Van had no as antenna radio didn't work. Vehicle steering wheel was off it wandered on the highway.

The only staff person when I arrived to pickup the truck at 9am Saturday was a hard worker and hustled, often "multitasking" to try to alleviate the line of 4 or 5 customers. I did have to wait ~15-20 minutes to get the vehicle, the only drawback. The drop off was quick, easy and seamless, greeted by friendly personnel. It all worked out and my move went very smooth. Thanks!

fine.The clerk was alone on a Saturday morning , his computer kept freezing up. Needless to say, we had to wait a very long time. Other than that, the clerk was apologetic and the rest of the experience was fine.

Only one person working. Plus mobile checking was horrible photo of I. D. Never went through never to mobile check in again. Got to uhaul at 825 for pick up and didn't leave there until 9:40. Over a hour just to pick up a truck that was reserved online.

Truck was fine when I picked it up made it to Compass Self Storage went around the corner to buy a lock and a coffee came back every single light on the dashboard came on they towed it it's been a week and they telling me they're not going to give me my money and then he tells me it's not going to go back on there until that mechanic figures out what's wrong with the truck what the f*** does they're mechanic fixing the truck have anything to do with my deposit it's a f****** broken truck that you're trying to make money off of people

Well let’s start by letting you know the equipment I rented wasn’t there. They called me and stated the 26 ft I reserved wasn’t going to be there in time so I rented a 17 ft. The day before I was going to pick up the truck I was advised the 17 ft was going to be there. The only thin they had was a 15 ft. (They gave 50 toward my reservation). It took me 4 trips to move everything which cost me money, but I figured the 50 dollars would help out with the cost. When I arrived the cost was 129. So I inquired about the 50 dollars. Why wasn’t it added. They stated it was going towards your next rental. I have rented from U-Haul twice in my life time and the 50 dollars will never be used. Your company not having the equipment offered cost me money and what you did was give me money towards my next rental which will never be used. Terrible business.

Although the representative that handled me was polite, I found the overall attitude and policies to be unprofessional. At checkout the rep made sure to OVERCHARGE me for the mileage, using incorrect mileage information. Very unprofessional policy to demand a backup reference phone number for someone that must be answered immediately; with no prior notification of that requirement.

I was given a "reservation" on August 13th for a truck rental in Quincy MA for August 31st . I was then called on August 30th (the day before my move), and a rep told me they had trouble filling my "reservation". Instead I had to get a truck in Taunton MA, which was a 50 mile trip from my former address. I found it insulting how the rep explained that reservations are "estimates". So what's the point of reserving a spot? If I go through the effort to reserve a truck, I expect someone to give me a heads up if they run into issues. Calling me the day before to break that news is unacceptable.

I think the manager in Taunton was respectful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My move was extremely stressful he had us in and out quickly and did not waste a lot of time. I liked that the person who delt with us had his face on the paperwork not some random person you never see. I was stressed by the college week experience and I know from now on I will never move on August 31 as long as I live. I don't know if U-Haul borrows from surrounding states but they should that week at least. Of course that was not U-Haul fault totally mine. I just didn't realize because I went to school in N.C and my child is only 12 but I will remember to reserve a truck the day he graduates from High School.

The guys at return were terrific. Truck was perfect and ran super. Good brakes. This rental was a real joy throughout! Highly recommended.

Fuel was almost empty. Location manger incorrectly marked fuel at 1/4 when it was almost empty in actuality. When in brought it to his attention he just recircled the fuel level and said I was all set. When returning the truck, I had to bring it back at 1/4 per the contract and I have not been given a credit for the mistake or incorrect fuel.

Manager very surly and didn’t listen that I had a few more items that I was returning to pick up. My card was deactivated so I initially couldn’t get back into my unit. The woman at the desk assisted.

Very frustrating! I was overcharged on the first day and tried to resolve it for two months with no response. I called over 20 times. Even contacted owner directly several times. No response!
