We lost tread on a tire which caused us a 2 hour wait. One hookup chain fell off during my trip. During my pickup the location charged me more than the reservation charged me. Even with the same rental time frame. It was fixed by changing the drop off time which ended up being less than the original reservation.
Noel RiveraChris was "Awesome" to say the least! We called while we were en-route to my daughters house to rent a trailer. He tried to find me a smaller trailer in the local area but there wasn't any so I went with the 6 x 12 that he had. He is very knowledgeable and his customer service is excellent. He actually helped me with my pin for the hitch because it was defective. I had to purchase a new one which was readily available. He also did a great job hooking up my trailer and gave me a safety brief. I didn't get the young lady that initially waited on me but she was also great. Great employees
Arthur SullenbargerUnfortunately, the POS system was down and the location was short staffed. Only 1 employee. I had a /pm pickup time and had planned to go counter less. That wasn’t an option. I then had to wait 30 minutes to get my keys and go. It caused me to miss an important work meeting.

Garry SommersVehicle maintenance should just double check tire pressure… Had to return because rear van tire was low on air. Last time I rented a box truck, and the wipers did not work, and again had to return for repair. Slight annoyance, but will still use this location as it is very convenient and the workers are very helpful and friendly.

LAWRENCE FECHORising the coast because of where u have the most trucks is BS. 1K to 1500. Put a better tire on ur trucks I had rent truck for another day because got the truck stuck in the yard where the other 4 truck I rented did not have a problem

Cesar SalazarI would recommend this location, but anything else no, the only reason I went to this location was because I frontally set up at 5th street Reading. Moved me to a private place which the person was not there at 9am for us to pick the truck up, it’s get better, then the jerk called me 3hrs after I cancelled the order to let me the truck was there. Yea no duh! I moving an hour and a half away from Reading I didn’t have that kind of time to freaking kill. I’m sorry but that is bad over all service and for that I will never rent from U-haul again.

The system let him rent us an available storage unit but when we arrived at the unit it was padlocked and actually not available for move in. The staff member immediately called his manager and then corporate Uhaul to see what could be done and if there was an available unit close by. Neither were helpful to him and ultimately for us. This staff member deserves better working conditions, he truly went above and beyond to correct a situation that should not have happened in the first place. We lost over an hour of precious moving time to this situation. We now have our daughter's entire apartment crammed into our home, still trying to organize that disaster. We have been moving our college age and young adult kids with Uhaul for years. This was probably the last time though.

I have to cancel my space and look for another storage location which has caused a big inconvenience to my mom as I have been holding her stuff and paying for a Uhaul because I can’t find storage. I am so upset about this. I’m sorry, but I would not recommend Uhaul for storage units per the space for the price they require.

For this reason alone I called customer service and complained due to the lack of professionalism and regard. Customer service apologize for this location's behavior and said that I will be contacted by a manager within 72 business hours. I was never contacted so I followed up with another call to customer service who apologized and put in a specific request to the traffic control manager with a reference ID number of 2651806 and I should have been contacted within 72 business hours by this specific manager. Due to not receiving this call I called again and I was informed that the manager of the Shillington location Debra Antonelli said that she apologized so they closed out the case. However, I never received an apology from Debra and told the customer service agent that Debra lied and has never contacted me let alone apologize. A few days later I am contacted by Debra, which follows, "Hello. I am emailing to apologize if you felt that your issue was not serious matter and I am glad that you have your licence back. If there is something else that can be done for you in the future we will be here to serve you. Thank you for your business, have good day. Debra" My reply to this email was, "While I appreciate you reaching out and apologizing, I am unhappy with the fact that it took so long for me to receive an apology. I am also unhappy with the fact that a representative stated you previously reached out to me directly, apologized, and therefore the case was closed. However, this is the first time I received an apology. This apology does not sincerely apologize for the inconveniences your location caused me due to having my licence in your possession for a month. The apology does not cover the flippant behavior of Richard who chuckled at the fact that his colleague who I previously spoke to decided to mail the licence weeks after I gave her my address. This "apology" does not resolve my case and I believe I should be compensated for the inconvenience, unprofessionalism, and disrespect I received from your location. -Shyree J. Gonzalez" I did not receive any communication back. Due to all of this I decided I will no longer give my money to this company and removed my belongings to be stored with a company who are respectful, considerate, and professional. When I removed my belongings Debra (who did not wear a mask) serviced me and did not apologize for anything. I received an email that asked for my feedback and when I click the link it states that I've already given my feedback. Usually I'd think that this is a glitch but due to the lack integrity shown by this location I decided to give my feedback another way encase someone did something unprofessional and unethical again. I will also be reporting Debra and this location to the United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration since I have witnessed Debra interact with/service clients inside and outside the facility without wearing a mask. My move-out date was 6/26/2020 and I expect to be able to see my feed back until the end of August 2020.
