Arrived around mid-night Sunday. Driveway was blocked by a truck left with the doors open and there was barely room to pull the truck and trailer in let alone park it out of the way. There was no one on duty which concerns me in this neighborhood (I'd get a guard) and being this busy. We were tired, wet and sore and didn't appreciate that we had to drive this 20' w/ car carrier from Macclenny w/ a tire going flat late at night because when we called for help we were told that we couldn't change the drop off location to Macclenny (1 mile away) from Jacksonville (25 miles away) until the next morning and we'd have to wait for road side assistance which would take several hours. This is not what I'd consider acceptable customer service. You need to fix that problem because it created an unnecessary unsafe road trip "because the truck had already been reserved again". Really? A truck with a bad tire is already rented out to another unsuspecting customer? What the hell?! :-(DAVID G.

For any First Timers, please take the time to address any concerns they might ask, show them what is needed so that when the leave your facilities, they feel comfortable in what they are renting. That DID NOT happen that way for me. The person I had was trying to be " Super Girl" by taking care me and another at the same time and still did not show me what I wanted as a First Timer rental for this particular type of rental. And what I rented caused damages to my Bumper which made me very upset. I believe it was due to her(staff) rushing trying to take care of more than one person's at a time instead of making sure ALL is completely satisfied before they leave the grounds.Therease M.

Not much can be done at this location to improve! The General Manager is professional and she keeps things moving. Every time I have come in (Its been a lot in the last 2 years) the store has been busy but she keeps the customers moving, willing to answer questions and be courteous all at the same time. A couple of her other female counter employees can take a note from how she handles customers with professionalism. That would be my only suggestion.STACY A.

We won't recommend U-Haul again due to the customer service received during the return process. The return location specified on our rental agreement (Victoria Motors in Jacksonville, FL) RUDELY REFUSED by phone to allow us to return the U-Haul trailer because they had no room. When we arrived after closing time, there was plenty of room. I called U-Haul customer service several times for assistance in finding a location to return to and waited 15 minutes each time to speak to a representative and was deliberately hung up on twice! Some of your representatives are EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL!!! We went to 4 rental locations before we found a place that would accept the return and they were WONDERFUL (5630 Phillips Hwy, Jacksonville, FL). Unfortunately, we will NEVER rent or recommend U-Haul again.WILLIAM W.

I was late to pick up my reservation and spoke with a lady at this location. I told her I would be there in 20 minutes. I arrived five minutes late and my reservation was cancelled. A gentleman was able to get me a truck but I lost the appliance dolly and the furniture pads I ordered. My reservation, once confirmed, was moved WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, to this location by your system. On the day of the move we were told that the site we HAD chosen (about 2 miles from the location we DID get the reserved vehicle at) DID NOT HAVE OUR RESERVATION, HAD NEVER HAD OUR RESERVATION, and had no clue what we were talking about DESPITE our having an email confirmation dated THE DAY BEFORE the move. It was pure dumb luck that we went to the location that the reservation had been switched to that morning. The email saying our reservation had been changed arrived AFTER the reserved time for pickup. A complete cluster. Will NOT be using UHAUL again.richard W.

This was the location that finally took my drop off. They were helpful although they told me that this was not my assigned drop off destination and there would be an extra charge. I agreed to the charge as I had to get rid of the trailer to make an appointment. The additional charge ended up being $0 so unnecessary drama there.GEORGEDAVID Z.

1st., did reservation for no contact pickup which didn't work and had to go inside anyway. So what's the point of jumping through all the online hoops just to have to go inside and waste more time. 2nd., I could have used up the memory on 2 smartphones just taking pictures of all the dents, scuffs, cut seats, and more in overall prior damages to the truck. It was at least clean inside minus the long term hand smudges all over. 3rd., The accelerator tends to stick and over revs while driving. 4th., The steering is all over the place like hearding a cross eyed pig. 5th., Finally the brakes grab way to hard especially in traffic and this is made worse when the accelerator is sticking.Mary F.

I was sent to the wrong location by someone at the Western Way location. The location I ended up at was farther away, which caused me to have to pay more in gas mileage. Neither location had the vehicle I had reserved so I just rented whatever was available. I have been using u-haul for twenty years. My wife has a florist business and we use U-Haul an average of once or twice a month. This time I had a reservation, as I always obtain, however, no cargo van when I arrived. I found one, an hour later at the U-Haul at jacksonville's downtown location. My unit, 527, was very difficult to close the latch. I noticed several dents above the latch like someone beat it with a hammer. I got it closed but almost asked for another unit. The staff does not make customers a priority. The one girl is super rude. She will ask you what you need and then go help someone else - she did this to me twice. The first time I stood in line, when I needed help returning my truck she walked outside with me, then said “I need to get the form and I will be right back”. She went in to help other people and when I asked her if she was going to come back to help me she said well I have to help these people in line first, and I said I already waited for 30 minutes in that line to be helped. I had to wait another 20 minutes for someone (a guy to help me). Forget trying to call to ask 1 question, I was immediately put on hold for 10 Minutes before I could even say hello or ask my question. I had to call back 20 times before someone answered the phone, thankfully it was a manager who was able to answer my question to close out my unit.
