Two months later vandalized by thiefs who were jailed and bailed out and came back for Revenge. It was said ours was the only Rv targeted. What a nightmare! In 2019 we went on many lists to be able to find safer Rv storage. It took many years but FINALLY in 2022 found a more secure location.

LILLY R | Overall ExperienceEverything was good except for the lighting by my unit, 2333. The light would not stay on for more than 2-4 minutes at most. I would have to walk out of interior of unit & walk down the hall to turn the light back on. Then it would go out 2-3 minutes later& have to walk the hall again! This became VERY IRRITATING if I were trying to work or organize my efforts! Checked a couple of times with staff to see if possible to keep light on longer. Solution I was told to move to unit that the light was on constantly. This is a problem of being able to work at unit the 2 1/2 years I used it. I am not a complainer, but a single woman & moving was not an option. The light is on sensors & I would have to walk the hall every 2/4 minutes to be able to see & work. Very irritating & affected feelings about U-Hall facility. I feel a patron should be told lights are not always available for work or organizing for periods of time in certain units. I am gone now so this complaint will have no affect, I am sure. Experience was satisfactory, but U-Haul will not be known as a favorite for me.

Nicole G | Overall ExperienceThe Manager Robert gave away the unit I reserved the day prior with employee Travin, forcing me to find a new unit somewhere else and pay more money. I've had a larger unit for 3 years and was downsizing to a smaller unit. He wouldn't even look at me or the papers on the counter that were from the previous day, for my unit. He also charged me for moving pads that i didn't use and that weren't even equipped on the truck I rented a few days prior. Other employees were present with both horrible experiences with Robert. My wife was shocked when Robert said "people buy units all the time, I don't know". When i closed my unit out Travin was working and all he could tell me was that Robert just sold the unit. We are long term customers in both trucks and units and have never seen anything like this, and to do it around your employees just shows them that this type of customer satisfaction is okay. The worst service i've experienced in a very long time.

She said I don’t know it could be tomorrow morning it could be in the afternoon I felt like she was being very rude and short with me However I needed a more helpful answer because I knew that it was only me removing the items and that I need to get them out in one day I was not able to do that because I was not getting any clear answers so I told her I didn’t want anything in there and removed the lock. I now live in California and ever since then you guys have been bothering me with Bills saying that Owe a balance when I don’t need or want any items in there to my knowledge moved out of the unit. If the lady upfront was more helpful I would have removed those items and you guys wouldn’t have anything to Bill I’m not sure why you guys didn’t just throw stuff away anyways when I tell the rep every time you guys call that I don’t want the items and I moved out.

Glass broken and my antique hutch that’s very Heavy was broken beyond repair. Glass to my living room tables broken. Book shelve broken. I think you guys did a very poor job. I need someone to be held responsible for the damages. Of course I’ll NEVER utilize you guys service EVER again.

MARK N | Overall ExperienceThe overall experience with UHaul Storage was alright, but I am deeply upset with the Corporate operation. According to this facility's management, all communications are generated and sent from the corporate office. During the past 4 months - the Coronavirus period - UHaul continued standard operations with no regard to our limited funds. They continued to demand on-time payments and added the $20.00 Late Fee, plus emails and letters were mailed out to notify us about charging their $50.;00 Lien Fees if payments were not made within their time limitations. We responded within 24-48 hours to the Corporate email with no response at all from UHaul. We find it difficult to believe that major businesses have announced that they are being most cooperative with the consumer, allowing them to make later payments or set up a payment plan without penalties during this difficult time, but there was no such announcement or similar offers from UHaul! Even Landlords of Housing Rentals have been encouraged to be more lenient with their tenants and have been instructed by our Federal and State Governments that they cannot evict tenants during this difficult times! I may have elected to continue renting my storage space at UHaul for a longer time, but corporate's failure to follow suit made my hasty decision. I have no complaints with the Oso Blanca facility's management, they were courteous and as helpful as possible - it's the Corporate "Big Wigs" that I am completely upset about. For this reason alone, I would never recommend UHaul Storage to anyone.
