickup. Guess what? No dollies. I called the office and was greeted by a very rude man who could not care less that I had no dollies to move with. I mentioned this to the manager, who was very flippant and made silly comments like they 'can't just manufacture items'. I know that, but you could make sure the items I reserved are in the truck, or let me know you didn't have them. Tried to blame the software again, but this was a human error, especially the horrible attitude of the man who answered the phone. Had to move in 100 degree heat with no dollies! No apology from the rude individual answering their phone. The truck I did get was also horrible. Old and worn out. No doubt the manager will reply to this saying he did everything he could, but don't believe it. This location, it's manager, and their employee are rude and frankly a bit useless. If you have anything booked I would contact them to make sure you actually do, as nothing there is guaranteed. I highly recommend avoiding using them if possible.Dave E.

It was very hard to locate anyone in the office. I stopped by 10 times and it said they were out on the property. The number they gave was ultimately sent you to a call center for Uhaul. After holding 30 plus minutes 3 different times. I waited and finally received this notification. I actually moved out on the 6-18-2021. Thank you, JodyJODY H. | Overall Experience
It was so ill-managed that people were waiting for nearly an hour both picking up and dropping off their rentals. This location needs more than just one person managing it. I felt really sort for the young woman who worked there today, taking care of the front desk and even having to move trailers around using the mule. It was so hot I thought she was going to have a stroke. Although it's close to where I live, I probably won't use it again.DALE S.

I dropped off the truck the same day and during business hours. I went in and spoke to a worker and he took my key and said he would take care of everything. Be upfront about your prices. I was double charged for the dolly I rented. Online it showed my total charges would be around $53 plus mileage. I drove it less than 20 miles total. My total charges ended up being almost $120! I'm not sure how that happened!DAWN O.

Started recording my girlfriend and mother when checking out and almost fought them cause he was highly disrespectful and had a horrible attitude so they called him out on that. Guess why I stated the personnel were helpful etc at the drop off location? Because there were Humans there! The first drop off location...the one that I picked when in your app...was locked up and there was no one there to get the gate open. Your app did not tell me that the Richmond Street...in Stillwater, OK...location was an unmanned location. I looked up other locations in Stillwater, OK and went to the one on Airport road, where there were "Humans". I will likely not use U-Haul again if I can avoid it.TED T.

If someone is renting a truck and a space from your company online, it should be able to pick up and recommend a storage size that can accommodate that truck. For example, I got the 10’ truck for my daughters dorm and a 5x5 storage unit. The website should have told me that not everything in a 10’ truck could hold everything in a 5x5. It would have been nice to have had a warning that popped up telling me that the storage unit I chose may not fit what can fill a 10’ truck. I would have then gotten a larger one! Thankfully, by the power of God, I got everything to fit in there. But a warning would have been nice. Not everyone can see how big a 5x5 is until they are there. Then, I get a charge from U-Haul for no gas left in the tank when I turned it in. I (fortunately) took pictures and can prove there was more gas in the tank than when I picked it up! I ordered a lock online with my purchase and was unaware each locker already came with one. The employee at the front desk was rather lethargic and unenthusiastic to be there. Almost made me feel like I shouldn't be there. A lady out in the yard though was helpful and polite when I needed help finding the reserved locker. Everything was so expensive and over priced. I filled out the forms online and I do t think they got submitted correctly. I set it to pickup the truck, furniture pads, and plastic bins at 6 and then got I call that I was supposed to pick it up at midnight. It also took way to long to check out the equipment and way too long to do the return process. I also never got the plastic bins I was supposed to. The key drop area wasn't noticeable so we almost just left the keys in the vehicle because we didn't know where to drop them off. I don't think any of this is the fault of the people working at the local uhaul center, I think it's just a bad business model/setup in generalDOMINIC W.
