The store was great! The reservation process took far too long and is misleading. All the questions regarding boxes, storage, labor, etc should not require an answer. We are smart enough to know if we need them. A simple selection of trailer required and entering type vehicle is enough. We changed the quantity U-Haul had entered and checked "no" on every answer. When we arrived the lady asked us all the same questions as it showed we wanted blankets and storage. ThanksJOHN A.

Truck was damaged, no one walked the vehicle with me to acknowledge damages. No one walked to vehicle with me to show me which one I had the keys to, just told it was out front, went to the wrong vehicle. Lady that took reservation was nice but maybe in an irritated mood, lady in store was super nice and helpful however none of my info that I had done with the lady over the phone or saved online was in the system at the location. Guy that took the keys upon return was a less than pleasant. Took the keys and didn't say a damn word other than he had to check the mileage. I stood there and waited for nothing until the other lady told me I could go. When I got there someone had parked behind my car preventing me from leaving when I was through because there were not enough handicap parking spots. Would like some compensation for the wait inconveniences as they were set backs. Give the check in lady at the location a raise.JOLENE C.

Great management and staff. JQ,Angel & Ronica Jeff, Assistant Manager, Lot maintenance person mechanic. Everyone was always courteous and professional. Always suggested extra products that I needed. JQ knew which boxes I needed to purchase and exact quantity. Davis Hwy Uhaul made my move & storage a less stressful time. The entire staff needs to branch off to management at other Uhaul stores. When I arrived to pick up my equipment the trailer they assigned me to hadn't been checked in yet from another customers rental. Looking back I understand this seems to be a running trend here. Ok so after assigning me the wrong trailer they assigned me another at my rental agreement has two pieces of equipment on it by mistake! Assured this wouldn't be an issue I signed agreement hesitantly! At 1:45 three hours early I returned the trailer in person. 24 hours later the trailer was finally checked in and my final receipt emailed to me this was after I spoke to a CSR from the 800 number the same day that the rental was returned and was told she'd email the GM. She said give it a couple hours then check my online account. Woke up the next morning to find it still there so tried calling in and my call was dropped 6 times. Then I tried chat feature was dropped-disconnected from one agent. Then spoke with someone that told me there was absolutely nothing they could do until the location checked the trailer. I called the location and spoke to the agent at the actual location and he said he'd get it checked in. 3 hours later I received my final bill. This was a complete nightmare and has me totally rethinking any future business with uhaul. I feel like this was a scam by the location to bill for extra days.ANDREW R.
Employee (Jeff Dawson) did not properly attach the trailer and left the nose of trailer pointing downward. This caused too abrupt of an angle on the tail end and I damaged bottom of my bike's engine trying to drive it up the (too steep) ramp. Then I spend the whole day trying to resolve the issue. Turns out that the ball hitch I purchased from Uhaul needed to be inverted. I have never pulled a trailer with a car, but its seems to me that the employees at Uhaul should have noted the problem and inverted the ball hitch before I left the site. What was to be an easy load/offload turned into a very miserable day!CURTIS M.
An employee stole my personal items and I just live chatted with uhaul.com and a police report will be filed today. It was a on camera but only half of my items were recovered. I will NOT be recommending this location and I will be advising all of my friends to stay away from it.Kiersten N.
U-haul was dirty upon rental. Customer service took at least 20-30 minutes to reach and once I would get them on the phone they would hang up on me. Definitely not going to be using U-haul unless it is for emergencies because I am not impressed.Matt H.

Uhaul as a company needs to start holding renters responsible for late returns. I sat at the Uhaul location for three hours waiting on the return of the pickup truck. The customer that had the vehicle before me smoked in the vehicle and it smelled of cigarettes. I had to purchase air fresheners to help with the smell. The tailgate had damage to it. I am not sure who called me from the corporate call center, but she was not willing to help. This was a terrible experience as whole. I had to go to Uhaul do to a shortage of other rental vehicles in the Pensacola area. I understand that the employees at the store are not repsonsible for the other renters actions, but UHaul is. I was not offered anything for a late pickup. This is unacceptable.Andy T.

I paid up front for the truck but I never picked up I never got the truck. The truck never left a lot. So I asked for a refund since I didn't use it and the manager said that since I had the key charge me for 11 days $443 and I never even got in the truck. That is irrational, unethical, in this time of crisis it is heartless, and pitiful that I have to write this bad review because people don't know how to listen to the circumstances and make exceptions to the rule when necessary. I drove by there every day and they had three 20-foot trucks but side-by-side so they did not need the truck and if they did what they could have called me but they did not they charge me day after day after day looking at the truck sitting in the lot. I would like a refund of what I paid upfront because I never used the truck. Thank you for your consideration in this matter I guess it's youjust need a new manager. Someone who can step outside of the box. To accommodate a special circumstance like anybody else would. Not a robotANTERO M.

I ordered a dolly and a furniture dolly with my Uhaul, they did not have either available whenever I picked up the truck. Our truck also had the check engine light on, and check fuel cap on. We were not able to go above 40 MPH which really slowed our moving process down. They did upgrade us to a 20 foot truck which really came in handy with our big furniture and reduced the amount of trips we had to take. Pick-Up and Drop-off was quick and easy and the truck was clean.Taylor P.

The whole experience was horrible. First the location was sent to was 30.monutes from my home no courtesy call to say we have no truck.. Got there and there's no truck. The clerk started waiting on me no excuse me ma'am i need to talk to the customer. After being there for 20minutes he sends me back to another store 30?minutes away this one being right by my house. He can the other man a truck from there but sent me away. The man who helped me at the 2bd store was nice l. However when i got back with the truck at 6:30 they were closing & wouldn't wait on me. Even though i saw the lady in there she ignore me even though clearly they were suppose to be there u til 7pm. She justledt me there in the dark to fend for myself . The lady called me the next day to tell i left my license there, i ask her about closing here she tried to deny it. I am disavled& could have used the help or at least stay there & process my paperwork. I was not & still not a happy camper about the serviceMAZZIE G.
