I said that I needed a vehicle and a ramp to transport a motorcycle. I was told the only vehicle was a 15' truck. The ramp was too narrow to safely load a motorcycle and the vehicle lacked the sufficient hardpoint to tie it down. I wound up not using it. Surely you can supply ramps that attach to your vans.PETER B.

The guy (wish I caught his name but he worked on 07/16/2021 and it was at 7:00am) was so kind. Prior to us, there was an issue with the credit card machine and some kind of glitch with the customer before me, the U-Haul guy contained himself positively and still had a smile.MICHELLE R.

when i reserved online, i requested a hand truck and blankets. the facility did not have them available. This meant going to another facility in Allentown to get the items needed. the online platform should of been able to advise if these items would be there before allowing the reservation to be completed. it would of saved us the hassle of having to go to another pick up location.MARIA D.

The people were fine. You changed the location ofy pickup without notifying me, then also changed the time of my truck pickup without notification. This made my move incredibly stressful and I will do everything in my power to never use U-Haul again.Austin H.
When I picked up the first of 2 rentals on 6-30 the person was rude and unprofessional. The second truck I picked up on 7-2 was not cleaned, there were wet moldy blankets from the previous renters in it and the hand truck was laying unhooked loose, the trucks check engine light was on and the drivers side door wouldn't stay closed and even popped open on my driving down the roadMICHAEL T.

I rented this truck with the intention of a 1 day move. After picking up the truck I drove approximately 20 miles before the service tire light came on. I was also having an issue with steering, the front end would shimmy if I tried to drive over 40mph and when cornering. I stopped for service advice at another Uhaul dealer on route to my destination assuming they could help. The service tech added air to the rear tire and sent me on my way. That was just the beginning. As we picked up the first load, and started to drive, we could not go over 30mph before the truck felt unsafe. This caused us to return to our house and unload weight for safety thus requiring multiple trips adding mileage and time. I tried to call the Uhaul number numerous times a day every day only to get a recording telling me someone would be right with me. I held for almost an hour each time. While driving through the night, trying to make up time, we stopped to adjust the load after one extremely unnerving shimmying event. The headlights were on auto, which means they should go out when the keys leave the vehicle. The load adjustment took longer than expected and the battery died from using the light in the back of the truck. When we called Uhaul roadside assistance they said they would get someone to help and they would call us back to confirm service was on the way. This was at 1:00AM. We waited on a dark road at night for over an hour waiting for Uhaul's return call which never came. Not sure if service was on the way, we decided to call Uhaul back. Only then were we informed that due to our desolate location and time of day no service was available. We were forced to flag down cars at 2:00AM, many of which passed us by. Imagine flagging down random cars at 2am on a dark desolate road...our reality was the beginning of every slasher movie ever. The additional days and miles are due to your unmaintained vehicle. It is absolutely shameful that you would put your customers in such dangerous situations. Uhaul needs to do something to make this right or I will be in contact with my lawyer to see what our rights are. Has to tell the associate let's go and check the truck out before I left with it. Associate seemed to be bothered by me asking U took pictures of the truck in case of issues. No visible signs of where to park the truck when I returned it but. Angel was sure to tell me about when I returned it. The only reason I would recommend this place is because of plenty of equipment. The tailgate on the pickup truck I rented was out of the track and would not open. Unfortunately, I was already out on the road and didn't realize the problem until I went to unload my yard waste at the recycling center. The truck was also dirty when I picked it up. Called the local location after placing two separate 24 hour consecutive online orders and the woman who answered consolidated those orders immediately and without question. Ran this 5x8, well used cargo trailer behind a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 fully loaded up and down mountains to recover contents from 1 BR college apartment without issue. I didn't even have to back-up the trailer upon return; "Angel" unhooked it on a pull-through lane and sent me on my way.Scott H.

The 15' truck I received was very dirty on the inside. Definitely no Covid precautions maintained. The windshield wiper on the drivers side was halfway off and I drove thru some bad rain. Extremely unsafe!!!!HOLLY M.

The rear cargo door is difficult to close. When it goes fully open the latch is locked in place and you have to climb into the cargo area and manually manipulate the latch and catch mechanism to free it so it can come down. I believe this risks injuring your fingers in the process. I was able to be it successfully.PATRICK L.

TRAINING!!!! The company definitely need to improve skill sets & impart customer service training. The General Manager needs to be more empathetic. He was not rude but lacked empathy and concern. Extremely dry. Despite being a happy customer, I would not like to visit again. This was my second hire in one week. The same was the case with the first manager.
