the trailer blew a tire 60 minutes out on the trip. 11:30 PM and although the service was responsive, it delayed the line by a couple of hours and late into the night. There were also two tires left in the trailer no one at UHaul seemed to know what to do about. It was frustrating not being able to talk to anyone directly at the Yakima site.

As a new customer the process and protocol for renting a truck and the return of the vehicle were unfamiliar as you might expect. AT NO TIME during the face to face process on-site of reserving, discussing mileage and return did ANYONE say ANYTHING about needing to download an app on my smart phone in order to be able to return the vehicle after business hours. (This seems discriminatory against your clients who may not have a smart phone!) Also, setting up an account was difficult (the app kept telling me I didn't have a password for the username, which was my e-mail, even after I did set a password!) and then when I arrived in town to return the vehicle, at the time which I had set on my contract (no extra day expenditure, no extra mileage), the app WOULD NOT recognize/find my location. I had the "find my location" setting on my phone turned on, I followed the directions of the tutorial (SEVERAL TIMES OVER!) but it would not find me sitting there in the parking lot at 7:30pm. I sat in the vehicle for 45 minutes trying again and again to get it to recognize my location but it would not. I was tired from my trip, my pick up ride was waiting on me, so I took all the pictures that the tutorial said, of the mileage, and the time on the clock of the truck, the condition I was returning the truck and of the UHaul store to prove I was there at that time. I left the key in the box and had to leave after 8:00pm. On the way home I tried to find an email account for that store so I could send them the pictures to prove I was there at that time. There isn't one. I called the store phone to try to leave a message to explain. The answering service SCOLDED ME! She said, "Well, the lesson you need to learn here is not to leave the site before you call me here. Now you'll be charged and additional $20.00." Here is my take-away from this experience: If the technology is to help make things easier, fine. But what about technical difficulties when there is no one around to help a customer after hours? What about clients who don't have a smart phone? And, I'm sorry, how about TELLING THE CLIENT that there even IS a technology they will need in order to leave a vehicle after hours?! No one said a thing about it even when I made it clear I would be dropping off after they closed! Also, if a record of where I was at what time with their vehicle is the point of the app, then doesn't the fact that the truck and key were there when they opened the next morning PROVE that I didn't keep their truck longer than my contract said I would?! Also, I still have the photos and I went into the store the next day after I got off work to discuss the extra $20 fee and my difficulties. The line was long, it wasn't moving very fast and after 10 minutes of just standing there, I left. You got me. You get to keep an extra $20 after I spent over $200 to haul a gift to my son. Do you feel proud? Your company might as well just own the fact that you have hidden fees and charges to nickle and

This was an awesome experience for us. From check in to check out to loading our storage room, the transaction was quick and seamless thanks to Miguel and Clint at the Yakima S. 1st location.

Miguel at the inside desk was excellent. He absolutely knew what to do and how to do it. Clint outside was just as helpful. He was knowledgeable and clear on his explanations. He knew how to do electronic check in and got us set up with a storage room. Awesome experience.

They were very helpful in addressing the concerns we experienced with our 10' truck. There were serious fuel issues apparent and we were lucky to have been able to add enough fuel to get us home and that it didn't break down entirely on our trip. Bad experience.

no issue with store or people there. but i made my reservation online, and did the quick check in thing to avoid waiting around while the information was done at counter, but it did not send it to the center where i picked up at. so if your going to have something like that, make sure it works properly.

Have more employees to work the counter. I was in line 45 minutes to get my paperwork. Inspect your equipment upon arrival or perform a basic operational check before it is released to another customer. What should have taken a half hour turned into 2hrs because the first transport trailer didn't have working left side lights and the techs had to bend over backwards to convince their supervisor that the problem wasn't my motorhome. 2.5hrs to pick up a transport trailer is unacceptable.

when the lady called me and told me my storage was do I told her I no longer had a storage with them no more and they were still charging me and I lost my key to my storage

Since I work 8am to 5pm in Toppenish, and live in Union Gap I set aside weekends to utilize my storage unit there were times it was a hasssle to meet the 5pm closure.

Very satisfied with my storage experience at Uhaul in Yakima. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was always clean and well lighted. And the price was reasonable.

Nasty! I found live ants in my stuff. The ants traveled to my new home.. I’ve never had them before I put my stuff in U-Haul I’m so unsatisfied with the way the manager handled it.. never refunded me

Dont move out of the storage unit early. They dont prorate. Lost over $60.00 because of not knowing this. Also, the staff is very lacking and with only one person working, he was rude!!!

The checkout was easy and quick. Access was convenient . The only issue we had was how icy it was to access our inside unit. Otherwise loved the cover over the access doors.

Very, Very clean, I swear they wax their floors. No odors and we found no signs of critters. They even offer carts to haul all your boxes in with. I would definitely use this facility again!!!

My entire storage was stolen, uhall allowed some one to move out my entire storage unit and all of the contance and a u hall was rented in my name. Everything I own is gone

My only complaint is the access hours. 7pm is too early. 9pm would be very convenient. Having an employee on the grounds looking at cameras or whatever til 9 ! It would be a selling point. Thank You!
