Excellent service. Made online reservation. After arriving at UHaul place went inside and gave them my name they looked up the information on their on their computer, showed them my driver's license, went outside with attendant , backed up my car to trailer that was ready to go, he hooked it up and I was on my way in ten minutes.

I received outstanding customer service from Brad, whose friendliness and efficiency transformed an otherwise mundane chore into a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. He greeted me immediately upon entering the store to check out a moving van, thanked me for registering my driver's license online (which speeded up the checkout process), and had me in my van in under 5 minutes - amazing! Brad provided the same excellent customer service during the van return process. I would highly recommend Pittsburgh North Shore U-Haul to anyone in Pittsburgh who needs to rent moving vehicles or equipment.

I will never use this u haul center ever again. Guy who answered my call refused to give me his name and name and number of the district manager! Tried to over charge me for several extra fees for absolutely no reason. I'll take my business else where guy was really rude and called me a lliar and I have all my proof!

Bradley Mankey, the GM of the location on Western Ave was awesome - we got the wrong size truck initially and he helped us work it out and gave us a great deal. He was totally understanding of our mistake and found a way to help us make it right. He turned a frustrating experience into a much more pleasant one. Thanks!

I get a Truck with between a quarter tank and half full, impossible to get exact amount pumped in, the ignorant kid was like it's all explained, well I did it online impossible to see all fine print, kid was like too bad pal and do you think we are going to pump gas into all of our trucks, I've rented 4-5 times last year and half and always had full tank, of course other locations Attitudes were really poor. Assistant Manger heard whole conversation and never offered to speak to me when he was done with customer. He just let employee talk smart to me... Never Again Horrible Service

The staff was amazing. I ended up switching from a pick-up to a cargo van after realizing that the truck would not work for what I needed. The staff was very gracious and accommodating to quickly switch me over to a cargo van. I truly appreciated their great customer service.

Not sure I will use uhaul again or recommend it. I paid for 12 moving pads but did not get them, not blaming uhaul because I forgot them as well, no big deal. When I called to report this, after over 20 min on hold I was connected to a customer service rep named Steven who told me the system was down and he could do nothing. He would not listen to my issue and was a very poor example of customer service. If this is typical of uhaul I will go elsewhere.

Hello. Service was great at the counter and shop, but the equipment hand multiple areas of damage/scratches there were not marked with an “X” that I needed to dispute before driving off the lot. Also, the pull-out ramped was covered in dirt/rocks and could not be used during loading/unloading making the overall move much more difficult.

The app was not usable, either when initiating the rental, or upon return. The photo upload just left the screen in the holding pattern and I wasted at least 15 minutes trying to push through the information with the screen just having a spinning icon upon rental. When I tried to return using the app and take a picture of the dash at 5pm (right at closing time), the picture didn't work. I was panicked because I thought I'd have to pay the $20 late return fee. Thankfully the individual who processed my rental came outside while I was trying and helped me close out the rental. It would not be fair to impose a $20 fee on someone when the app clearly has bugs and will not work for photo uploads.

The truck was clean, but the steering wheel shook a lot when I drove it. Probably needs an allignment. It also slid when I braked coming downhill. I told them to check it out before they rented it to someone else.

Access in the parking lot is limited. I was in the building at my locker and when I came out, people returning their trucks locked my car into the parking lot. Luckily an off-duty worker was walking by and saw my dilemma and helped me out. He opened the building and moved one of the vehicles so I could leave. The facility and employees are great. The parking lot and vehicle access is not great.

The interaction from start (Shelton) to finish was EXCELLENT. I use the service to pick-up son's furniture and the service agent knew the right size vehcile to use and was exactly right! The young lady Tyra at the end made the best suggest to finalize my transtion(gas), I appreciate her! She was very professional and personalable! She is an asset to the effortless encounter , at this location! I always use this location but this last time my experience was beyond horrible! We returned with a large load of heavy furniture only to be blocked from entering into the lot by a large U-Haul truck some idiot parked blocking the entrance. There was a woman and her family blocked in the other side and couldn’t get out. My husband and I had to unload the furniture and squeeze past the truck to walk or heavy belongings very far to get to the entrance of the storage units. Unbelievable! We were on time restraints and this really messed us up along with making us extremely overly exhausted. We actually damaged some of our furniture just from not being able to physically carry the stuff properly that far anymore. Highly disappointed! They need a better system.

The website is not very intuitive. I had to call customer service to complete the process. When I got to the facility the agent started to enter all of my information all over even though I told him several times that I had done this online. He asked for payment and then realized that I had paid online. I was never shown the entrance to the storage or anything else about the storage. I was also confused about the free month storage and/or the free lock. I ended up with the free month but had to purchase a lock.

Fairly easy to learn and use. Great service and product. Staff was always helpful. The only negative was that the card reader to get into the storage facility didn't always work when I swiped. But sometimes it did. 🤷. I moved into a bigger place and no longer need the service. Overall, UHaul has a great service. Thank you!
