So, moving is listed as one of the top three most stressful events a person will ever experience, right? Well if you want to make it the number one most stressful, then look no further! Robin at the NW Expressway store has you covered. I ordered my vehicle ahead of time through excellent customer service reps at the 39th and Tulsa location (Shout out to Chris for being kind and helpful!) and then had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Robin at the NW Expressway location. I came in to pick up my vehicle and she asked what my plans for the vehicle were. Moving. Did I really think I was going to need my vehicle for the multiple days I had booked it? Yes, that's why I booked it for multiple days. Then the fun came down the pipe. "You know there's a catalytic converter thief going around? He's gonna find you and he's gonna take the converter off this truck and you're going to have to pay for it." Well, I said I'm not too worried we have security cameras and it'll be stored in a safe place. "Oh you're using this for storage? Oh forget the converter he's gonna hotwire this truck and steal all your stuff and then you're not gonna have anything and you're gonna owe us a truck." I could go on and on about how she continues to go on and on about how all our possessions would be stolen and that renting the truck was a horrible idea but I'll move on to the way she treated the customer who walked in while we were dealing with paperwork. Her first words to this person were, "Oh I know you're not standing there looking at the menu like you ain't got a reservation. We don't have anything for you." Needless to say during the entire time I had the reservation I was so stressed out about theft or catalytic converter bandits that I didn't sleep for three days straight. So. I would personally like to thank Robin for her excellent maneuvering and making the process of moving truly the most stressful time in my entire life.Becki N.

This is the SECOND time I have been charged more than what my receipt says. Yes it will come off in 3 days but it's still annoying. I also got charged before I dropped my truck, then when I dropped it off I did not get a receipt in my email. My total was $77, my bank account says $99 was charged. Truck blew a tire after 15 miles. Tires were obviously worn and uhaul knew we were driving ~400 miles. Added 3 hours to our already long drive. On top of that, a last minute change to the pickup location wasn't ideal. The reservation was made in advance I'd expect uhaul to ensure the vehicle is at the expected location rather than pushing that to their customers.Ryan G.

Next time let me know that the $5.00 furniture pad rental is $5.00 per day .. It does not state that in the agreement nor was I told that by the rental agent. For $25.00 I could have bought a suitable replacement and kept all 6 of them....Patrick A.

You never know who you are talking to or what the customer does. Comments made and pictures being taken of the customers setup (trailer hitch) can be taken as a insult. Several issues. I was misinformed about return policies that required me to drive an extra 40 miles to return a trailer. I was told by an employee that my reservation had been flipped so many times as the reason they had the wrong date, when I only changed it one time. Overall, the employees were just RUDE to me, treating me like I was always in the wrong. I will never use this location or refer this location to anyone. I had much better experience with the Quail Springs location. JUST TERRIBLE ATTITUDE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU SHOULD FIRE THE WHOLE TEAM.Robert D.

The location we picked dodn't have the truck size we reserved over two weeks in advance available so the day before they offered either the size up or size down. Size up (26 foot) was too long for our location so we had to go with the 17 foot instead of the 20 foot we reserved. On the day we are to pick up the truck when we arrived they said it the 17 foot one hadn't been returned so we only had the option of 15 foot or 26 foot. We had to go with the 15 foot because 26 foot was too long for the space we needed to get in. Now with a shorter truck we had to take 2 trips which cost more in gas and mileage as well as having to keep our movers an extra hour for an additional cost. This additional cost is all because what we reserved wasn't available. The staff on site were rude and said we could drive to a different location to get the size we wanted. We reserved the truck at that location because of the convenience and proximity to our house, telling us less than an hour before movers get there that we could drive to a further away location was inconsiderate. What's the point of a reservation if you can't provide what is requested? Ended up spending an additonal $150 because the size truck we asked for wasn't available.Stetson B.

1. Inform customers that products (i.e. furniture dolly) will not be available PRIOR to the reservation date so that the customer can make alternative plans. 2. When inform the customer that there is no furniture dolly, it would have been helpful if the the person behind the counter could have attempted an apology or some sort of regret as opposed to a matter of fact response that I was given. 3. Cleanliness of the cab left much to be desired upon my picking it up. 4. The only positive aspect to my experience today is the check in process upon my delivery back to the location. She was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. 4. After using several other U-Haul locations, I found this location to be the most efficient and clean of any I have tried. Reserving a truck by phone with them, was finished in under 2 minutes, may be less than one minute. Of course that was possible because my information was already in the system. On arrival, the two women in the office were exceedingly well-prepared for my arrival, and check out took less than 5 minutes. The only delay was really my fault. Return was the easiest and fastest ever. The same person saw my arrival and hustled out to complete the return. I highly recommend this location.Martha H.
