I made the reservation on-line which included the pre arrival check-in. When I arrived, I was still required to fully check-in. Their explanation was the systems don't match up. ????? I reserved a 6x12 trailer and (1) hand truck. They didn't have any hand trucks. So, yes, this was an overall average experience.RICHARD B.

What I didn't need was the comment from the guy checking the truck back in when he said "next time return it cleaner". Here is the condition of the vehicle I rented: Frame around upper corner of windshield was sticking out, both visors broken and hanging down, left side of dashboard not connected, parking brake bent and hanging down, wire bundle on passenger side hanging down from dashboard. I checked it out with a "full" tank of gas, which it was not. It was less than full. When I returned it, I filled it to the brim and the gauge registered well above the "F" mark when it was below the "F" mark when I checked it out. This is the third vehicle in a week I rented and returned with more gas than when I got it and this guy is going to comment on the dried mud that could be vacuumed off the rubber mat?! And the vehicle is in the shape I listed above?! Keep the snide remark to yourself please.James D.

I paid for furniture blankets and when I arrived to where I was moving from they were not in truck. I was upset and worried about damage to my furniture. Thank goodness I had clothes,, small blankets and coats left at home to help cover furniture. But not enough, had some damage,, still upset that I did not have the furniture blankets.. I reserved a truck 4 weeks prior to my move date when I called a couple days ahead of time to secure make sure everything was on go I was told that just because I made a reservation didn't mean I was going to get a truck. I'm not sure what kind of business you're running the people are moving in people are busy and when they make a reservation they expect to have a vehicle ready and prepared for them not to go through the headache and the hassle that I had to go through I would not recommend U-Haul and this is the second time this is happened to me with your company very dissatisfied customer.STEPHANY D.
I know it's hard to hire people, but please at least have more than one person working on a Friday, who is trying to answer the phone, filling propane, and renting equipment. If you don't have enough staff have some one from the marketing company office come in and help.(which is above this location) This is the worse place to rent or buy anything. They really don't care if they wait on you or not. It's been wait for years. Had reserved a 26 ft truck a few days in advanced that was supposed to be â€œin stockâ€; unfortunately there wasn't one available when I arrived Saturday at 0800 as in the website reservation. . I was offered a 20 ft instead. It was a slight inconvenience while moving in town as we had to do 2 trips instead of one, but had to pay the hired movers/men more for doing so. Both of our boxes broke and we had no idea. The facility did not notify us that our boxes were broken. When we scheduled to see our boxes, it wasn't until we got to the facility that we learned that the boxes needed to be moved into a new one due to them being broken.
