There were a couple of bright spots in regards to the customer service agents: call support specialist Kayla, front assistant MJ, gen manager James Kelly were all fabulous. However, there was another call agent who never provided her name and works WITH Kayla who acts like the customer is bothering her. That girl is RUDE and does not want to help anyone. Also, the persons in charge of dealing with the uboxes (pick up/shipping/tracking/delivery) need to be FIRED. They LIED to me & Mr. Kelly regarding whether or not they had fulfilled their duties/promises regarding my expensive order. They did not care at all about it when it was brought to their attention. Their names are Rachel & Rich. While I am exceedingly appreciative of the good persons I interacted with during this experience, I have no plans to ever use uhaul for any long distance shipping ever again.Evelyn H.

Had a reservation at the spruce hills location for a cargo van but when I arrived they didn't have what I reserved. Was sent to west Kimberly store and they had me taken care of in no time and out the door. The staff there are really easy to deal with. First off, I had to go to a totally different location then requested because they couldn't be bothered to move a truck to desired location. Ontop of that, I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up, but was still charged an amount. I tried to dispute it and of course no one contacts youAmanda H.
No one helped hook up the trailer, the tounge was frozen, had to kick it loose. It was an open trailer and half full of snow, I had to shovel the snow out before I could use the trailer for hauling. Worst service ever at a uhaul store.LARRY Z.

Ask for a appliance dolly, thought it was in back of truck. Which is was not. Called them, they left me on hold for 15 minutes, I hung up called back, he was going to put me on hold again. Told him we didn't get the dolly, and he said he was going to take it off. After returning truck that night I got billed for the dolly plus $150 , when I never even got it. Over drafted my account, now I have fees I have to pay because of him.JADE F.

I rented a 5 X 8 van trailer to move my son, who is in the military, to his next duty station. I live 30 miles west of the rental location and was going to Chicago, about 170 miles East. I asked Keith, the attendant, what their hours were as I wanted to drop the trailer on my way home to avoid driving back to return it the next day. Keith told me if I dropped it after hours, it would cost me $25 extra. Keith told me a different story when I returned the trailer. Turns out, I could have checked it in with the mobile app and not driven an extra 60 miles. He claimed he told me that. I told him, if that was the case, I wouldn't have towed an empty trailer 60 miles out of my way. After loading for a 200 mile tow, I realized the tire pressure looked low. The driver side tire was at 22 lbs and the passenger side was 34 lbs. The tires are supposed to be inflated to 60 psi. I told Keith about this and he shrugged it off with a poor apology. Won't be renting again or recommending this location to anyone.Jeff H.

UBox was a utter nightmare. Delivery was excellent, I loaded the box and it was picked up on time. The other half was just one disappointment after another. I was under the impression my UBox would be delivered to my home, that's the service I had payed for. Well uhaul couldn't locate my box so they transferred me to move help the company that was to set up delivery of the ubox. So the said talk with Uhaul, I gave up and went to find it myself. After locating the Ubox and verifying it was to be delivered, by a company they chose and getting the delivery time, I took a day off work. I waited all day for a no show and no call, except for the Uhaul yard who had my Ubox and was closing at 4 and said they weren't waiting any later. So I called uhaul who told me to call moving help. The rudest person I had ever talked to, wouldn't let me finish a sentence without cutting me off. After conveying the company who was to deliver the box was a no call and no show and after I called and found the company wasn't in business. He told me I was lying and the company is in business. I said I'll wait on hold for him to verify. He returned told me he talked to the owner and I was full of it. Then set me up with a different company. So another day of leave used to await my UBox again. The mover called and had been waiting since 9am to pick up the ubox, it was 11am. He asked if I could call and try to reach someone, nobody answered. The mover called 30min later, an Amazon delivery was being made and the associate at the uhaul storage answered the door. So the mover showed up with my ubox. He had to rent the truck to pull the trailer that had my Ubox. He didn't know how to back the trailer up and let me know he needed the box emptied immediately because Uhaul needed the truck back and i wasnt on the trucks rental paperwork so he wouldn't let me back it up myself. So I unloaded the Ubox in the street, and piled up my boxes so he could get the truck back. But not before I spent 20 min unscrewing 2 brackets on the lock side with my keys, (by the way my tools are inside this container) as the mover was getting upset I was taking to long I snapped them off with a tire iron in my vehicle and spent another 5min bending back the metal the forklift bent into the container door and floor of the Ubox during shipping. If I would have known it wasn't going to be delivered to the destination and brought to me the way it was initially I would have picked it up myself. The uhaul yard is 9 miles from my home and i own a truck.Travis D.

I am active duty stationed at the Rock Island Arsenal and have always rented equipment at the Davenport Uhaul for any travel needs. Service and equipment have been outstanding and the store manager Mr. James Kelly has been amazing with us and always gives us the best deals. The truck we had needed some major work done. Pulled very hard to the right. No weatherstripping on the doors. Extremely bad gas mileage, truck showed between 5 and 7 MPG. Terrible. Told the employee when we dropped it off that it needs worked on before sending it out again, not really sure if he listened or not.ERIC W.

One thing that I had a hard time with was I was never told a link was going to be sent to me to check over the truck that I had before I left and when I got to my place and started moving stuff I went to check my phone and there was a link and when I went to go use it it said it was expired nobody told me that I was to go on to this link check the truck for anything so when I called back they told me that I could come back up bring the truck and they would go over step by step with me and go over the truck that person who told me that already left for the day but initially nobody told me to look at this to go over the truck so one of the employees said he could not send me a new link so we stood there and went over the truck cuz you I guess are supposed to go over any scratches on the track any marks or anyting thankfully I had the chance to go over this with one of the employees after my truck was loaded and I left for my move but you need to make sure that your employees just told handed the contract over to the person who's renting the truck and don't tell them about the length and she go over the truck with them to Mark anyting if there's anything wrong with the truck I was just lucky that I even knew I had this link in that I was supposed to do this and that somebody did eventually go over the truck with me that was the only problem that I had but it could have been a huge problem if I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise the service was pretty normal and it all went smoothly after that to drop off location that I went to was great she works with me very well and took care of everything so I am just grateful that everything worked out because when I picked it up in Davenport it did not go smooth because they did not tell me anything about a link nor did they go over the truck with me before I left.ANDREW H.
