The vehicle was dirty when I rented it. I was Informed that I had to return the vehicle and retake it out to remove the insurance coverage that I thought I removed when I reserved it online. They knew that I was taking it back out and that I have not fully fuelled The truck. I was charged for the fuel that was missing even though I took the same truck out. I returned it with more fuel in the tank than what was in it when I took it out and not credited for it after being charge for fuel they didn't fillChristopher V.

at the location i have used on many occasions, the parking of personal vehicles to do any sort of business is very limited and you are full with only 2 or 3 customers. It feels like a high volume location and you have lots of equipment here. So I understand and accept itNeal M.
The manager couldn't bring the type of vehicle I was towing up in the computer so instead of substituting for a very similar better known car she called it a side by side. Since the computer thought it was a side by side it wouldn't allow me to get the dolly I wanted. I argued with her to change it to a comparable sized car but she gave me shit about how the insurance wouldn't cover it if it wasn't what was listed as being towed. The over the phone customer service was great because the original location didn't have our U-Haul ready. They had us booked and sent to this location within 15 minutes and the girl at the customer service desk was great and accommodating. Would highly recommend this location.Sako V.

Dude charged my credit card after I told him not to, then said i had to go inside, then inside said I had to go outside. This rental was a pleasant surprise. Key pick-up was rather average to poor, but the time it took was pretty quick. Vehicle return was efficient. Only adverse comment is that the vehicle was not full of gas upon pick up, so filling before returning was a guessing game. I travelled 16 kilometres and filled with 7.6 litters. That's about 34 litres/100 kilometres â€” what would a reasonable man think of that?Glenn K.

The windshield was so dirty on the inside you couldn't see through it. Almost no gas in the van Their is a problem with the van it shakes apart at highway speed. Needs to be looked at.shawn S.

My original reservation was for a pickup location and the time I indicated for pickup was approved, however when I arrived at the location and checked in, I was told to come back 4hrs later to get the keys. At no point did the online reservation or any of the texts I received indicate that I needed to make the booking when the pickup location was open. I then needed to call two different numbers in order to get help changing my reservation to a new location. This as extremely frustrating and not a great experience as well as putting my move schedule behind. I needed to drive out of my way to the new location in order to get the truck I booked days beforehand. The customer service representatives I spoke with were very helpful and I had no further issues but at no point did anyone apologize for the problems with the online reservation system.Caitlin B.

Excellent lady and excellent service she even herself took the time to check the returned truck milleages for both of us ( seniors) the lady was very helpful and kind. We were very happy and appreciative of her service despite our long day moving furniture couch and queen size bed ordeals in minus 32 cold temperature and very slippery hazardous roads. The tires were soo bad that it was dangerous to drive in the winter. The uhaul offers rentals year round and in a northern climate like alberta Canada it is impractical and dangerous to not take care of their vehicles. It got stuck on a plowed road and we had to push it. There was no sliding into the ditch etc just couldn't get traction. Shouldn't they be adequately prepared for winter? Don't you as a company have a certain responsibility to maintain safety for their customers?John S.

I had 2 units, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor, the outdoor I had more access as in later access. The indoor your only allowed till 5pm, which sucks when you have a lot of stuff. I moved in, in the fall, I moved out in Dec. 24 during a deep freeze. My outside unit was frozen shut, they did put ice melt on it, but it took over an hour for them to use a pick axe and open the door. My movers had to sit and wait. The prices differ between which uhaul you go to, seems individual owners set their own prices. I used west end edm, they were more reasonable than other locations. All and all, they are ok for storage, they are better than Sentinel storage.Chelsea C. | Overall Experience
I don't know how thoroughly the trailers are inspected upon return. When I picked mine up the latch that holds the ramps in was broken, and the fold down fender hinge bolts were very loose. The trailer itself worked well, the staff was friendly and helpful.Monte K.

The man that greeted us was swearing at customers. He immediately was defensive that we had complained about his dog that was very aggressive. Let the customer know in advance where they will be dropping the unit off prior to signing contract. Being called after and being given a drop off that is 1:15 away from where you wanted to drop off I had to ask for fuel compensation, I was not offered, On drop off I was charged over $23 for fuel When I left it with a1/4 tank agreed upon When asking for a different drop off for several reason, I was told I verbally agreed to drop off at the location, offered no solutions, nor wanted to work any out, I returned the unit 2 days early as the pass I had to go threw to return the unit was going to have snow for the next few days. I am not trying to get any money's back from inhaul I want to put the move behind me and will make sure my friends kow what there in for if they use themClyde K.

I was very impressed with each member of the team. The person outside, at the truck dropoff tent, was pleasant, helpful, and a great person to be customer-facing. The counter staff, both at the time of pickup and later at the time of drop off. There were two people on the counter at the time of dropoff. A junior person learning and a more experienced person helping out. That person that was the more senior with seemingly more experience was an excellent choice for training staff. I don't remember her name but, and forgive me for this, she was the one with the blonde hair.Roy C.

The front office/desk staff was efficient and friendly, but the trailer was filthy inside. The inside of the door was covered in a black and oily substance (most likely accumulated dirt and oil between the panels in the door). I rented the 6x12 trailer to protect a couch from the road grit in the back of my truck; unfortunately, I only made things more complicated for myself, as instead of just wrapping it up in the back of my truck, I had to line the inside of the trailer with cardboard and wrap the couch anyway. Very unhappy with being charged $15 for cleaning when it was dirty when I got itâ€¦ and the automated return system (after answering that it needed cleaning) funnelled me to having to pay for it. I indicated that it was dirty on my pre-departure inspection, too, so will be contacting you guys for a refund on the cleaning!Clark K.
The reservation people on the phone did not explain fully that when I asked for two movers they were not reserving them I had to go on line & do that myself. But they took the payment for the movers. When the movers cancelled out because there was no elevator in the building U haul did not take care of the refund. I had to call an 800 number to get my refund. I held for over 10 minutes but finally did get through & they said they would refund my money. I don't have it yet but they claim that is the credit card company's fault.rodney G.

On-line check in is great but it efficiency is lost when you have to wait in line at the pick-up location for 45 minutes. If you wish to have people use on-line check in then make it worth their while when they attend the pick-up location.Darren B.

USB plugs for cellphones would be handy. The interior cup holders in the dash where dirty with split beverages in them. They could be cleaned out way better. The air bag on the passenger side above the glove box had a split in the dash and nothing was mentioned about it. I took pictures of it right after I noticed it, before I left your parking lot. I don’t expect all experiences to be bad, but it was not good. They couldn’t find my reservation so we had to do a new one. They were going to give me a smaller unit than I wanted. I was told before I got there that the 2nd floor was drive up and it was not. And it took about 45 minutes in the office to set this all up.
