Make sure everything works properly. The windshield washer did not work. Having to stop to physically clean the windshield was not fun and time consuming on a 1300 mile trip in snow and wet weather. I stopped and filled the washer fluid which had no effect. The washer did not work at all.

I absolutely am satisfied with this particular U Haul facility. All above answers are very correct. HOWEVER, MY DISSATISFACTION IS WITH U HAULS POLICY. My rent on three units was due October 24 so I even paid Oct 23! I knew on the 25th there would be a late charge. I did the right thing. The very next day we were notified that we were closing on a house. I made quick arrangements for movers for Saturday and Sunday and all units were vacated by noon Sunday! When I went to U Haul to get "my expected refund" Mike Fenton, very nice owner, showed me the written policy of U Haul (refer to contract) and said he could not go around it to help me out. I believe him. HOWEVER, I paid almost $400.00 for two and a half days of storage! NOT FAIR do you think?For this reason I would not recommend U Haul. Again, employees and owner have all been kind and helpful.

Do not have your employees upload customer's DL using their own phones. Don't you know about the HiPAA policy? When I questioned this, your employer got very defensive. I when through with the transaction because of Rochelle reassured me it was ok and that she would delete my driver license from Scotty's IPhone. You should have a better system to upload information because this was very uncomfortable for me. In addition, I was told I was going to be charged a different price. When I returned the truck, Scotty did not give us a receipt. He did not even bothered to tell me that he would send me one by email. When I received the email this morning, the amount that was charged to my account was very high. I have been doing business with U-Haul since 2002 and I never received such bad service from an employee. You should train your employees to work with the public, after all, we don't get anything for free — not that I want it but at least being pleasant would with customers would help your ratings.

The gentleman behind the counter was great. He told me the new features on the truck which was perfect. He was awesome. However trying to set the appt on line was ridiculous - put the correct info in but at checkout it kept putting in incorrect info. Finally called 800# and ordered it which was faster and easier.

Mike was very kind. I utilized the free 30 days for storage but had too much stuff to fit in a 5x10 so at no extra charge he bumped me up to 10x10 which was the perfect size. His customer service skills were great and his professionalism was exactly where it should've been as an owner. If I ever need storage again I will defintely come back and use Mike's facility. His crew was very nice and his property was not only very easily seen from the freeway but also very clean inside the units and on the property. Thanks again for everything Mike!

The only reason this is getting a 2 instead of a 1 rating is because of the guy that helped us inside the office. He was very nice and understood what I was trying to get done. The reason this would’ve gotten a 1 is simply because of the main number to UHaul. I called 3 times because they kept sending me YouTube videos that were literally no help, and when I tried to tell them what exactly it was that wasn’t working, they were not listening. I was on hold 3 times for 20 minutes each time trying to get help. All 3 ended up telling me there was nothing they could do to help. Literally no help. I was thankful when I got to meet the guy inside, I think his name was Nick, but he was very helpful to a frustrating day. I very much appreciated him!!

The man who helped me took an hour and 15 minutes to get us our uhaul that was already rented online the night before, but he insisted we start all over from scratch in person. He had to start over 3 different times because he insisted i pay for 3 days when i only needed it for a couple hours. Multiple times he tried to charge me for a 3 day rental and i had to correct him. Finally after an hour and 15 mins he brings out the uhaul..mind you this WAS my moving day that was supposed to start at 11:30...its now 12:50 and he brings the truck out without any dollys..i tell him we need dollys and he informs me he forgot to ring them up and insists i just move without them otherwise were gunna have to start all the way over. After awhile he just gives us a dolly without checking it out, for free. Its now 1:00. Finally no more problems i think. Wrong. Come to return the uhaul after hours and i cant because the guy didnt even rent it under my account but charged my card. Finally found my contract number and found out how to return it without an account...and what happens? They say they have to charge me a second time because the first payment was never recorded?? Absolute BS and waste of my time. Next time, I will drive into Coeur d alene and pay the extra $100 in miles and gas just to avoid this location and the guy who clearly had no idea what he was doing on the job. Get it together uhaul. Very disappointed.

10 ft truck had so much water that the Mgr had to literally sweep water out. But he made sure it was dried out and even gave me a plastic cover for my mattress so it wouldn't get wet. He went above and beyond to make sure the truck was in good condition before I drove out. Great Customer Service!

Caution! Two Uhaul stores are side by side. One is serious about business, other is not. Suggest you drive to locations before making decision. Poor decision by Uhaul as it causes confusion and frustration.

Alot of questions from the representative at time of return. Not used to that in other states. Usually they only check mileage and overall condition and then close it out. I recommend re-evaluating the check out process. Checking all the turn signals, headlights, and break lights on a vehicle that only has 2200mi on the odometer is a waste of customer time.

-There should be 2 people on staff so customers who need help don't have to wait when the 1 person leaved to clean a truck. - there should be a back up for if the customer can't find their key...

The truck I used did not have the get up and go to make the small hills in Spokane with out slowing down to much. If this truck was to go on a mountains trip it would cause headaches for the customer's and the traffic behind them like I did today. I was not loaded heavy or full either

I have rented from uhaul many times, but this one for some reason wasn't a good one. From the time of walking in to pick a uhaul with no reservation the owner seemed annoyed to help me. The computer was having issues loading to accept my card. The guy became frustrated when I misunderstood the terms and ask for him to repeat it again. Then when leaving the milage on the uhaul paperwork said .6 of a mile but vehicle said .9 not a huge deal but ok. Then right after leaving the uhaul, vehicle drove horrible. I thought it was because I havnt drove something that big in awhile but no. I am mechanically inclined and know vehicles quite well and that power steering pump was shot. When turning it would randomly buck the steering wheel and making it stiff to turn to where in the 10 miles I drove that uhaul I almost crashed twice. Not cool. Oh and let's not forget to mention that the cab leaks a steady flow of water above the head liner. Let me tell you having your entire leg and foot soaking wet was quite the experience. I took pictures of the headliner its rotted for being wet. But let me tell you what really set me off is when I was explaining to the gentleman the issues he was unaware of the leaking roof, but he sure knew about the power steering and when asked him to grab the steering wheel to check himself he said, "oh I know I drove it drives like crap. We had our mechanics out and they said that is how fords drive." I call serious bullshit more like someone who is uneducated in his profession and may want to think twice about his career. With that being said what does it have to take for someone to listen that especially they know about this issue and it's not being fixed. Explain to me what you would have said to me or my family let alone someone else's if I were to have crashed into someone. I'll be waiting for your response mickachapman@gmail.com.

Our original point of pick pick up was 14505 E Sprague Ave., Spokane Valley, WA. We where told our vehicle was located at a site located on E Indiana Ave. The change in location was not communicated to use prior to our arrival.

The truck was good, but the steering was very hard when backing up and turning around in tight places. Also the seatbelts indicator kept beeping even though seatbelts was buckled. It kept going off which was annoying.

It's a really small area, and mostly for storage units rather than trucks. It was also a bit confusing having this location called "U-Haul Moving & Storage of Spokane Valley" when there are multiple U-Haul businesses in Spokane Valley. Other than that, it was perfectly fine.
