No ac in the truck. The absolute worst part is the entire U-Haul business needs to allow direct phone calls to the location. Very poor phone communication exists. I made the reservation online with no option to choose more than 24 hours. Just tiring dealing with itTerrance A.

Be up front with charges. I picked up the trailer on Friday evening and returned it Saturday after the store closed in a condition to rent immediately. Expecting to get charged a day rate but had to pay for two days. This was not explained at time of rental.ERSKINE C.

Rented a truck at a U-Haul location 1.5 miles from my home. 2 weeks before I needed it. You failed to have a truck at that site, resulting in me having to travel an additional 8 miles to get one .You never called the day before, as you were supposed to, to let me know where to pick up the truck. Resulting in me having to call you, and being put on hold for 15 minutes. This is a corporate problem an needs immediate attention.WAYNE B.

I reserved a van online a few days prior to pickup. When I arrived on the day, I only got the van because someone else was a no-show. I noticed the disclaimer when I made the reservation, but I think revamping your system to better track your equipment so you don't reserve things you might not have would be a good idea. The employees were great to deal with, the van I rented was newer and in good shape and it turned out to be an overall good experience.Wendy H.

My original order was to pick up in Gettysburg PA. Which is about 20 mins from my home . At the last minute the location changed to York, which is a hour plus drive. It disrupted my time line for packing and departure. Only an apology was offered. You should also reconsider your decision to do away with Military discounts. I made my reservation over phone about 10 days out and rec'd confirmation but it never went into system to actually reserve the truck apparently..I rec'd an email the day before that I had to pick up truck 30 miles from where I thought I reserved it from in East Petersburg PA..by then there was no other truck closer to me available..I did receive a discount on my bill which was very much appreciated. Then when I pick up truck for one way rental to Rehobeth Beach I find out the closest drop off is 20 some miles away from Rehobeth. This was also a surprise as I could not believe there wouldn't be some where in the Lewes or Rehobeth area. The truck was fine and I did get the job done but scheduling and communication was not. The CSR that I did talk to and got me the discount was very goodJill M.

This was such a horrible experience. I reserved a truck on May 3rd for my move on May 29th. The truck was to be picked up 10 minutes from my home. At 9:25 p.m. the night before my move I receieved a confirmation that the truck was ready to be picked up an hour south of my house at 10:00 a.m. That was such an inconvenience and could of caused me to pay more money to my movers who were scheduled for 11:00. After hour and a half on the phone we were able to change the pick up time till 9:00. Had to have a family member go get it to save me 2 hours on the road. That was the worst customer service I have experienced in quite a long time. Highly upset with this experience. Sad thing is none of this was my fault and I have a confirmation email showing the pick up at the location by my house.GERALD W.

I ended up not using the unit at all. I took it out and brought it back within about 90 minutes. So I never even used the unit. You see my daughter was not happy with my choice of units. She had a friend get a 15 foot truck instead from Maryland to take her to Cockeysville, MD. They would not refund my money since I took it off the lot nor give me a discount.BRUCE F.

We scheduled a 9am pickup. We were told the evening before that we couldn't pick up until 12:30 p.m. Then we got there, and the uhaul we reserved was not there. We had to wait an hour, and then we were told that we needed to drive 30 minutes away to get another uhaul. This put us six hours behind schedule, which caused chaos in our day. We have a child that needed to be watched so we could pack. We had family who changed their schedules to help us. The inconvenience from uhaul scheduling made our moving experience miserable.Samantha B.

The drop off after hours is horrible. The worst experience ever. I was there for 45 minutes trying to figure out how to do things on my phone while on the phone with customer service who couldn't help me either. You need to make drop off easier especially for those who don't have internet on their phone, phone dead etc.RACHEL G.

I have seen a decline in both customer service and condition of truck, but have only used the Roosevelt location 3 times so maybe it was just a bad day. This is a older facility with a tight parking lot in a rough area of town , but the staff was very professional to us.DAVID C.
Truck was downright disgusting. Interior has ash for cigarettes all over it. As well as bottles and what looked like grease mixed with napkins in the cup holder. I actually drove it home to clean it before I felt comfortable taking it to my destination.Jason M.

I would have rated this higher. But I booked my storage a week before my move. Unloaded my stuff to find out my storage room 1018 has a lock on it. My stuff is sitting in the hallway waiting for the lock smith to show up he seems to be busy these days because it been almost 24 hours. Also I questioned why My Im being charged 10x10 rate while my storage is 8x8. I was told the price board was incorrect. It also seem that the website is incorrect too. I like the facility in Colorado much better. This one is not az well-lit nor maintained.us the one in Colorado is climate controlled. Also, I oy need a 5x5 but had to take and pay for one two sizes bigger. Also, this one is not as convenient as my other one but just as pri ey. Right from the start my experience was atrocious. From a trailer hitch installed upside down, to lost storage reservation, to Outrageous hold times, failure to end my storage lease after I moved out. The person who took care of us did as much as they had to do. Not very customer friendly. I also asked about a mouse problem since there was a big sticky mouse trap in the storage unit I was renting. I was told there wasn’t a problem. The only problem was the sticky mouse trap got stuck to one of my boxes and it cannot be removed no matter how much you pull at it. Supervisor was very disrespectful with my wife and when appropriately and respectfully approached about, he had a seemingly "i dont care" attitude and didnt even as much apologize or even try to understand his wrong doing. His only response was "ok" when I explained the situation that I wasn't there for and how criticizing a customer who didn't hear you for legitimate reasons is wrong. He simply walked away to avoid something he was wrong for which is completely unprofessional and he shouldn't be in a position he doesn't deserve with that negative attitude. I'm a 14 and ongoing army vet, I shouldn't have to worry about my wife having that kind of situation while I'm out with my daughter. If I trust you enough to do business with you for over a year with storage and utilize your vehicle services why do I need to worry about her going into your facility and dealing with your employees? There was only one time during my unit rental that I was two days late on a payment. I honestly had forgotten about it as the due date was over a weekend. I received an email about it and quickly called and made a payment as well as set up for auto pay. The thing that upset me is that in that time (two days...first time late) they had already sent letters to BOTH of my contact people about me not paying.
