The staffing situation at this location was very frustrating. There was only 1 employee for the entire operation of checking in and getting our cargo carrier. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes in line and put our entire day off of schedule. We felt so bad for the one guys who was handing so much, and then luckily a second employee showed up as we were leaving but the line was around 15 people long. Very frustrating and it wasn't the one guys fault, he just was not set up to succeed by his manager.Thomas C.

Line was very long. Staff was kind and helpful. Kept telling me about the access card swipe doent work and to just ignore if it errors and just go to the unit. Not alot of confidence in the security offered seeing as anyone can ignore the security and just come in. Have a drive up unit, which was sketchy. The truck I rented had serious mechanical problems. The steering was too loose, making the truck difficult to handle. At first I thought it was just the automatic steering and I needed time to adjust to it but that was not the case. The engine was weak and the linkage/carburetor/fuel injectors were sticky and made maintaining a consistent speed impossible. The headlamps were not adjusted evenly, the right side lamp was brighter than the left side and they were positioned differently. The dashboard and screen visors were brittle and broke when I used them. The facility itself was understaffed and there were several customers waiting to be helped. The staff, for the most part, ignored the people waiting to be helped and one worker actually turned his back and walked away from a customer who ended up shouting to him for help. That employee disappeared into a back room without ever acknowledging that there was a customer in need. I will never go back to U-Haul and will actively dissuade anyone I know from using U-Haul. I ran into an issue here and I could be right, I could be wrong, but it's over now. I rented an 8' pick up. This thing was a very much newer model Silverado. However the front end was totally mangled and the passenger piece of quarter panel was getting ready to drop off. I returned the truck later the same day with no hitch. I went to my car to put my stuff in to later leave, and returned with the guy doing the walk around, only to find that there was a sizeable gouge in the side of the bed. This was automatically pinned on me, but I only had the truck 2 hours tops and would've remembered what might have caused this, and if it were me, I would have heard it. They took me for another $150 despite having the damage fee waiver, which sounded a lot to me like it would've waived any minor damage. I wasn't told there was a $150 deductible when I agreed to rent the vehicle and paying the extra $10 for what should have been peace of mind. I'll be avoiding this location from now on. $220 I didn't have for something I had no clue about, and am almost certain wasn't my doing, because the truck was in less than acceptable condition on the outside when I picked it up.Jeremy L.

The people at your counter were FABULOUS! But you only scheduled two people to work at 10 on a Saturday morning! What were you thinking?! I got there at 9:45 for my reserved truck. Waited in line for an HOUR. Then the truck was filthy so I waited longer for the very nice staff member to clean it. MEANWHILE, BECAUSE OF YOUR SCHEDULING, HE WASN'T THERE TO ASSIST ANYONE ELSE. SO THERE WAS THEN ONE GUY AT THE COUNTER AT 11 AM ON A SATURDAY. SERIOUSLY? WHY DON'T YOU HAVE THE COUNTER FULL OF EMPLOYEES AND A COUPLE IN THE YARD FOR TRUCK CLEANING/GATHERING OTHER RENTAL EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS. THE PLACE WAS PACKED!Leslie P.

The online reservation was quick and easy but the online pick up and return were not as easy. The button to take the pictures only took me to my gallery with not option to take a picture. I had to go back and forth between the site and my camera to know what picture was needed and then have the picture in the gallery ready to choose. Didn't have the correct payment card with me when we went to pick up the truck. Assistant indicated it wouldn't be any trouble to change it when I brought truck back. Only one clerk working at counter when doing return. He was helping a customer check out truck and said he would be back in a few. Waited quite some time and another guy walked through and asked which truck was mine and asked for the key and left and did same with customer behind me. I did not know he was checking truck back in to tell him about the card situation. He came back and handed me a receipt and said I was ready to go. I asked about changing the card information and he told me it was too late. I asked him how I was supposed to know he was checking the vehicle back in and would be processing the charge? He was rude and not willing to offer a solution. I hope my next encounter at this facility doesn't involve him. Communication is very valuable and a little more than what I received would have been helpful.Kathleen E.

Made a reservation. Showed up to pick up trailer and not there. Asked about the reservation guarantee and got told to call customer service. Tried that. Wait time was crazy. The moved my reservation from 12:30 to 4:00 without telling me. When I did finally pick up my car hauler trailer I found out the hard way the brakes did not work at all. I forgot the name of the guy that set me up with the trailer when I got there but it was the best customer service I've ever had. He put a new ball on my hitch and replaced a fuse to get the lights to work on the trailer. Was extremely nice and helpful. The guy that helped me when I returned the trailer wasnt very nice at all. About half way through my stay, a Uhaul rep called me and stated they would need to cut my lock off to install new security system. I gave them approval as long as they put another one on and left me a key at the front desk. After my wife tried to get the key she was told they would never do that. After about a week of trying they finally came out to remove the lock again (assuming we locked ourselves out) and came to the realization that they had the key in one of their drawers up front. Pretty disappointed at how much of my wife and I's time was wasted. Facilities are incredibly expensive compared to local storage.Andrew J. | Overall Experience

The local UHaul staff and knowledge is great. The local staff are very helpful and go above and beyond. The phone system and national UHaul experience is horrible. The wait times are excessive. Every call is transferred to at least 3 other "departments" and sometimes you MUST go to the local UHaul to have your question answered or need resolved. Corporate is terrible. Local is amazing!
