The Taunton Manager was great. He noted that my hitch ball was actually the wrong size (been using if for quite some time) and the locking threads were stripped. He quickly installed the correct size and made me feel far safer towing, both this time and for future tows!

I was very impressed with the service and supplied vehicle. I wish I had asked if I could have kept the vehicle for 24hrs as this would have been a better option for me. Now that I know the price of rental would have been the same for 24hrs I will keep that in mind for my next rental. Thank you.

I reserved a 20' truck at the Attleboro, MA location SIX (6) WEEKS in advance. I chose Attleboro because you told me there were no 20' trucks on that date in North Attleboro - that's fine. The week of my reservation, a woman named Tracy called me from UHaul to let me know my rental had been downgraded to a 15' truck. She offered 60 extra miles on the rental "so I could make multiple trips" OR offered to let me pick up my rental in Providence, RI. How is 6 weeks not long enough to reserve the truck we needed, that you said was available? Tracy could only say it was "subject to availability." That's not a reservation... it's a request. You didn't "reserve" anything for us. I'm not pleased that you guys value my time so little that your solution to being unprepared for my "reservation" was to offer that I drive further to pick up the truck OR drive further to move my stuff in multiple trips. Six weeks is a long time. Plus, if it was no big deal to ask ME to drive to Providence, why couldn't you have just moved the truck to where I had "reserved" to pick it up? Then you could have honored your word. People go to your company to rent trucks so they can move their belongings to new homes... why would you add stress to that by treating people with such little respect and empathy? I'd like to be clear here - your employees were amazing and respectful. Your company policies are downright rude in this instance. I have to do extra car rides between my apartment and my new house, after moving all my furniture, to get all my stuff moved and I'm wasting a ton of gas AND TIME, and it's because you guys didn't honor my reservation. It takes an hour to drive back and forth round trip. My TV stand was broken in the move and my kitchen table got scratched because I didn't have time to wrap them after you guys ripped the rug out from under me. The icing on the cake is that when I went to pick the truck up, someone in front of me in line said, "I'm here to pick up a 20' truck" and got it. How far in advance did he make his "reservation"? How far in advance do I have to ask you guys to live up to your word? With all the money and time this has wasted, I'm just gonna pay Penske the $450 next time to make sure things go the way they're supposed to. Thank you to whoever is reading this, I know it's probably not your fault but I'm just appalled tbh. My tone is obviously not directed at you, rather the company. Happy holidays.

When I walked in I was greeted right away, this location is very clean as was the van I rented (5 stars all around)!

I rented a 26' truck. There was only 1/2 a tank of gas in it. It was difficult to judge how much gas to put in it to return it with a half a tank. The return was quick and easy. I didn't have to get out of the truck. The guy checked all the lights upon return, but they didn't check them when I picked up the truck. Good thing they all worked.

This location was fine, this was not the location I made my reservation for. I made a reservation for Pawtucket, RI, near my apartment. Less than 24 hours before the pickup I was notified there is no truck at my location anymore. I had to go to Taunton to get the same size truck, an extra 30 minutes each way which added on 2 hours and a bunch of miles to my trip. I will not use Uhaul again, usually use Penske, decided to try Uhaul to safe a few bucks, in the end it was a huge frustrating endeavor. I made the reservation weeks in advance and received confirmation only to have it taken away at the last minute. This is a frustration I font need when I am under strict time constraints. Use Penske, they're top notch!

the rental process was very unclear. I rented a trailer online at a specific location to only find out the next day to find out it was at a different location an hour away. also an issue with the drop off location I was told one place then it switch to a different one the next day...i proceeded to rent 2 single trailers witch the process took over an hr. it is next to impossible to get a person on the phone. I was a bad experience.

You're business tactics are not going to work for long time. You had a chance to gain a long term partner but decided to screw and cheat me on the day when We needed your vans the most. Your 19.95 advertising ended up being over $200 per day. Your promise to hold Cargo Vans for us was thin air. You hided your cargo vans on the back of the building while you forced us to rent cutaways with 1.08 dollars per mileage. All while inflating the mileage. You are pathetic, a thief and a looser Stephan.

Tell customers to turn off haul when leaving... also calculate correct mileage i rented from taunton as it was indicated closest to me in fallriver, yet mileage was calculated from taunton to weymouth instead of from taunton to fallriver to weymouth

We were a little concerned after we first reserved the unit because we never received an email confirmation. We called the to inquire and were told the reservation was confirmed and our email was corrected - but still no email confirmation. Non the less, when we arrived on move in day, a unit was available. The staff members was very nice and showed us how the security worked and where our unit was. The only drawback was the unit was a fair distance from the loading area. And we walked past many other units the seemed to be available. All in all, we are very happy with the experience so far. Free locks and a free months rental because we reserved a truck. Can't beat that! Thank you.

Allow people to use the equipment for the amount of time they requested. Also have more associates present on the busiest moving weekend of the year. Took almost an hour to be handed a set of keys when I already reserved a truck. Also not sure why this location doesn't open until 9am on sundays when it's open at 7am every other day. Couldn't finishing moving on time. Very very poor experience.

When a customer books equipment, it's expected to be there. I was delayed with my move costing me time and money and lots of aggravation. And your GM was not willing I I accommodate me for my inconvenience. Not happy.

The evening that I tried to move in the doors were locked and with in the hours listed as accessible The following day I returned there was a corporate walk through with Probably more than 20 people And only 2 or 3 Uhaul employees wearing protective masks They told me and my 14 yr old niece to pass through but I didn’t feel safe in this situation I asked them to put masks on and a few people for what ever reason did not! The sole reason I’m putting my possessions in storage is a result of the virus. I’ve now become the main caretaker of my 80 yr old mother These employees put my whole households health at risk. I lost more enough people here in Taunton and in my former home of Miami! This blatant disregard for the pandemic is for lack of a better word DISGUSTING

Customer service... Don't forget parts of the order and when not busy in the least, walk the customer out to the vehicle. I had to walk back in because I was concerned that the gas take was 3/4, I always fill it up when I rent. Walk out the cart that's rented to the vehicle to go over it as well. Just a lack of customer service, the Raynham location does things differently. I get it .. but doesn't take much to go the extra few inches.

The fact that the charge if I brought it back with 8 miles worth of less gas and was going to be charged 31 dollars is baffling to me. There's no reason that the charge for gas should be that much. It's bad business and poor taste.

I was told to drop off a truck at a location and after 30 minutes on the phone and a call to the manager uhaul finally determined that there was no drop off box. This was by far the worst experience of my life.

Your on line return was very difficult. The app took a very long time to load. When it finally loaded and the information was in the app I was continually kicked off. After many attempts of trying to submit the information I gave up. I tried to complete this for approximately 1 1/2 hours or longer.

I was meant to pick up the uhaul at 9am. I didnt get to pick it up until around noontime because the location was closed. I called the reservation line and told I would have someone there soon, changed to 11am in 30 minutes. The staff was kind and helpful when available, I was offered a $50 reimbursement on my card for the inconvenience, though it has not posted yet. I planned on calling back to see if there was just too much going on. When I returned the uhaul, I was told the gas level had to match. No one told me that when picking it up. I ended up going and filling it, to avoid the excess charge--$50 total. When I brought it back to the drop off location, it was saying to charge me thousands of dollars because I went thousands of miles. I had been given the wrong truck for my reservation. This was an upsetting scenario, though the drop off location fixed this mistake for me, saving me untold money. Communication could be improved upon.

I did not receive the furniture pads from the pick up location which really gave me issues during the move, and it was too far out of the way to go back and pick them up. More time should be spent with the customer during pick up I feel so mistakes aren't made.
