My UHaul experience for my move was terrible. The Englewood, Colorado facility treated me and my family with disrespect and not a shred of customer service. The staff tried to lie about the arrival of my U-Box, and forgot to schedule the drop-off to my new home. The UHaul associate named â€œJayâ€ was the most disrespectful and called my mother â€œKarenâ€. She was screaming and offered no assistance in resolving our delayed U-Box arrival. She refused to give her manager's name and contact info. He said no you're all set and I left. I then get an alert that I'm charged extra for a bogus cleaning fee and extra day. Overall experience was fair. When I picked up the trailer, the driver side tire was in bad shape. When I pointed it out, I was told it was fine, but a bald tire is not fine, in fact if it became a problem on the high with a load could be dangerous. We filled the gas tank thinking that was the right thing to do from previous car rental experiences. The manager only refunded $30 of our $100 gas expenditure. We are filing complaints with the State of Connecticut and the National BBB. This took money away from our charity event. Very upset. Determined.MITCHELL P.

The truck functioned well enough, but looked like it doesn't get cleaned often. The seats had big rips in them and the cabin smelled like cigarettes. The bigger issue I had was that U-Haul tried to scam me out of $94, claiming I was given the truck with 1/4 of a tank of gas and returned it with 1/8, when in fact there was only 1/8 when I picked it up and I returned it with 1/4. The pick-up process for the truck requires you to take and upload a photo of the dash, so they could clearly see this, but they misreported both amounts on the receipt and tried to scam me. Thankfully, I took my own photos and evidence, so I was able to dispute this and get the $94 charge refunded, but was not even given an apology. I would never use this location again or recommend it to anyone.Jesse T.

She is rude, not sure if she was having a bad day, but it was only 7:45AM and her attitude was appalling. Another customer came to get his rental and he had the same rude treatment. The customer service at the desk was horrible. Multiple employees gave conflicting information regarding charges and penalties towards mileage. A simple truck pickup took almost 40 minutes because of this - and one of the employees wore a "GAY AF" beanie, which he switched out of mid transactionMICHAEL M.

Bad customer service. I was there with U-Haul 2 mins before closing and she told me she has to leave work, I don't understand why she would say that before scheduled closing time. I find it unacceptable that I urgently drove the truck with a full tank to meet closing time and for her to say that your only 2 minutes before closing is very unprofessional and unprofessional. This will be my last uhaul rental, I was planning to give you at least 50 rental a year because new venture, but I believe a company who is professional should get my business. I was quoted $45 for a â€œcar dollyâ€ when I booked over the phone. I was also told I was all set, that all I had to do was check in, and pick up the rental. However, when I got there it was a bit more involved. I was given something other than what I requested, but I was still able to complete the task at hand. I ended up pay more than $60., for less than a three hour rental. So it seems a bit pricey for the item and time. The staff at the South St. West Hartford location were very nice, polite, friendly and professional. I guess all in all, it was a positive experience.JOSEPH V.

Need to make sure that they clean inside of the truck- clean food wrappers out from behind the seat. Clean crumbs off the seat. Clean sticky mess out of bottom of cup holders.
