The guy that checked us in.... Talked and mumbled so fast cause he's use 2 sayn his speech, but he definately needs to slow down. He told us the truck was right outside, we couldn't find it for a while, then the lady came outside and found it and walked around it with us to check for damages, when the guy just told us to go do it and mark any problems on the paper. I didn't like that and there wasn't anyone else in the store where we could see he was busy and his way was understandable.

Checking the equipment back in shouldn't be so difficult and time consuming. When I picked up the truck, the owner informed me that they had only three dozen furniture pads rather than the four dozen I had reserved. She was apologetic and I told her that that should be sufficient. When I returned the truck and pads, she had charged me for the four dozen and had charged me for a second utility dolly. The staff member checking me in had NO IDEA how to make the changes and further had no idea how to use the $25 U-haul certificate despite numerous phone calls over the course of an HOUR. Sheesh! Is it really that complicated to use the U-haul computer system or is it the business model to overcharge and wear the customer down. As it ended up, they will SUPPOSEDLY fix my billing amount and issue a credit for the (purposeful?) overcharge within the next 4-5 days...

Dont promise your customers the uhaul then call us during our move and tell us we need to return uhaul. Then the lady hung up on us. We had to call corporate Very unsatisfied.

Provide an itemized invoice for the charges. My quoted price was not honored and I didn’t realize it before swiping the card. The employee said he couldn’t show me the breakdown of the cost or fix it. Also, I wanted to pay with cash. I purchased the insurance for the truck. Then I was told there would be an additional $100 charge to pay in cash. I was never told this in advance, and I don’t understand the purpose as cash is gold compared to a credit card that you aren’t guaranteed to get your money from me. After all was done, the employee also forgot to show us which truck was ours, as there was no identifying information for me to locate it based on the paperwork I received.

It was crazy how different my pick up experience was from my drop off...

The people at this U-Haul location were very friendly and helpful. Apparently the cargo trailer I rented has a small leak - after an overnight rain while parked, a piece of furniture in the front right corner of the trailer sustained minor water damage. Not enough to puddle on the floor, just enough to transfer moisture through the corner seam.

I think the prices are very high when you are also expected to bring back with a full gas tank. It makes it over $500.00 to drive round trip to drop a child off at college. There needs to be a cheaper option. Especially with current gas prices.

The instructions stated that all I had to do is show my phone to the clerk and they would immediately get me my key. I had to wait until she was done with a customer to even be acknowledged. Only to find out that it was on my time as she was doing this as I did not get my time clock started when she got done. My clock started at 8:30 even though she was the one holding up my clock. I was a bit offended

The truck transmission needs fixed and I tried to extend my time over the phone and in person, with no luck. So I got charged an extra 50 dollars that I do NOT agree that I owe.

I rented a 6X12 trailer. I asked for a tripod for the tongue but was told I could not have one even though the posters in the showroom included a picture of the tripod with the trailer. Without a tripod it is very difficult to couple and uncouple.

I needed a pickup truck for something I bought at the Goodwill! I couldn't find anything until I stumbled upon this site. The initial order was taken over the phone; they were very helpful and not pushy at all. When I came with my son the next morning, the girl at the desk was very helpful and when I brought it back (a brand new Ford pickup) my final price was much less than I initially thought! Thank God I found this place!!!!!

The uhaul company on fountain st in Akron Ohio took about $50 from my $100 deposit because they said I went over my miles when I paid to drive from Pittsburgh to Akron that's all that was done. They kept trying to get my PNC card to refund my cash but my card is not compatible with uhaul so I had to pay cash so of course they kept telling me I did not pay cash but they finally told the truth but I can def tell it's alotta of bullcrap going on at that address and whoever they are are determined to get over on people and lie jus to take people's money that do no deserve to pay extra for things they never used. If I went over the miles I would happily pay for it but i went from uhaul in Pittsburgh straight to uhaul in akron. I only stopped at a gas station to get gas on the same route to Akron and uhaul storage unit. That maybe was a extra 5miles but not a extra 40 miles. Of course I payed it but never will I be satisfied for paying a fee for something I never used.

Didnt need the trailer for 4 days and that was minimum. Stood inside office for 20 min and no one came to help me. I had to go outside and find somone.

The employees that were there, Christina and crew were wonderful. They went over and beyond what they had to do to help me out of a tough situation. Even though their computers were acting up that day; they handled it. I'm pretty sure helping me to load pallets isn't in the job description, but they did that and were terrific. I will definitely keep our company coming back there.

When I used the 17’ Uhaul to move my apartment, my furniture the next was wet. When I returned the Uhaul, I let the lady know and she requested that I made a claim. She then told her coworker that was working with her and they went out to check the Uhaul, came back in, handed me my paperwork and didn’t tell me what I should do or if it was okay and didn’t show me how to make the claim.

Everything went downhill when the old manager left. New manager is hard to get a hold of and the new staff has no clue and are rude. I should have moved out months ago.
