The truck I ran it was in terrible shape it was dirty and nasty on the inside were the two seats The steering wheel lift dirty marks on my hand. I told no the person that was checking in and checking checking things out when I brought it back that it had need it a alignment because the steering wheel goes one way in the car is going another way. I did register as a mobile pick up but got there 30 minutes before closing. I was struggling with the app so I went inside for help. I waited 45 minutes while one person helped customers. Other employees were walking in and counting registers when they could have helped the line to move people through more quickly. There were 5 people in line. When I got to the counter at 7:15 they moved my reservation time up 45 minutes and did not help me get my truck. The lock boxes and drop boxes for the keys were not well marked in relation to the vans and it left me searching the parking lot for 20 minutes and the locks took forever to open. It would have been simple for an employee to switch me to a regular pick up or simply help me get my key unlocked. I understand wanting to leave but if they simply worked together to help people and focused on customer service they would have been out more quickly and left a good customer experience. I rent frequently for business and will not use this location again if I can help itJill M.

Truck had damage all over and the truck cab smelt like a skunk and the drivers door had to be constantly slammed hard to close cause door alarm would go off, dome light didn't work in the back of the truck so I loaded by moonlight,, the truck was completely filthy and and till had a strong skunk odor in the cab even after leaving windows open and loading up the truck so I pulled over searched the truck and I found drugs in the truck door in a deep cubby in the door.a marjuana blunt which was left in driver's door left by the previous driver.i took a picture and I forgot my phone at home to show them when I returned the truck.I told the staff they didn't seem suprised or care that i had been given a truck in the condition or that drugs were left from previous driver.As I walked away I heard both workers laugh thinking it was funny.its not. I'd thought this should be brought up to your attention so this doesn't happen to another customer. I could have been pulled over and charged or arrested for drugs in texas.JENNILIN B.

When someone is leasing it takes some time of the cashier and other people that just need items at the store have to wait for a while. I was lucky I learned about the self-checkout with the app on my phone and was able to finish quickly but many people still don't know about it or how to use itâ€¦Antonio L.

They rented me the only 10 ft truck available for a 1 way trip. After just a few minutes in the truck with the AC on, the smell of old urine became over powering. I used a can of lysol to try to kill the odor, but it did not work. I drove that stinking truck for 5 hours. This should have been addressed before my rental.BRUCE W.

Upon paying the storage it took so long for someone to answer. A couple of months ago I left a message for the manager and never received a call back.Conception C.
The man that was there Sunday afternoon was really lacking in basic customer service skills. According to my rental sheet the truck was full of gas. It was at 7/8 of a tank. The miles on my sheet was 10 miles less than actual and the right rear tire was low. After putting air in tire I noticed it had a screw in it. Not surprised, I had to kick 2 bolts that were on the ground all around truck so I wouldn't get a flat. The truck was clean and nice. The woman that checked it in Monday was as nice as she could be. She should give hairy grumpy some lessons. It just a shame that mediocrity is so prevalent today. Why is there so many sharp objects on the ground all around your equipment. I imagine it's hard to get good help and that is very sad. I like uhaul but the next time I'm going over the equipment with a fine tooth comb. Thanks a bunch!DAVE W.

Online option for checking out the trucks is awful, doesn't save any time from just going in to the counter. And you still have to go to the counter to pick up keys. Need to be upfront with people before they select the online 24/7 truck share option and can't switch back to counter check out.Celina O.

On the video it showed the wiring ran underneath tell gate into a mount bracket. Instead he showed me the wire in the trunk and I'm expected to open the rear hatch hang the wire out and close the hatch on it. Very cheap & unprofessional installation.John H.

The whole experience was terrible. I was charged for a second day/late fee when I was 45 minutes early. My time to return was 8:30 p.m. and I returned around 7 p.m. The guy said he saw me on camera so he would fix it. The app wouldn't work checking in and the guy was going through my phone. I had other confidential emails and pages open as he was scrolling through the phone. It was super hot outside and my partner could not get in the cargo van because it was too high up. Last time I rented a van, it was a lower version. I was trying to lift him up and pull him in for about 20 minutes. He had another stroke the following day. After moving all the items and him getting overheated, I found him the following day on the floor. I spent the next couple of days in a terrible ordeal at the ER. His stroke was worse. I wasn't given a receipt or reimbursed for my mileage and charged an extra $20. I left a message for the District Manager and still haven't had a response. I had to return to remove everything I just moved a few days later, but went to the Alta Mere location. I was charged an additional fee, but the representative fixed it because the previous customer did not fill the tank. The Altamesa experience was terrible and life changing for my partner. Look it up on the camera! I want the DM to respond. I have used UHaul since 1984.PAMELA C.

The guy at the checkout was extremely detached. Was saying things to me that made his co-workers laugh. The first thing he said to me was â€œokay man do you think I can help you?â€ After seeing the argument before me I said well I sure hope soâ€. He then went on to tell me they don't load up cars onto trailers. Asked me if I can read and write. Told me to You-Tube how to do it. This was the first time I was told to go YouTube something from an employee. This was one hour before I had to move.Travis S.
The gentleman working the front desk was rude and unapproachable. He seemed more in tune to curse out loud about someone not doing their job as opposed to helping me. He was irritated that his computer didn't work and really seemed to hate the world. Very poor experience and probably won't return to this location. The physical location is fine, and the employees great. However, the online return program was a complete failure. I chatted with two online representatives about how the process wasn't working for me, to no avail. I was recommended to call customer support, which I did, and waited so long that my phone died. Then I was charged the money for not properly going through the online return process. So, again, the location is fine, but I will absolutely think twice about using Uhaul again.Joshua J.

I do want you to know you may want to watch your video on 7/18/21 afternoon around 2-3pm. Your employee driving your trucks was driving very dangerous..he almost flipped a truck, he was squealing tires as he drove around the corners.. my husband went in to talk to a manager, he was told there was not one on duty.. this employee could have hurt or even killed someone with the way he was driving.
