I booked a truck in advance being though I was on a time schedule went to pick up was given key & told to match with truck got in the truck big crack in windshield passenger arm rest on door was broke there was service lights on the dash the latch on the back was rusted / jammed then I drop it off a hour later only to lock the key in & the store manager tell me they have no spare key while trying to resolve this issue the manager rudely walk off on me 3 time not trying to hear what I was saying then was ask to stay & wait for the lock smith to unlock it 40$ plus 4$ a gallon of gas cause the truck was still on worst experience with a manager period!!!!!!!!!!

The customer service agents were extremely friendly and helpful. The process itself by u-haul made it confusing and stressful. I had received a text message saying that my box was scheduled for 1/30-2/12 in Maryland. I wanted my box shipped to California which made me think it would not be getting to the final destination. I was not told I would need to further schedule delivery from the location that it was shipped to, to the final U-haul destination. I had called multiple times to ensure that it would make it to the final destination at the proper time. Even though I had originally stated where it should be delivered and on what day when making the reservation.

Know where the van is actually located before you send a customer to grab it - I was sent to an ice-covered lot next door to trudge through it to look for a vehicle that ended up being parked in the actual UHaul lot. On top of that, the van was obviously not cleaned well between uses and the equipment I had requested was not inside.

Reserved the rental Uhual for 24hrs, was told to bring the truck back in 17 instead. Minimum mileage to put down on the contract is 10, I used 2 and was charged 7 miles.

The rear door on the truck would not close. this location was sold out. So I had to wait 40 minutes for the guy inside to finish with other customers, and then remove a black rubber form piece to get the door to close. The truck was not clean cigarettes ashes inside the cup holder, and the truck smelled like smoke. What a waste of time.

The staff was friendly. The truck, however, was fully of dirt and mud. I had to clean it out first before putting any of our things in otherwise everything would have gotten dirty. When I dropped the truck off I waited as instructed for someone to come out but no one did, so I had to go in. It wasn't a big deal but then don't have a sign that says "wait here for someone to come out if they're not going to".

I have no issues with the pick-up location. My issue is with U-Haul in general. Very disappointed. I reserved a truck six (6) days before I needed it and my reservation was canceled the day before due to lack of inventory---the day before!

Make sure the customer who rents the equipment prior to someone else's reservation returns that equipment on time. I was scheduled to get the truck and trailer at 11am and didn't get it until 3pm. That made a HUGE difference in my plans; not to mention I lived 45 mins from this particular U-Haul and there were no trucks at any closer locations though there were several locations closer to my home.

I reserved a 10 foot truck and when I arrived to pick up my rental they informed me that they did not have a truck for me and after going to 3 other locations I had to rent a larger truck then needed costing me more money than planned and lost 2 hours of moving time. I was on hold for over 30 minutes with the 1-800 number and then was disconnected before talking to someone! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

A VERY observant employee apparently noticed from an upstairs office window that my trailer hitch was not quite tightened down and responded downstairs forthwith to not only inform me, but to remedy the situation. This was a horrific experience for my family and I. The truck wasn't available for pickup despite early planning. It broke down half way through. Roadside assistance was of no help. And we're still waiting to here back from anyone regarding a refund for all of our troubles

Given the growing epidemic, I would have appreciated seeing staff take precautions as recommended the CDC. None of the staff working on pickup or return were wearing a mask. There was no indication of the truck had been cleaned/sanitized from the prior use.

I occurred more debt having to keep vehicle a second day due to storage not being cleaned out had to wait for worker in the rain until he was able to get things open... didnt get tarp I request. Most of my thing were wet k had to purchase boxes twice and move my things in alone because the movers wont move wet things into storage because the didnt want the liability of my things if damaged...smh this is awful.

Order # 21072822. Charged an extra $181.44 for no reason. I already paid $1316 for two Uboxes. The Wilmington store charged me extra 1 month storage and it took them 15 days to get my UBoxes.
