I rented the uhaul for a day, I was wanting for a few days but the experience wasn't good. It's the winter time & the heater wasn't even in the uhaul, the tire pressure was low, I had to keep putting the air, the gear was so bad. The uhaul wasn't clean from inside either. I wish I could get my atleast half of the money back bcz I spent even more for Saturday rental as well as pay for the gas a lot. I would like to get some money reimbursed for an inconvenience. The women that help me was so nice to me that day. I had a bad day I just moved down here. I don't have any family so, I was so mad and frustrated by the time I went to this store. The lady came outside ask if I needed help , and just her tone and her smiling and taking the time to explain everything to me. I called my mom and started crying because somebody that didn't even know me was kind and cared about me as if I was her family. When somebody I've know half my life is not even as kind as she was. Jonathan and Natasha where the very best managers I have ever come in contact with. And the rest of the staff is just as good. They are kind considerate patient and they all go the extra mile. This is what it takes to run a good business and have good relationships with customers. They have continuously helped me when I needed their help and they were very kind they treated me like family. And I have to say some customers were very rude but I seen these people present themselves in difficult situations and we're still nice and kind with difficult customers. The trucks steering wheel was off center at 45 degree angle when driving starlight. The truck would turn for left then right after trying to adjust the steering wheel and I was all over the road. This truck needs to be repaired correctly; ball joint replacement , inner / outer tie rods , 4 wheel alignment . This was a dangerous truck to drive on any road or Circumstances.luis M.
this location needs more people on staff. I arrived to rent a truck and waited almost 30 minutes while the employee struggled to assist a customer with a language barrier. He did not know how to properly and confidently tell the customer he was unable to provide the service he needed. Customers had to use their phones to assist in Google translate. The employee would have kept everyone waiting if it weren't for customers intervening to assist with translating and providing solutions so ALL customers were served efficiently. Unfortunately, I'd a very disappointing experience. I had a reservation for a cargo van plus a trolley. The trolley was missing. But without the trolley I couldn't move the furniture. The employee in charge, due to his mental disability as he explained, couldn't manage the stressful situation. Eventually he went out on the truck lot and checked out other trucks, and miraculously, he found a handcart. The entire episode took about 20 minutes while another employee was standing around and watching the scene unfolding It is laudable that Uhaul employs people with disablities, but it is not okay to leave someone alone on his own deviced in a situation he can't handle. Why did the other employee not help? Secondly, instead of placing a hold on the estimated charge, my cc was fully charged, but a day later adjusted for the correct charge I incurred. I received the same tuck number as another customer and when we went into the office to get it situated no one was at work! After 15 minutes of waiting the employee that cleans the trucks seen us waiting and decided to help. He was very confused on what he was doing, almost to the point where he tried to Double charge me! This whole mishap took over an hour before I received a different truck. So long that I was charged an extra hour with my scheduled movers! I am not happy with this experience. I don't know who to believe, UHAUL or just this location. I placed an order online as mentioned which stated office hours 9 am to 7 pm Access hours 9 am to 10 pm and considered one of the 24 hour access location. However, apparently there office and access hours are the same. They said I wouldnt get in pass 7pm. Strike one- I also reserved a 10' truck and unit along with a dolley. The truck was available however I had issues with the storage unit. I couldnt bring my belongings back after 6:45 pm , in which online only reservation available at multiple location for a truck was 7pm but Im not allowed to access the storage facility after 6:45 pm 🤔 Why? The young lady had to contact her manager /supervisor to approve access after hours!! Strike two- The storage unit that I reserved for available which was a 5×5×10 however its was ok but I decided on something bigger therefore I changed to a 7×5 ×5 perfect for now. I go back to bring my belongings the door was open to access the inside unit however apparently you can only access units on the outside after business hours but not inside ok. So Im inside with belongings in hand and the unit I reserved for has a lock on it, wow!!!!🙄 i just spoke with the two employees on duty at the time and this happens so no unit and belongings with me. I reserved for 7pm to 11pm they withdrew the entire amount already from my account, paid in full no unit. Strike three- I get back to return the truck was unable to return online for whatever reason it gave me a message of not finding the location in which my location settings were turned on , so I came in the morning when they opened at 9 am which the young lady said I could return and it was on the reservation at 9 am. The line to return was long, social distance is out the window. There was only one person working and Im at this point over uhaul. This location was great and uhaul services are great in general. But i got a pickup truck for like 2 hours and it was really expensive! The more you drive the more expensive it becomes!
